I note, quite frequently, that many first videos of other youtubers, even if they get a small amount of views, at least get a decent amount of impressions by the allgorithm. A bit more rarely, one of those videos blows up. There is a video called "fat little chud song" sitting at 1.5M views at the time of writing. this was uploaded by a channel created on the same day, with a thumbnail of peter griffin, and no visible tags, basically going against everything those "youtube gurus" say. there's also a channel called "the larping tombstone", whose first video also blew up. their content was high enough quality that they did deserve that, but how did their first video get the initial impressions from the algorithm to snowball? from stats on their tiktok, it shows that their first video got 7 views in the first hour, which is a far cry from the 5 impressions (not views) i usually get on my first video in a day. any thoughts?

(also, to the extent of my knowledge, these creators did not have outside sources promoting their material. for instance, the tiktok i previously mentioned did not post the video until nearly 7 hours after the creation of the youtube video)
