I’m shopping around for auto insurance renewal in New Brunswick and got a confusing response from Belairdirect.

I’ve been licensed in Canada for 2 years, but before coming to Canada I had around 8 years of driving experience in my home country. When I moved here, I submitted my previous license to Service New Brunswick and they recognized my experience, which allowed me to directly take the road test instead of starting from scratch.

While getting a quote, the Belairdirect agent initially told me I could provide proof of my previous driving experience. But later in the same call, he said they would not count my foreign driving experience because it only applies if you’re getting insurance in Canada for the first time.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Is this actually a common insurance policy, or did I just get an inexperienced/confused agent?

Hi everyone, I'm searching for auto insurance as my current insurance with belair is up for renewal and is increasing by $20 jumping up to $247/ month.

I did some digging and I've found The Personal to offer me a better rate of $224/month but I'm not affiliated with any group. Will they still offer me the rate?

Also these are the ones I researched and if anyone wants to tell me any other insurance that I can research??

I mostly invest in ETF like VFV, VUN and some other small shares but the payout hasn’t been great.

I heard to invest in BANK for dividends but I see it’s all time high. Is it worth investing in BANK? Or shall I look at some other shares that you guys can recommend?

Any other app to use to see credit history? Credit Karma is saying to mail my concern to Transunion.

So my wife is a new immigrant coming to Canada and her checked baggage is delayed by 2 days. She landed on Sunday and the person said bag will be delivered on Monday.

She doesn’t have clothes, shoes etc. I am seeing that I can buy stuff that is reasonable and claim it.

1. I bought the ticket for her so would that be an issue

2. Also if I buy things for her on my card then will that be an issue?

3. How can I claim the expenses?

I’m unable to create a missing baggage file as it says, “Unable to locate delayed baggage file with provided information.”
