Before anybody tries to say anything like oh they just play alot number 8 over here got that in the first round alone and left thinking it would be enough.

Than came along all of these sad low life stooges who got this many in like 1 to 2 rounds.

Let's talk a bit about these "problematic cards" shall we?

I've been seeing alot of dumb takes recently and I have to talk about some of the bullshit I've been seeing.

DMD:

The most common one I've seen get dumb takes it genuinely surprises me how shocked people are that a finisher actually works like a finisher an ender of games.

I'm not gonna deny this card is op with Rose but that's a ramp and rose issue more than anything, Beta and Citron have a better finisher outright in wall nut bowling and more reliable and faster ones in the form of Gravitree and Soul patch (or a different strategy) so he isn't always needed with them, Green Shadow's and Nightcap's best decks are archetypes that don't fit Dragon at all as they are too fast to ever need such a finisher that's actually suite slow.

So what you're left with is a card that yes closes down the game from the zombies side and prevents tricks and minions from really being played but that's what an 8 cost card should do idk why people expect games to turn 12 and beyond to end no they don't they almost never do so there's no reason to complain about a card that does it's freaking job unlike most of the remotely same costing zombie late game cards that don't even bring half the value this one does that's where your complaints should be not about a card that just does it's job effectively when in reality there are better options and strategies.

And even with its inherent strength it still has its weaknesses, if you were ahead of the game before this gets played 9/10 this card is not making the plant hero comeback, it can still be removed by bounce or deadly or neutralized either by freeze or just outtrading it, despite controlling multiple lines if you read it you can still capitalize off the empty lines to see the game off.

Point is that it's a strong finisher yes but is unbeatable or broken beyond belief? No espresso fiesta and WNB are alot more problematic for zombies than DMD

Cabbage:

This card is only good in one lane and is basically a lump of meat late game so you really cannot consider it broken, it's a good card that becomes very oppressive if they follow it with more great early game options but it still has some simple counterplays and countermeasures if you just play a bit smart cause at the end of the day it's a huge pile of stats and it doesn't do much else Bonk Choy is the much more problematic leafy early game card than this.

Shrinking Violet:

This one is weird for some reason people don't get that utility cards with a niche secondary don't always need that secondary to work, you're not always gonna play swarm Z mech or Boogaloo (especially now cause Swarm is the weakest it's ever been) and you don't have to get value out of it can set up trades very well for your cards, relieving you of potential high aggro and potentially nullify certain cards not to mention it's arguably the strongest it's ever been due to how strong mustache decks are now.

Also for the people who complain about Shrinking there's literally an alternative option Snapdragon in the same class for the same price that can do the same thing sometimes better sometimes worse depending on the situation that puts on minion on the field making it way easier to use. Better yet just use better crowd controlling options cause almost all plant classes have them like have you heard of winter melon?

FMN:

No it's not broken it's an amazing one drop that can almost always have an affect on the game and sometimes can do alot more. Also the thing alot of people don't realize about FMN countering it is literally just having good early game options if you play Con Man, cheese cutter or any other problematic early game options this card doesn't do shit so I don't get why people complain about not being able to counter a card with the literal thing it's countering, this just comes more so to a deck building issue than anything cause you shouldn't have your early game be so trick heavy not to mention also you can just as easily play around it even if it lives with a little target prioritization and planning. Now is it annoying to face this card if they draw 2 early game? Yes but that's not every match.

It's a strong glass cannon type of card that can protect itself against an area of the game but very weak to it's other half.

Treasure:

For some reason people wanna complain about this now? We really wanna complain about card that requires another card to get value almost always, isn't playable dry which leaves the zombies very vulnerable the first few turns if they don't have an early game option not to mention aswell it's very RNG dependant so it doesn't always bring great value to you.

Ramp with HG? Let's forget that: Brainy itself has like 5 combos better with nebula than buried treasure, it takes him a drawing a set amount of specific cards all of which need something else to get value and can't do anything on thier own, leaves very vulnerable for the time he's trying to set it up or that has counterplays if you know how to read it.

It's a very niche combo card and emphasis on combo card they sometimes work sometimes don't so don't complain about them the few times they do you should instead learn how to counter them instead if you see them coming either directly or through plays.

Spacetime:

As many times he can cause issue he could just be just as useless. Combo with Laser Base? Yes it's very strong but that's mostly due to how strong Laser base is not spacetime himself not to mention the zombies by using it could prevent them later from a combo much more problematic and dangerous like Tomb Raiser, Yeti, Gorgolith etc by relying instead on RNG dependant card to get good luck out of it which sometimes happens sometimes no.

Not to forget aswell it's very low damage, it pinging your block meter alot which you can use to ur advantage and it sucks late game.

Teacher:

Pretty much the same explanation I gave about Forget me nuts except that it's worse in this scenario cause it's much more easily reactable and counterable than Forget me nuts.

Valkeriye:

Ahem... A CARD THAT'S GOOD WITH ONE HERO AND ONE HERO ALONE IS NOT A GOOD CARD NOR OP.

