Help me once again!!! This sub has been awesome and I’m learning a lot about the game. I had some great input when it came to LS but now I’d like some recommendations on Bow builds for under HR80. I do not play Bow myself but I understand it, this is for my cousin who plays with me.
Just looking for recommendations on my longsword build. I’ve not fought Seregios, Zoh Shia, or tempered apex monsters yet. No Artian weapon either so keep those things in mind please. I want to learn more about the game and optimizing my build so I appreciate the advice.

Good Lord he annihilated me. Defense is about 350 but he can one shot me. I was surprised at how strong he is. I will say my armor is not upgraded at all. I been putting it off because I know the armor I have on is probably temporary but it may be time to bite the bullet and have to farm armor spheres. Basically I’m wondering if dealing with these one shots is normal and it’s a skill issue on my part or if part of the problem is also my armor needs to be upgraded at this stage in the game.
Basically the title. I want to understand before I craft some Artian weapons.
Basically the title. I need 4 of them. I did like 5 quests that drop it and didn’t get it a single time. Played the quests with my cousin if that matters, maybe solo has better drop rates or maybe there is a specific quest that has a good drop rate for it. Or maybe that was just bad RNG. Figured I’d ask, thanks for the help.
Basically the title. He’s HR56. He has not fought Seregios, Lagiacrus, or Zoh Shia yet. His current armor is pretty trash so we want to get him a decent set before we fight those monsters and move on to stronger tempered monsters as well. Yes I know the armor he uses won’t be permanent, we’re just trying to get a set that will give him better complementary skills to the bow and high defense for now.
Now I haven’t fought tempered or arch tempered Rey Dau yet so this may change. I love Rey Dau’s design and moveset and I do think it’s a fun fight, this is not a post to complain about him especially since he has a higher level for me to fight that I haven’t yet. However so far, this dude has been super weak. Idk if longsword is just really good against him, if it’s just me, or what. He’s not that fast, very telegraphed moves, easy projectiles to dodge and then it leave him immobile with a “wound”, idk. I’m wondering if anyone else felt like this with Rey Dau and how much stronger is tempered and arch tempered gonna be?
As a LS main, obviously Peppo is cracked and is the gold standard but he doesn’t upload much these days and I discovered The Art of Long Sword. Good Lord is this guy a master. I’m wondering who is the equivalent for the other weapons or maybe even if you just met a hunter who used your weapon and you were just like “Nah this dude’s got it, they’re something else”.
How should I go about getting optimal damage/spirit gauge charge when waking monsters?

Basically the title. I’m tired of the RNG convo to prevent cheating. Theoretically, RNG is trash and it just makes the game feel more random and doesn’t reward skill. It doesn’t even prevent cheating so why bother? They’ve tried everything under the sun to prevent cheating and making the game worse just to fail at preventing cheating is so stupid it’s not even worth discussion. Why can this multibillion dollar IP that has become one of the biggest games at the moment not just get better anti cheat? That’s what I’m wondering now. Does anyone have the answer?

We seem to be taking big steps in the right direction and the focus seems to be universal mechanics before making big individual changes. I think this is a good idea. I think the big glaring target at this point is combo length, specifically heat burst bound and strong aerial tailspin. Ideally, I’d like both of these to be removed.
I think I’d prefer SAT to go first since unlike heat burst, it can be done multiple times per round. This will also reduce wall travel, which would be nice. We’re tired of being in the air forever and watching every character have absurd wall carry. Please Bamco, address this issue next. You’re on a hot streak right now. Great patch, let’s keep it going
Anyone know where these are at? 24 hour would be great. It’s impossible to find one
