Watermelon Z x Runtz. 1g Indica Indoor flower by Greenline. 29% THC and 1.2% Terps. Packaged at the end of March.

Never really was a part of the hype around Runtz and Z but I got quite a few promos recently and I'm starting to see the appeal. I got this one on 420 from Cake House.

I've seen quite a few Greenline strains but have never been a huge fan of the look. They tend to have this really fuzzy look that isn't photogenic at all. This strain wasn't as "fuzzy" as the ones I've seen. It's like 50/50 forrest green/purple shade and orange hairs. As you can tell this wasn't trimmed well. But when I took off the big leaves and stems on the outside it was still 1g so I guess I can't complain.

As soon as I opened the bag it was hard to get a good understanding of the smell. Smelled like some OG that is also sweet. Once I took the nugs out and really got up in there it almost smelled like a grape swisher. Grape and creamy but something just made it remind me of a blunt wrap. Idk.

It broke down nicely despite being on the stickier side. I really was not expecting much based on the look and smell. But damn did this hit hard. I usually roll a .7g joint. With this I rolled the whole G because I didn't see the point in saving a .3 and less than halfway through I started feeling the effects. Very euphoric. Didn't make me feel lazy or groggy. But I did want to chill.

A very solid smoke overall despite the look and smell. I think the 3.5 is $30 at Cake House. I'd say that makes it worth not being super pretty.

You've heard about it, you've seen it, and you know it. Formally Known As French Laundry by Maven. I guess they had some copyright issues with the name French Laundry which is a restaurant? I can't remember. I looked it up a while ago so the details are fuzzy. But they did get a cease and decist and had to rename it to FKAFL. 29% THC and 1.26% Terps. A cross of The Soap x LA Rouge. Two strains I'm not familiar with.

Ngl they're putting too much salsa on the taco, as they say, when it comes to the description. For me the smell was average. Very skunky and earthy at the forefront. With notes of sweet citrus and pine once ground up. Nothing super strong.

I was a bit disappointed upon opening the jar because if you saw the photos of this strain from several months ago you know it looked like that old school white widdow. Just completely covered in tricombs. It seems like the recent batches aren't as visually appealing. Still solid but not out of this world like before.

Fortunately it seems like the effects were not negatively affected. This is my first time trying it so I can't compare it to older batches but it was a very giggly munchie inducing high. You definitely want to have a good movie and some snacks ready because you're looking at a long lasting high where all you want to do is chill, eat, and laugh. It also lasted longer than most strains I have smoked recently.

Grabbed this for $40 otd at Caliva. Say what you will about Stiizy but before they took over Caliva had almost no top shelf options under $65. It's become my go to for AL, Connected, and Maven. All $40 otd multiple days a week.

Solid strain.

Been hearing great things about Life is not Grape so I was stoked when I got a 1.5g jar in my monthly goodie bag from Harborside. Bolo I believe is a Runtz variant but idk what the difference is. 29% thc and packaged in June. Kind of annoyed they don't do the inner seal thing like CAM or Alien Labs. I feel like the smell could be so much better if they include that. I do like the artwork. Definitely graf inspired.

Again. I'm not too familiar with Runtz in general but this smelled like a more sweet OG Kush with some gas. Not too strong but again that could be because of the lack of inner seal. Forrest green nugs with specs of pruple throughout. Minimal orange hairs. The tricombs give a fuzzy look to the flower. Kind of like Greenline if you've ever seen their flower.

I'm going to smoke it in a bit so I'll update with the effects in the comment section later tonight.

Can anyone tell me if the looks and smells are what Runtz is known for and the difference between regular Runtz and Bolo.

1g of G Runtz by Sattva Cannabis. Hand trimmed, small batch, indoor flower. 35% THC and 1.5% Terps. Indica strain. Pre 64 Runtz x Gush Mints. Does anyone know what the difference between regular Runtz and pre 64 Runtz is? First time I've heard of it.

Heard about this brand for a while now but never pulled the trigger. I happened to get this for free on the 4th of July in a goodie bag from Cake House.

The flower looked pretty good. I never hopped on the Runtz train that hard so idk what it's supposed to be like. This was a nice medium green with small specs of purple. The smell was slightly gassy and slightly sweet. Also kind of like a regular OG Kush. But once ground you get that pine smell. The nugs were pretty dense but broke down nice and easy. Probably a bit drier than most would like but perfect for joints imo.

The high was solid. Lasting about 2 hours. Euphoric and munchie inducing.