Idk how many times I have to say this but there will always be people who overrate this card based on one trick it can do not to mention it still has many weaknesses in that one trick in itself.

Magnifying Grass:

Speaking about cards that are good with one hero, this one is a little less egregious due to MG being somewhat usable with other heroes outside Chompzilla as a sort shadow finisher like you use it to bait out some removal(if they have some) to than use other stuff like Astro, Laser Bean etc but it's nothing special.

Outside that stupid combo which is more indicative about how stupid Espresso is than anything it doesn't do much of anything. It's a midgame option that requires you to sacrifice stability in the midgame in order to potentially get value in the late game while being just as easily removable.

Trickster:

Trickster is a very solid finisher that in alot different ways with different combos and deck types usually depending on the hero you use him with but by his own he doesn't do shit he always needs to be built around to get value which in turn comes with own set of problems such as direct counters in forget me nuts, brainana, Sportacus and Dragon, if you don't draw him early in your hand your deck kinda becomes pointless and the main thing of him needing a huge percentage of cards tailored to him limiting the decks flexibility.

So is he op? No he's a good finisher that does his job well and can just aswell backfire (kinda like how I explained Dragon before)

Big Removal:

Big Removal or removal in general main objective is always to create an advantage for yourself and ruin what the opponent is trying to do so don't be surprised when these cards again do thier job while forgetting the fact that in some games they get big value but just aswell can clog your hand up and be completely useless.

Fot the people who generally think GV is overrated (even though it's used in almost all top tier hearty decks and one of the main reasons to use hearty) HOW AND WHY?

Out of all the bs in her stupid kit who in thier right mind decided this was ok?

I'm of course talking about her phantom pursuit (the dash that needs money). Like imagine for 1 second with me now BP but you can't hurt him nor CC him while he's dashing now that's stupid right? So I'm wondering HOW did they decide it was ok to put that on black cat?

Like Yes she's overturned slop character, too much survivability movement etc but all that can be chalked to a poor balancing team that has proven time and time again they suck at their job but like HOW DO YOU THINK THIS IS FINE?

Yeah I couldn't find panels that matched the words 100% but I think it still turned out great

My personal Hero tier list after the changes

This one is a bit different when it comes to rating I mainly rate them based on how good they fare in the current meta, how well their classes compliment each other, superpowers, weaknesses and strengths and how many top tier decks and strategies they have currently.

DD has been fun to learn especially since I almost never play melee characters, I've gotten him to captain getting better with combos, 1v1s, positioning etc. Something I've noticed that is my damage is usually lower than my damage blocked and I have to ask is this normal? Doesn't matter if I play good or bad but I always notice my damage blocked is quite high like I definitely played way too passively before and just went full dive but now I've started to learn how to mix and match in between and not to always stand by waiting for the opportunity to dive but still my damage blocked is very high with usually my damage being lower so I'm here to ask from more experienced players is this normal?

Has anybody faced this new phenomenon where someone on your team does really well first round then decides to switch to a character they obviously don't know how to play with than proceed to die die die and lose very winnable games?

This is happened to me FRICKING 3 TIMES in Comp like in the last 2 days

First incident:

This harry guy does really well on rogue and we manage to win on defense without our opponents touching once than proceeds to switch and alternate between psy, magik and wanda and do jackshit with all 3 which led us to lose A GAME WHERE THEY DIDN'T EVEN GET A TOUCH ON POINT (33% percent but you get the point)

Second incident:

This supposed Count Invis proceeds to insist on FF despite us doing really well first round and the opponents having someone who ended the game 14/14. This bitch proceeds to then afk at the start of the second round, horrible plays on top of horrible plays like ulting solo on point when 4 of us were down and you wanna know her stats endgame? More damage than healing and only a measly 12k compared to our enemy invis who got 25K with way less damage meaning SHE ACTUALLY WAS HEALING AND TAKING CARE OF HER TEAM INSTEAD OF GIVING UP HALF WAY ON SUCH A WINNABLE GAME MIND NOT ONCE DID THE OPPOSITION PLAY A DIVE.

Third incident:

Domination we win first round quite handedly running 3 dps but it worked due to enemies having Thor and Groot as tanks against Star (me) Bucky and Wanda (with strange team up) can you guess what our wanda decided to do? SWITCH to Black Cat WHO OBVIOUSLY SHE HAS 0 EXPERIENCE WITH Then IRON MAN mind you while She did this the enemy's dps switched to goddamn NAMOR and she sees this then proceeded like I said earlier to play IRON MAN OF ALL THINGS THE TANKS DIDN'T EVEN FRICKING SWITCH. Than the audacity to switch back to Wanda on 3rd round (clearly showing She knew what she was doing) and we proceed to lose slightly on overtime like WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY?

ALL OF THIS SO THAT WHEN THEY GET REPORTED FOR THROWING WHICH THEY OBVIOUSLY DID THEY GET A FREE PASS CAUSE OH THEY HAD A BAD GAME.

Or maybe it's my fault for complementing my team in between rounds yeah that might be it.
