Crash happened near Chýnov (Czechia), roughly 5 people were injured, including drivers of both vehicles.

New floor stickers infront of BVG's iconic information & emergency call pillars intent to make them easier to locate and, as a result, increase the feeling of safety at the station platforms.

What does Pink*Zone stand for?

The project begun yesterday, on July 21st 2026 and currently runs at a testing phase, which is planned to last 3 months. For this, five designs have been placed at five chosen stations. The chosen stations and their floor sticker designs can be viewed on the 2nd image of this post.

They all show up as placeholder rectangles (missing character substitution if I have to assume), and the only way to see these is to upgrade to Windows 11 which has the latest additions of emojis. I dislike Windows 11 and would rather stay where I am right now, I guess that's another inconvenience I have to live with.

Basically, I am on Windows 10 and due to exactly that, I cannot see some of the new emojis since they render as the infamous placeholder rectangle character. I don't really care about not being able to use them, but not even being able to see those is already quite sad.

The belowlying question's response essentially confirms that the only real solution is to upgrade. No fucking thanks.

Dabei sind die Geräte noch garnicht mal auf der U3 fahrplanmäßig unterwegs, lediglich ein Doppeltriebwagen befindet sich nun seit wenigen Wochen auf der U4.