Not sure how much the 3.5s usually go for but imo it's like on the level of Lumpys or OFL. Like a solid step above the average mids but not quite on the level of brands like NTK or TEG.

I had this once before about a year ago on 420. Grabbed it for $40 at KindPeoples on Soquel. Great dispo btw. They have the retail shop set up and display jars for every strain they carry. I was able to smell it before buying and man did it pack a punch. So when I saw it here in SJ at Caliva for the same price I didn't hesitate.

Unfortunately the smell was no where near as loud as it was a year ago. Instead of a very pungent gassy sweet smell it was just piney with subtle hints of berries. It still smoked just as smooth. But even the look and cure were different. You can see my post on here from a year ago and it does look similar in photos but this batch was less purple and a darker green. The other one was also sticky af. This wasn't as sticky but tbh I don't mind because when it's too sticky my joint doesn't stay lit. But I know it's probably a bit drier than most would like. The one last year would stick to my hands and I would still have tricombs on my fingers after washing them.

The high was similar but also less potent. Not by much. But still. It seems like it was just a but worse in every category. Still worth the $40 but there are also better options for that price right now. I hardly ever get the same strain twice but at least when I have the quality has been the same. Devil Driver by CAM, Trainwreck by UpNorth, Blue Dream by Claybourne, and Creme De Menthe by Alien Labs are all strains that I've had multiple times and never dipped in quality. All were also $40 and better than this batch of Crescendo.

Pure Beauty is women owned if that's something you are into. I haven't had their other strains but from the display jars I've seen it seems to me the flower either looks great but doesn't smell like much or the flower looks mid but smells amazing. But I can't speak on the effects.

If you could get this for $30 I'd say it's well worth it. At $40 it still is but there are just better Sativa options out there.

I heard Cake House had a Chicken and Waffles blunt and had to get it. Chicken & Waffles is supposed to be Jelly Donutz #117 x Purple Cartel. But idk if that's the case here. Made by Royal Blunts. I got this way back on 420. I didn't realize until I got home that Royal Blunts is just a hemp wrap company.

I can't find any info on them about growing and selling flower. When I got home the goodie bag had a 4 pack of OG Kush Hemparillos, a 2 pack of Grape terp infused wraps, and one rose petal wrap which apparently go for $15, $20, and $2 respectively. Aside from that they're based out of Tijuana, Mexico. So I would assume they just buy flower here and roll it with their wraps imported from Mexico.

After finding this out I really didn't want to smoke it but I was just so damn curious. I broke it open and the flower didn't look terrible. Definitely some sungrown/outdoor but at least it was all flower and not a bunch of shake and stems like other brands.

When I opened the pack I got hit with a smell of grape swishers and Russian creme backwoods. Only not as strong.

Overall it was better than I expected. I got stoned for about an hour without a groggy comedown. Definitely stoney and munchies inducing. Not super strong but good enough. I wouldn't share the blunt though. This is definitely a personal smoke. 1g and 25% thc. However for $10 I have better options. That Chico Verde pre roll I got for $4 gave me a similar high but the flower was better and less harsh. I can also get a 1.65 El Blunto for $10. So I wouldn't get it again but it wasn't complete garbage.

Wedding Pie x Larry OG. Sativa leaning hybrid. 29% THC

Very nice bag appeal. Medium green nugs trimmed very well. Has almost a silver hue to it similar to SSH. I know people have complained about how dry CAM can be. However I tend to like my flower slightly dry because it breaks down in my grinder easier and if it's too wet my joint doesn't stay lit. This was a bit more sticky than I would like but that might be just right for other people.

The smell was outstanding. Heavy on the lemon lime. Almost like a SLH but without the sour notes. Just pure lemon and pine. The high was decent. Nothing too crazy. It does have a quick onset however it doesn't last too long either. But I only smoked a .6 at a time so maybe I just needed more. No groggy comedown. More uplifting than racey and overpowering. No munchies. Slightly euphoric. Really the high is the only place where it loses points for me. It's not terrible but the look and smell are 10/10 while the high is like a 7/10.

I ran out of papers so I had to use this weird "rose petal" wrap. It's supposed to actually be rose petals with some type of hemp to hold it together. But I definitely felt like I was smoking a swisher or white owl. Tasted like flavored cardboard. You could even see how black the ash is from the wrap and how different that is from the peppered ash from the flower. Would not recommend. But it takes 1.3g to fill up in case anyone was wondering.

