I love terms in space that refer to catastrophes but make them sound professional

Since working in and around space is very prestigious, most things have a fancy name (apoapsis, periapsis, aerobraking, etc) so its a joke to give catastrophes those fancy names

First slide is lithobraking: using a planets surface to slow down a craft to lower apoapsis or land on the surface. Also known as crashing

Second slide is Rapid Unscheduled disassembly, which is just the rocket blowing up

And yes I know lithobraking is a genuine technique, but 99% of the time its used as a joke

Carnom from Lego Marvel

Carnage and venom mixed into one beast, already a sick concept but his desig is immaculate too. The spikes jittering out of random spots on his back, the teeth and the long tongue and fingers are amazing. His Carnom Max form is especially cool considering how fucking hard they went for a lego game. I really wish Marvel actually properly picked him up as a character instead of leaving him to be stuck to the lego universe and not any comics.

I dreamt that the Zimbabwe International Airport was a tribal arena where you had to fight to the death for your ticket.

The rest of the city was gorgeous and an amazing place. Also the planes went up almost vertically

This is an old dream but I was reminded if it by the other airport post today

I had a dream Half-Life 3 released, but it was just a vortigaunt explaining what happens and not letting you play anything

Said some stuff about how "the game would come later" and "its a place holder" but they still released it at full price, with the gameplay update being years in advance

And before you ask, all I remember from the story was Gordon and Kleiner taking down a combine occupied space shuttle
