I have very dry skin, and everywhere I go I hear “you need to let your skincare soak into your skin before your makeup,” but that’s my problem. Whenever I do, I apply my makeup, then it’s flakey. 😭😭 Anyone have any tips?

Edit: Guys I didn’t know sunscreen goes first I saw a tiktok of a lady using it as a first step😭😭 Stop roasting me I was a tomboy for the first ~16 years of my life I’ve only been doing this for 2 years and my skin is super sensitive :(

Edit 2: I also sweat a lot!!!!! And have rosacea!!!!

Edit 3: PLEASE feel free to drop some (affordable) product recommendations in the comments. From yalls advice, I need a toner and a new moisturizer (sunscreen supergoop is added to my list!)

I recently got the Mehron Makeup Skin Prep Pro Mattifying Skin Toner. But I have a problem, everything I use under or over it pills like crazy. Does anyone know how I can stop this? I literally only use Clinique Clarifying Lotion, Clinique Moisture Surge 100H, and el.f. Power Grip Primer to prep my face.

I’m an online / aisles shopper. I finished my online training last night (and before that, orientation). Am I supposed to get my shirt on the first day of actual training..???

Before I start this I want to say I don’t care about people using weed or pot. I just care about it when the smell starts to come into our apartment and when they smoke pot around their dogs. I don’t know how the smell is getting into our apartment, I have trouble breathing normally and smelling this makes it worse. I don’t want to be an asshole about it because (from what I’ve interacted with them already) they’re nice and I don’t want to get them in trouble, and I am also a very non-confrontational person. Pot is illegal in my state so if I did report them I think they would get in trouble. Any advice on how I should go about this? I’d really rather NOT confront them in person but we also don’t have their phone numbers. Pls help.

Edit: We live in a duplex. If I report them they’re going to know it’s me either way.