Interestingly enough the brand Royal Blunts also makes blunts. Like actual blunts with flower. When I bought it I didn't know this. The budtender just told me they had a chicken and waffles blunt and I had to get it. Has anyone tried these before? Has anyone seen a wrap brand do blunts? I'm not expecting much and honestly I've been holding off on smoking it. Even their OGK hemp wraps had this super weird alcohol type smell to them that I didn't like.

Lil Leftys 0.75g Infused Pre roll. Indica 37% THC. Grape Cookies.

It also doesn't say what it is infused with but it is clearly rolled in keif and judging by the look of the flower it probably also has some cheap resin inside. Also definitely has added terps.

As soon as I opened it I got that artificial grape smell. Like a Welch's grape juice. Very sweet. Upon opening there seems to be quite a bit of trim. Like that last bit that gets trimmed off of the nugs.

It was slightly harsh but not as much as you would expect. That grape taste almost completely disappears when you smoke it. It definitely gets the job done. You can feel the wax and keif. Stronger than just flower forsure. Very relaxing and munchies inducing strain.

Interestingly enough they seem to be pretty huge in NY. It is women and veteran owned per their website but other than that I can't find out much else about them. People in NY sub reddits speak like this is top shelf. They love the smell and taste. It is clearly not top shelf flower but idk what type of weed they're used to out there.

Idk. I probably wouldn't buy this even though idk how much it costs. There are better infused options like El Blunto and Raw Garden. Anyone tried these before? Any fans of the brand?

Chico Verde: 1g Sativa pre roll. Golden Goat 27% thc. I've been seeing a few of these latino seeming brands pop up lately. Like Humo, Chico Verde, etc. Does anyone know if these brands are actually owned by Latinos? I know Humo is based in Salinas but that's it.

This was very pleasant. $4 otd. Honestly I would buy it again. This is probably greenhouse or outdoor. It has that very earthy smell. The taste is smooth and has that similar earthy flavor. It's hard to explain but it reminds me of back in the day when my friends would pull up with some flower they said their friend grew. Once in a blue moon it would actually be great. It would have that notable smell and taste that you don't get with indoor. Just some very well grown outdoor. The high was very potent. Quick onset. My only issue is the length of high. While it was strong it only lasted like 40 min. No come down. Just stoned, then not. The flower looks very good for the price. I'm shocked at how good it was for the price. Up there with Humo imo. Not indoor/living soil/no till but about as good of flower as you can get without those methods.

El Blunto: 1.65g Sativa blend not strain specific. Hash infused. Normally when I get these I can break them open and actually see the hash or diamonds. That was not the case this time. Maybe because it was a bit older or maybe I just didn't go deep enough. The buds felt like the hash might have blended with them because they were a lot more damp and fluffy than I expected.

They do full flower that is hand broken never ground up. That's cool most of the time but I have gotten a mini blunt that had a giant nug at the tip with gaps all around it. I ended up burning through that part without actually being able to smoke it. But that was just one instance. Also you get to keep the reusable tip. Smell is nothing crazy. I think they use hemp wraps. Overall it's just a solid deal for $10. I definitely felt the hash even if I didn't see it. Also worth it imo.

Eighth Brother: 1g Green Crack. Got it for free for 1st time at Off the Charts SJ. It's normally $4. Not terrible but at that price the Chico Verde is the way to go.

Also am I tripping or does that .6g pre roll at the end look super tiny?

Orange 76 x Chimera Junky. Sativa. 28% thc and 1.43% terps. I'm not familiar with this brand or even the lineage of the strain but White Fire has those cool see through display jars with a magnifying glass on top and some holes to smell the flower. This was the best smell Sativa they had by far. Super floral with notes of citrus and spice.

I'm not sure what Delighted 3.5s usually go for but this was $30 otd. Well worth it imo. I would say the photo where I'm holding the nug with my hands and you can see the steering wheel in the corner is just as the flower looks like irl. Like a medium to light green with just a touch of a blue hue to it similar to how Blue Dream looks. But not as blue. Lots and lots of tricombs. It looks like a churro right after you take it out the oil and dust it in sugar.

I finished this month's ago and forgot to upload it so forgive me for not remembering much about the taste and effects. All I remember is that it was not harsh and it was very euphoric.

Honestly my only gripe is how the nugs got a bit flattened due to the mylar bag. But I have seen much worse. $30 is very fair. Idk how their other strains compare but this is up there with CAM.

Anyone else tried Delighted? Are they usually good and priced the same?
