Please finally fix the indoor lighting. It's insane how big of a mess the lighting is in some areas. Game goes from looking like a masterpiece to a total shitshow.
Playing on max settings with Ray Reconstruction.
Playing on max settings with Ray Reconstruction.
I have over 170 hours in the game and played the whole time with max settings, DLAA, framegen, and ray reconstruction off. I've tried RR multiple times, but it always lowered my FPS in half. Now I tried it with DLSS set to Quality instead of DLAA, and I get 50 FPS more.... (Firts image is DLSS set to Quality, Max settings, Ray Reconstruction ON. Hi. I'm looking for a 4-player game with a lot of player interaction with a 2.8/5 complexity. Big plus if the game works well for 3 and 2 players. My top games are:
Arcs
Dune War for Arrakis
Other favorites:
7 Wonders duel with both expansions
Dune Imperium with both expansions
Hive pocket
LoTR duel
LotR: Fate of the Fellowship
Seti
Slay the Spire
Spirit Island
Right now I'm looking at Cyclades Legendary Edition, but I'm not yet fully sold on it. I'm just mainly tired of introducing new board games to new players, which are often good but end up being multiplayer-solitaire...
Finally bought this game after hearing about the many "fixes" made to the game. This shit froze once when I was changing the settings, another time when I was exiting the equipment menu, and now the third time when changing settings. I can no longer load up the save. Any way to fix this shit? Game also freezes when loading up a different save.
Specs:
RTX 4070 Ti Super
Ryzen 7 9800X3D
32GB RAM
NVMe SSD
I've had the R6 for just a few days; it was working fine, but today I went into the downloaded software for the mouse and disabled the LED light on the dongle as it was a bit annoying. Now the mouse only works wired and with Bluetooth...
The LED on the mouse turns red when I plug it into the cable that came with the mouse but works fine with a different cable from an older mouse. Any way to reset the dongle, maybe? I did factory settings, but the dongle LED light on/off switch only shows up when the mouse is connected wirelessly to the dongle...
Yesterday I got the ASUS TUF Gaming VG259QMR5A 300Hz 1080p 24.5-inch monitor after using an ASUS VG248QE 144Hz 1080p 24-inch monitor for 13 years.
The refresh rate is obviously set to 300. Variable OD set to level 4. Not using G-Sync anymore, as that caused some bloom if I'm not mistaken.
I'm mainly playing The Finals at 180 fps capped and BF6 at 160, and the games feel a lot smoother, but everything almost seems too smooth and less sharp even though I'm still playing at 1080p. Maybe I just have to get used to an IPS panel after using a TN for 13 years? I'm also using the default Racing mode with Contrast set to 70, Saturation set to 60, and VividPixel to 80, as the default colors looked very dull. I did some ghosting UFO tests, and those seem fine. I didn't notice any bloom or ghosting, not that I could tell at least. The good part is that I'm performing very well. Specs:
RTX 4070 Ti Super
Ryzen 7 9800X3D
32GB RAM
NVMe SSDs
Just got the X68 HE, I've set the Press on 0.4 and that has been working great. However, I'm a bit confused about "Release". I though I'm supposed to set it low to 0.1 - 0.4mm for the best effect but it seems to be the other way around? Also are there any other settings I should change?
I've had the legendary Asus VG248QE 1080P 144Hz 24-inch monitor for 13 years now. It has stayed with me with 3 PC upgrades, but I'm looking for something slightly better, mostly in the color department, as the colors on the Asus are pretty shit. I have an RTX 4070 Ti Super, a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and 32GB RAM. I tried 1440p by enabling DSR to check my FPS in games like BF6 and The Finals, and I wasn't satisfied, tbh, so I'm probably not switching to 1440p.
Some time ago, I watched a video from Optimum Glazing on the Koorui 24E3, but I don't think it's in production anymore, and it seems like the G2411P has replaced it. Are there any better 1080P alternatives?

I've been using the Cooler Master MM712 for a long time now with the 2.4 GHz dongle plugged directly into my PC, and I've always had weird camera stutter issues when moving the camera fast, especially noticeable in first-person games, but I always thought it was the game issue, so I tried to fix it that way. Turns out it's probably the 2.4 GHz connection. Would plugging the 2.4 GHz dongle into a cable like this and laying it close to the mouse help or should I buy something else?

And yes, I have reported this bug
Dude just went 60-1 with a little bird on Golmud rush. You can't even track them with the useless igla, because very little bird pilot with an IQ > 10 can fly it low to the ground. I'm talking about RELIABLE counters, so no RPG's as we had many Engi's with RPG's. Almost as cancer as planes in BF5
Bought the game at release as I love Dune. First 2 hours didn't really click with me as the movement and combat felt really barebones and janky. Is it worth getting back into the game mainly for solo play?
