Multi Agentic Liquid DAW

So the OS is becoming obsolete because of vibe coding. In the future, your OS will not be some monolithic app container, but instead be a fluid system that gives you what you want when you want it. At least I think.

So it seems likely the DAW will follow some similar path. Take a read ifnyour interested. I lay down the science, and the steps to accomplish this yourself!

VØID offline song slicer/sampler/remixer. Let me know if you enjoy it

https://github.com/Loserdub/VOID1.2/releases/download/void\_app/VOID1.23beta.exe

FREE AND OPEN SOURCE

Hey everyone,

As a music producer and developer, I kept running into the same friction point when dealing with long sample packs, field recordings, and AI-generated stems. Standard DAWs make you do way too much manual clicking just to chop, isolate, and export clean slices, and a lot of existing tools are either bloated or don't handle transient detection and workflow speed the way I want.

So, I decided to build my own solution: vøid.

It’s a lightweight, specialized audio sample-slicing utility designed to get you from a raw audio file to a folder of perfectly chopped, production-ready samples as fast as humanly possible.

Why use it?

Precision Slicing: Built specifically to handle the heavy lifting of chopping long files, stems, or chaotic audio loops into clean, usable slices.

Streamlined Workflow: No bloat, no complex menus. It’s designed to be a fast, hyper-focused utility that sits right next to your DAW.

Built by a Producer, for Producers: I engineered this to solve the exact bottlenecks we face when trying to build sample libraries or prep assets for creative production.

It’s completely free, and I’m looking to get some feedback from fellow producers, sound designers, and hybrid creators to see how I can keep improving the workflow

https://github.com/Loserdub/VOID1.2/releases/download/void\\\_app/VOID1.23beta.exe

Let me know what you think, walkthrough upon first opening.

FEEDBACK FRIDAY

Lets give this a shot, if it works it will be a regular thing! Lay down whatever suits your fancy.

Only one rule: If you submit, you HAVE to give feedback on another song.

Obviously breaking this rule will result in some kind of ritual curse process. TBD

Finally seeing the damage they did

I just got done dealing with the worst narcissist I had seen since the one that brought me up. I mean truly evil behavior.

But it made me realize, sometimes when close to someone I would over react to fix a situation I could sense failing. It always made things worse, and I thought it was just me and maybe I was crazy.

Nope turns out it was due to the way I was raised, to value someone else's happiness before my own. I didn't realize this, but now I do.

Because for years of my life, one persons mood dictated if I laughed or cried, it sucked. At least they own it now.

I have noticed all women narcs, always end up the same, old and alone. Maybe men too, but that's not my exp.

"Meant to Be", link inside w/ process!

Link on bottom, So with this track I was going for a reflective bittersweet vibe, some things are just meant to be, you have to accept it.

It was made in three runs, about ten seconds in, was the initial idea, one of many ringtone songs i have (the arpegiated pattern)

I took that and made some versions using suno, finally settled on the acoustic finger tap vibe that is the majority of the song.

Brought that into logic, one thing suno does well is maintaining the original bpm unless otherwise prompted. Put it together with the original melody, added a reverby horn thing at the start. Finally I'm a big fan of effectrix2 plug in. So I did some fx stuff on the acoustic playing.

Of course I cleaned it up, boosted what I needed to, the boring stuff.

And it passed the rather strict landr gatekeepers!

Take a listen MEANT TO BE - LOSERDUB

Heads up, from what I have gathered there are some people who make things happen watching, so keep putting your best foot forward!

So a little while back I stumbled upon some interesting information. DSP's have a way of tracking and classifying music from big name artists, million dollar studios.

If you work with adobe you may be familiar, C2pa. Or secured content provenance.

It's basically a tamper resistant seal injected into your audio file, that lets someone know who you are, what you did, and how you did it. Currently some platforms use it to show if a song was made with a daw, altered with software - chain of custody stuff.

I wrote an article about it with more information

take a look right here.

Although to be official, you need to buy a license key and prove your intent with the license vendor.

You can still hi jack the method, and inject your own labeling into any piece of media, if it's ever stolen, you can easily prove it's yours.

Let me know if your interested, I made an app and method, where you decide what it says, you drop it in one folder on your computer, and it pops out in another folder tagged.

After dragging and dropping the music, it adds it to the song in the background. But you can't exit the new pop-up. They should just go to the old one. I can't exit out of the box without exiting the browser

So word on the street is Spotify Will no longer put your music into circulation if it detects AI.

I figured out how to bypass that. Kind of..

https://artists.landr.com/991043395126

Take a look at that link and you will realize something is different from your regular AI song link, It's got a YouTube music link. You don't get that if you publish AI songs. It's also on Facebook and Instagram and Snapchat etc. at least on landr.

But how is this possible?

Well as far as I have figured out, if you make multiple generations of a song they sound almost similar, but you can make variations in genre or whatever.

Then you slice it up and you make a new song with those pieces. I think it's because you're using multiple watermarks or maybe it could possibly be because I do play piano at the end. So it considers it partial.

But it's worth giving it a shot. Try mixing up some song you have by making multiple versions, cutting it up and then slicing it together. See for yourself.
