Left BestBuy back in 2018, anything new going on with you all?

Used to work as a sales associate specifically for the Computer Department starting back in 2012 and left in 2018. Sales ultimately burned me out after almost 7 years with the company and when I was working we were expected to get insanely high sales each day and at least 1 credit app a day. Shit got exhausting for me but funny enough I didn't get fired for bad sales, I got fired for my car breaking down lol. Are things still as strict as they were before or did corpo decide to chill out on quotas and stuff?

This item's ability is simply: Player that downs you gets to emote and tbag you for 10 seconds before finishing you off

Sometimes you get to roll away 10 feet before they get to do all that. Riveting stuff I tell you.

Game was fun but quickly getting old

Only so many places that you can hide reasonably and with limited poses, that makes it even harder. I understand they are working on adding more but had to roll back the update which quite frankly sucks. Not to mention, the game is basically just "Paint yourself and afk for 5 minutes simulator". Was fun for a few games and a few laughs but it needs something else to make it more engaging.

Coming back to White Mage feels so cluttered

So back when I started FFXIV during 2.3 and all the way up until 6.0 I played as a White Mage and had a pretty decent hang of the job. Abilities made sense and it was clear what abilities to use over others, etc. Ended up dropping the job to pick up Reaper and other jobs as they came out and only now am I looking back at White Mage again and I'm baffled at so many samey abilities that the job feels absolutely cluttered. Generally I only have to monitor 4-5 GCDs but for White Mage I'm keeping up with 11?? Not to mention so many spells just do the same thing even down to being OGCD? I'm really hoping with Evercold that they clean up the hotbar clutter with this job in particular because WHM really does not need whatever is going on here.

My copy of Pokemon TCG for the Game Boy still has the card in it

Bought this about 12 years ago from a comic book store for about $20. Granted it was sealed back then but I couldn't resist opening it to play the game. Even got a Dragonite as the promo!

Shion is going to end up looking like this in game, isn't she?

Can't wait for her in-game model to look nothing like her cinematic

I feel like the Allagan Technology fell to the wayside (Spoiler: 7.0+)

Living in a High-Fantasy setting with a mix of Steam Industrialization - there was an allure of Allagan technology being this super-advanced ancient civilization where Empires fought to even scratch the surface of what they were able to achieve. But suddenly once we get to Dawntrail, we arrive at RGB city where Electrope basically does everything Allagan technology could and more. So like, is there anything worth discovering with the Allagan anymore?

Games lately just feel like "Stomp or Be Stomped" matches

Idk where the tweaking of numbers and character balancing went but games lately just feel like they're over way too quickly. Some games you lose the first urn fight and that's it - it's over. The entire game for the rest of your 15 minutes left in the match is going to be spent being the fodder to the enemy team. There's no planning, no banning; just flying by the seat of your pants and hoping that your 5 random teammates can communicate their way against a 6-stack.

Idk when the game stopped feeling like "anything is possible, just have fun" to "hyper optimized strats, counterpick items and sweat it out over urn or die". I feel like there's no room to experiment or use "fun" builds anymore. Everything feels so "do or die" and if you're not running the most meta L to R build, you're throwing. Game is hardly fun to boot up anymore.

Almost a week having my Controller and it's one of the better controllers I've had

Coming up on a week with my controller and I've been thoroughly enjoying it! I admit the very first time I used it, I had a bit of uncertainty with it since I felt one too many times my thumbs would accidentally nudge the control sticks when I reached for the dpad or the x button but after an extra day or two, I just got used to holding it differently than my prior controllers.

The battery life on it is insane btw. After a quick overnight charge, the battery has lasted and still has yet to need to be re-charged and I'm someone who uses it at minimum 5 hours a day. The buttons feel solid, very "clicky" if you will but I personally like that as it feels responsive to my inputs which are extremely important as someone who uses this 90% of the time for FF14.

For PC games specifically, it's a must-have imo. If somehow a Playstation controller had the battery life this does, I would consider that a strong contender against the Steam Controller but as of right now, there is no better controller for PC.

Gave up on waiting for my preorder (ordered May 18th). Found someone on eBay who sold me theirs after they didn't like how it felt and got it 4 days afterward. Best controller I've ever had!
