Today has been the mondayest of Mondays
So I recently watched WAN and the guys talked about what Linus could do for his 40th.
I consider myself in some semblance sharing similar personality traits to Linus:
Limited social battery, I don’t drink, I don’t do any drugs or anything. I’m also not a ‘man’s man’ I’m not really into the whole ‘lads night out’ kind of thing, I’m a nerd, an introvert and a gamer at my most outgoing moments.
That all being said, I rather fortunately am due to upgrade my life to ‘husband’ status, and will shortly gain a wife.
However, I have absolutely no idea what to do for my stag do, my best man is trying to organise it, fortunately all of my close friends are similar home bodies to myself.
I thought it’d be a cool idea to start a conversation here about similar events with similar people, and what experiences you guys might have had!
Thanks!
A part I ordered for a car was titled as ‘delivery between 24th-29th’ when I ordered on the 20th. With FedEx NeXT Day listed as their service.
I ordered 3 days ago and still had no tracking so I got in touch and they responded saying my parcel will be shipped on the 29th and that the ‘next day’ element is when it leaves the warehouse?
Surely this is misleading? I specifically chose this vendor based on delivery timescales.
What are my options with eBay here as a buyer?
Still waiting here,
Tracking no longer works it just throws an error, I have sent a ticket to customer service but that was a week ago and no response..
Hope you don’t mind my asking, having a debate with a friend, who states it’s easy to get on the property ladder. It was one of the hardest things I did in my life - hence (debate).
I’ve noticed a trend recently in that prime deliveries seem to either be late, or they will be not eligible for next day delivery. Or they will encourage you to do a ‘prime day’ delivery that’s in 2/3 days time (which you now manually have to opt out of and select next day.)
If/when you do order prime, it’s 90% of the time either the day it arrives, it arrives in the late evening OR it’ll be late (days later usually).
Basically if you’re waiting for something to come that day, it’ll be the next day you’ll be using it etc or gifting it, whatever it is.
A few years ago you’d get deliveries mid day, early hours etc etc, I almost never see that now.
Along with Amazon encouraging you to not order next day, and struggling to fulfil their next day commitments, + most of prime on demand being littered with ads, I’m debating not paying for it anymore.
Has the service dipped this much in other areas? Do you still view it as something that’s worth the money?
I’m wondering if someone can help with an issue I can’t resolve
Compressor - worked when 12v applied (now works fully since gassed properly).
Clicks and engages on AC button press
Has full gas pressure, and shows pressure holding with no leak
Air con blows warm, however sometimes you’ll get the odd toot of cold
Radiator Fan not engaging when ac on (does work though when tested).
All Relays and fuses checked
OPCOM + Autel scanned no faults on vehicle

Note: I’m not great at art, sorry if it’s not the best!
Electrical living room heater, plugged into a extension then into the wall (I’m guessing this was the culprit)
The curiosity lies in the fact the electric heater hasn’t been turned any drawing wattage since February. It’s been plugged into but switched off
Every year we have little finches building a nest in our house vent box, just above my office
I don’t mind it and quite enjoy them, I can hear them most of the day coming to feed their young etc
Over the last 24 hours all four nestlings, two last night and two this morning had appeared to have fallen out of the nest, and were on the ground, unfortunately two had already died from the fall and the other two died shortly after I noticed them
There’s now no sounds at all I can hear from the nest, no baby birds. I wish I could have done more to save them.
What might have happened here?
The little guy in the picture tried hanging on for so long.. we couldn’t reach the nest but we put the box as close by as possible but mum didn’t seem bothered
On March 6, 2026, eight members of the U.S. House of Representatives requested access to 51 potentially UAP-related records allegedly held by the Department of War and the Intelligence Community. The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) identified a collection of responsive materials held on a classified network. Many of these materials lack a substantiated chain-of-custody.
AARO assesses that this video, whose uploader-defined title is, “4 UAP Formation Iran 26 Aug 2022 over water [CALLSIGN],” is likely derived from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating within the United States Central Command area of responsibility in 2022. A user uploaded this video to a classified network in June 2024.
