It's like that fake "rollercoaster that flings corpses to other businesses" Roller Tycoon post but instead of a video game most people wouldn't know the mechanics of it's people hallucinating an entire cultural phenomenon around a large real life demographic

(2014) Power Corrupts is a philosophical sci-fi retelling of the Bible by atheist YouTuber DarkMatter2525, set in a futuristic society where people are placed in a simulation as a God to test how they'd handle power. It's rough around the edges but I found the plot and its ideas really interesting
The show is amateurish and can come across as a little preachy/fedora-wearing atheist-y, the animation didn't age well and Jeffrey can come across as a self-insert but I ended up liking and it's reinterpretations of the Bible
Honestly I hope/wish this show gets remastered or adapted into an actual high-production series/movie or something
