I remember it was maybe 12 cardboard tiles, each one had four different patterns on it and you had to place the tiles so that every pattern matched up with another one and you had to make a perfect square or rectangle with them. Think of if a square had an X from corner to corner, each part of the X had a different pattern. I think the patterns were black and white/silver. It wasn’t Izzi. I never beat it as a kid and I’d like to find it again so I can beat it as an adult.

I see it a lot in my country (Australia) and it makes me genuinely sad. I plan to become a US citizen in the future and renounce my Australian citizenship, and I use American slang and colloquialisms and terms. But it’s always ‘eewww get that out of our country we’re Australian we hate America wahhhhh’ and it’s like… Guys. Chill. Not everywhere and not everything in America is whatever fantastical or scary news report you watched this morning. RELAX.

I can’t wait to be over there with my people. I love America and American things and it’s just going to be so amazing to fulfil my lifelong dream. I’ve never felt at home in Australia and my heart has always longed for America, idk I can’t explain it.

Title. It takes some time for ATO to prefill your stuff and that’s why it’s always been recommended to wait until late July. don’t do it two days into the month and wonder why nothing is pre-filled.

I’m taking it as an elective as per my future honors supervisor’s recommendation, and I put my preferences in last night but I saw that there’s wet lab sessions. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if there’s any dissections and how many dissections there are, because I‘m forbidden by my religion to touch death or harm a creature (dead or alive) so if there’s too many for me to skip and still have 80% attendance, I’ll just choose something else.

I try to move my wifi to my new address, it says it can’t be completed online. I call them, they say they can’t complete it, transfer me to about seven different teams, one of them tells me it can be completed, I get transferred again, they say they can’t complete it. My cell service is barely useable in my new house and I need wifi but apparently it’s going to require fifteen human sacrifices to actually get anywhere. fucks sake

A handful of days ago I offered $500 to anyone who could help me move, and I’m very pleased to say that u/alienginsberg the legend that he is, helped me move today, so thank you to him and to everyone else who offered!

Four years. Four years of fighting with him to lift a finger, of wiping his damn pubes off the toilet seat every time I go to use it, of repeatedly telling him my boundaries and him crossing them. Four years of him not taking the trash out or the bin out for collection day, four years of him sitting on his ass playing video games till 2am while I cleaned for inspections and open houses (note: I am also a gamer but I game AFTER responsibilities are taken care of). Four years of him slamming the door and stomping through the house after I’ve told him it makes me anxious and to please stop.

All of it is over and done. I decided to apply to some place on my own ahead of our lease ending and I got approved for one. I’m finally going to live in a space that’s just me where I’m not fucking responsible for anyone but me. And as petty as it sounds, I cannot wait to watch that motherfucker crash and burn when he realises that he has to actually be an adult and be responsible for his damn self.

I finally fucking did it yall. Fuck yes.

Please, I am desperate. I have been approved for a new rental to get out of an awful living situation and I have asked literally everyone I know who drives and they either are busy or don’t want to do it. I don’t have my license and can’t do it myself.

I looked at some removalists and there’s no way I’d be able to afford them, and I don’t know if any of them would be open to a payment plan.

At this point I’m looking at moving with just the clothes on my back and literally nothing else, and I’m breaking down over the thought of leaving my stuff behind. I would appreciate anyone’s help more than you know. I will pack everything, I just need someone who can take me and my stuff to Sydney and $500 will be yours.

Edit: I’m taking some moving boxes (not sure of the amount just yet), 2 bookshelves, 2 cube shelves, a mattress, an entertainment unit, a TV, and birdbath and a potted plant

I hopped into the game for a while because I can’t sleep and I was working on my little ranch that I’ve spent so long on and adore. Someone invited me to a public team and my best friend is offline so I figured it might be a good idea for any team related dailies.

Cue the people writing on my camp building ’i love trump’ and ‘I love donald’, and I immediately left the game. I couldn’t remove the letters from one part without removing my entire foundation so I had to cover it with a painting which thankfully worked.

What do these people gain from this? I hate to think it’s because I have a pride flag profile for pride month but fuck. It’s the first actual toxicity I’ve experienced ingame, everyone has been so nice so far, but this turned me off of public teams altogether. Damn :(

I’m trying to evolve the eevee on my team into an Umbreon. I’ve had them in my team for about a week and I wanted to see how close I was, but it says 0 hours of sleep tracked with them in the evolve screen?? I already looked at posts of a few other people who had the same issue who said that you just need Eevee to be on the team, not the team leader, but nothing works :(

I have never in my life felt at home in my birth country (Australia) and knew from a young age I wanted to leave. As I’ve gotten older and gravitated more towards the ideals and culture of the country I want to live in, Ive felt even worse still living here. I will not be staying the name of the country I wish to move to as I am not interested in people telling me not to go there.

I’ve come to loathe the people here. The slang, the culture, the values, the norms. I don’t say it obviously. But when I do say that I plan to emigrate, they act like I kicked their grandmother.

Im currently working on a degree to help me relocate. I have a plan and a backup plan and a backup plan for my backup plan. But it feels like it’s going to take forever to leave this place. I know it will happen, but the waiting is the worst. How did you all do it?

I just got home from uni and my towel was damp. I showered today - at 8am. I just got home at 8pm, TWELVE HOURS LATER so the towel definitely would have dried off from my shower. The shower door was wide open (he has a habit of not turning the bathroom fan on and just leasing the shower door open) and my towel was warm and damp. The floor was wet too, so I know he showered just before I got home.

I’m fucking disgusted. Its not bad enough that he leaves his gooch grease and pubes on the toilet seat every fucking time he uses it, but now he’s wiping his junk with my towel.

I washed it twice and it’s now in my room drying. I may have to stay living with this guy for a while due to affordability but I’m working on moving out on my own secretly (he is aggressive and I feel unsafe so I don’t want things to escalate if I tell him sooner).

I got a VIP ticket to the Sydney show tomorrow, and I plan to get there a few hours early to line up. I want to get some merch but also get barrier, so I was wondering if they had merch at Melbourne and if it was good stuff? I don’t want to risk not getting barrier for the sake of a shirt that isn’t all that great. Thanks!

Im attending an event at the Enmore in a couple of weeks. However, I’m coming from USYD and as I live in Newcastle, I don’t have time to go home, drop my stuff off and then come back. I only have about 2 hours between class and the event. I have no friends, so nowhere to leave my bag overnight or something.

Does the Enmore have a bag check or cloakroom that I can drop my stuff off at? I’m going home after the event so I just need it to be kept there for the duration of the event.
