You can buy the battery online easy, but I'm not savvy enough to do a battery replacement myself, and no shop in town will touch a phone that is not Apple or Samsung, thoughts?
I'm a fire safety inspector, and we have a really large customer in my town that I spend my entire month going to the different sites they have around the city.
I have a set of grand master keys that open every door in every building, from rooftop access to penthouses to server rooms.
But in the basement of the headquarters of this customer, there is a room labeled 'plenum'. It's the only door none of my keys open.
Being unfamiliar with the word I asked one of the old pipefitters that knows everything about everything, and once he explained it to me, I still don't understand why I would have access to something as hazardous as an open elevator shaft, but not this one room in the basement of headquarters?

I had my Jelly2 in my pocket today in the middle of a very (company) expensive exam to obtain a certification for my job, this is halfway in to a two-year class.
As I'm typing on the laptop I feel my left leg start to warm up and I realize it's my jelly 2. So not thinking twice I pull it out and realize whatever it was pressing against caused it to boot into recovery.
Not the end of the world, but here's the problem, the recovery menu is in Mandarin Chinese or something and I'm not supposed to have a phone out during the test!
So one of the instructors came over after telling me to put my phone away, and me poorly explaining that I was just trying to figure out how to get out of this Chinese menu, and we both agreed I should just let it sit in my pocket for the rest of the test and we will pretend like this didn't happen haha
I'm in the middle of this 2-year class, and we are into learning how to program fire alarm panels.
The teacher today when explaining how to run a VLC said you should ground it at the control panel, but not grounded on the other end, because that creates an antenna.
Still not sure what the teacher was talking about, but that's what classes are for, my question is, what type of antenna would that create? Like an AM whip antenna? Ham?
