Why is mantis considered broken?

Her healing is good but not that great, her damage is great but it’s hard to aim her shots, she only has 1 ability other than her healing abilities which is a 3 second sleep which is good against dive but again it’s not broken, her damage boost is the thing most people call broken, i don’t see how a 8% damage boost is gonna make a difference, her ult is great but it’s just a copy paste that most supports have

A returning player, quit the game for like 9 months and suddenly I wanna play it again

Is my deck good for area 14? Also if anyone can summarise the things that happened in the last 9 months I would be thankful, and what evo should I get I have 8 evo shards and I need to spend them
