Just passed halfway on my collection of the main series (plus the first one of ATWQ on the left)
Managed to find first editions of 2, 6 and 9 in second hand shops, and my copy of The End was purchased soon after it came out when I was a boy, also first edition!
Interestingly, 6 and 9 have blank covers without the Helquist art or title on the front, so maybe they originally had dustcovers? Would love to know if anyone knows.
Have recently bought new copies of 1, 3, and most recently 5 since the friendly local bookshop didn’t have 4 on hand when I went in.

Rumoured new HomePods and HomePod minis in a house that already has old ones
Obviously the brain in the old ones isn’t up to the task of Apple Intelligence, but Apple should allow the old ones to use Apple Intelligence IF there’s a newer device in the home which does have a processor capable of handling it; and just send the request to the capable device and then back and play the response.
I am certainly not going to replace all my homepod minis just to get it, but it would be a great way to show they actually believe in sustainability.

Just saw a man in a balaclava riding stolen motorbike B1ZUM by Avalon Park in Lower Hutt
Reported cause driver was riding with no helmet (which is a common thing in the Hutt), they asked me for more information cause it was stolen! If you see this bike please call police to report it!

Anyone else with a pre Apple Intelligence handset having issues with Siri not working on the phone?
my iPhone 13 Pro will not let Siri work at all. Side button does nothing, “Hey Siri” does nothing despite both being turned on.
Have already tried turning Siri off and on again, and the same with the ”Hey Siri” switch.
Both function fine on my Apple Watch 11 which is also running the latest public beta software.
Anyone aware of a fix, or do I have to wait for the next version of the public beta?
