I brought my 2025 Mazda CX-90 Preferred PHEV in to start documenting excessive tread wear on the factory tires in preparation for getting a tire claim going. While I was there, I asked for a full inspection of everything else, and I'm damn glad I did. It'll be covered under warranty but they have to check with Mazda to see if a full replacement is needed or a seal will do.

Is this normal or maybe just a fluke? Pretty good luck I suppose that I brought it in considering I wasn't due for another oil change and inspection for a while. I was told this could have easily gone unnoticed and led to high friction destroying the pinions, ring gears, and bearings. Just wild.

These seem to be the definitive works that dive deep into the tragedy, but I also would like to understand the backstory of Jones himself. I want to go deep into his mind and see the motivations that drove him from an early age. Quality narration is also a plus since I listen on my commute. Thanks for any help you may have.

Has this happened to anyone else? Pretty good luck I suppose that I brought it in considering I wasn't due for another oil change and inspection for a while. This could have easily gone unnoticed and led to high friction destroying the pinions, ring gears, and bearings. Just wild.

I shouldn't have to perform a cumbersome specific sequence of button presses and timed switches that stops the electronic parking brake from locking up when I'm going through a car wash. It's absurd that this hasn't been simplified.

Edit: Seems no one else is having this problem with the parking brake suddenly engaging, so it might be a malfunction of some kind on my vehicle to get checked out. Thanks for the feedback, everyone.

Finished the audiobook about two months ago and I think I'm finally able to talk about it now. This narrator shook me to my core with her portrayal of Vanessa. I'm sure it was a tall order bringing out the complex depth and confusion of the character, both as a naive teenager and as an adult trying to reconcile her conflicting emotions.

Not many audiobooks leave such an impact the way this one did. She handled the author's work of a romantic entanglement with her teacher with great care and respect. I was thoroughly impressed and slightly wrecked for weeks afterward.

Consumer & Business Banker here. I've been working with a client who has been homeless for almost a year now, and when he walked in in the beginning and told me his story, I knew we needed to help this guy. Basically, he never made an excuse, just fell on hard times and had a lot of bad luck. Fast forward to today and he is working full time, building his credit with us, and is finally moving out of the shelter he's been living in and into his very own studio apartment.

In a work environment where clients can be entitled and tone deaf on almost a regular basis, these are the experiences I love to see. Screw sales goals and hustle culture. I love celebrating these kinds of successes so much more.
