Installed a couple of mods, now Arthur looks like this
Idk what caused it but that's funny.
Why the heck is the funeral industry so unbelievably expensive?
When I pass away I want to have the cheapest burial possible. I don't need a $2k box, I don't need the stupid gravestone. I don't need a funeral organizer. For what I care you can throw me in a worm hole as is, you can pay a couple of homeless people to dig and mark the grave with two wooden planks nailed together In the form of a cross. The Priest is free too. Who the fuck needs a $12k box to rot in? Take that money and do something with it, you stupid fucks. Taking $20k+ with you to the grave like some sort of a Pharaoh just seems incredibly selfish. Like fuck it, I don't even want to pay the grave rent: bury me in unconsecrated ground. Like fuck I spent all my life paying rent just to live only to have to pay rent to rot. Fuck that, you selfish pricks!
Dead Space 2 blows the remake out of the water
The remake is graphically impressive, but I just started Dead Space 2 and, holy hell, I don't know what about this game is so engaging but it's been keeping me on edge for an hour straight. The graphics may be dated but the necros just look so grotesque compared to the remake and their movements are so creepy. Just looking at their faces reminds me of that one messed up image of a burn victim that the Devs supposedly used for the models (Google that on your own risk). The last game horror that had me on my toes like this was Callisto Protocol - same Devs as Dead Space.
This game is CRYING for a remake. And not a politically correct remake, I want to see those medical textbook looking ass corpses come to life in 8k textures, with DLSS 4.5 and Frame Gen goddamn.
[PC gamer] really saddened to see Sony will stop porting games to PC
Some of my favourite games to play are Sony games such as the two Horizons, Tomb raider, the two Last of Us games. Those games are absolute works of art and for now you can only enjoy them to the fullest on PC as you don't have to choose between 30 fps or Quality - playing those games at a native 4k resolution and Framegen at 120+ fps is total eye candy. Console gamers would have to wait for a PS6 remaster of those games to enjoy the same experience so that would mean waiting till 2030+ or something.
I guess i will just have to way for half a decade or something until Sony is satisfied with its console sales to begin porting games to PC again. I am certainly not buying a console just to play the same games sooner. I get that Console gaming is overwhelmingly more profitable for the devs, but this just sucks
Looking at the image of a sun on an OLED screen feels like actually staring at the sun.
OLED is great, but when I am gaming or watching a movie I need to actually avert my gaze from the fake sun just because it's scorching my eyes, leaving an afterimage when I look away and everything. Like, when I am just walking in a game I need to look to the ground to avoid catching a glimpse of the sun because it will mess me up. As for movies I need to cover my eyes for a moment to avoid looking at it.
Doesn't help that ABL is dimming the rest of the screen just to display the sun in full 1200 nit brightness. Feels like somebody is shining an industrial grade flashlight straight into my cornea.

How the heck do you get a vehicle?
I have 40 hours into the game and i have never had the chance to drive a vehicle or an airplane because every time i check the menu the only ones that are available are small cars. The tank, APCs and helis are never available for me. Meanwhile i am constantly getting destroyed by stupid tanks and APCs. This feels really unfair like i preferred the Battlefield 2 system where you can just encounter a random tank while running around. Now it feels like everybody is just waiting to fast click their desired vehicle as soon as it shows up instead of playing the game. IMO players should have like a limited use of vehicles like each player can drive 1 vehicle per match so that everybody gets the chance.
Steam's revenue split seems insanely high?
Don't get me wrong: I love Steam, it's great and if it weren't for the sales I'd still be a Pirate.
But today I learned Steam takes a 1/3 cut from every sale. That seems.. obscenely high? Like, a game spends 5 years in development, hundreds of people involved, budget in the hundreds of millions and Steam takes 1/3 of that for allowing it to exist on their store. Am I missing something? There must be more to it because if this really was corporate greed Steam would have been priced out from competitors by now.
[PC] why are my tyres so under-inflated?
My poor wheels look as if they've been shot off. Is this intended?
edit: upon further research I have concluded that the game's physics just break at over 60 FPS and I was playing at well over 120 so I was getting all sorts of weird bugs like my tyres clipping through the road and deflating, snowfall freezing in place mid air and such. The Jank is worth it for the high FPS tho like 60 FPS in 2k26 just feels so choppy lol and besides the bugs are not even game breaking which is impressive for a physics heavy game from the 30 FPS era.
