Do your worst - tear this apart

Do your worst - tear this apart

My partner and I recently launched a modern style mens golf apparel brand and really want to nail the branding side of things. I think were having some trouble finalizing the copy style , "seriousness" or premium feel of the brand , and what brand message we really want to put out there on ads / content etc. We have a few USP's but trying to decide on 1 message for 1 audience that creates some tension especially as a brand that sells unique products in its industry.

Anyway would love for you guys to tear it apart on the brand side and shoot some holes in it. Whats missing, out of place, etc.

*praying mods let this post since it is NOT us promoting.

New Growing Brand Looking For a Mentor

hey guys!

My cofounder and i just launched a men’s golfwear brand and we’re both going all in full time. We’re bootstrapping it but have some capital to work with, and honestly the early response has been really solid. products are unique/different than what’s out there and people are actually resonating with them + reviews are great.

We’re not just trying to run a storefront + nerd out on meta ads — we actually want to build a real brand that people connect with and stick around for.

feels like what we’re missing right now is a mentor or someone who’s been there before and can help guide us on things like where to allocate spend, dialing in our ad campaigns, email/sms, growing organic through social, when to outsource vs keep things in house, etc. just someone who’s gone through scaling and can help us avoid the obvious mistakes.

not looking for anything super formal, just someone who’s been in it and open to giving guidance. totally willing to pay for the right person too. Low involvement, we just dont want to spend thousands on an agency who has never done it themselves.

if anyone here fits that or knows someone, would really appreciate it 🙏

Product Catalog Ads Lowkey Hit

Title says it all and this reddit page could use more recommendations on what's working versus complaining that META is down the drain. Just launched our men's premium golf apparel brand and we've been putting in a ton of time designing different ad content - testing copy, imagery, etc. for creatives every week. But we noticed the dynamic product catalog ads that we launched in our retargeting campaign were converting cheaper and more often compared to the actual creative designs, so we tested them in our scaling campaign and they've been performing pretty well there too.

If you aren't doing this already and have a Ecom storefront with a product catalog its worth a shot to test it out.

Cheers

Marketing Recs

Hello!

Just starting out with META ads for the med spa that my wife and I opened last month. I have some experience with META ads but wanted to ask anyone who’s had success with them for their aesthetics business what recommendations you had.

Curious about things like certain audiences, campaign settings, ad copy/design, etc.

Anything helps :)

Daily Spend vs CBO

So just launched our premium men's golf brand and right now were running 3 different campaigns - one for scaling with winning ads, one for testing new creatives, and another for retargeting. Retargeting and testing campaigns have a daily budget while main campaign has lifetime budget with CAC goal.

One thing we're noticing is that a good amount of our weekly orders come from the testing campaign with a super low CAC since were running volume creatives with lower spend ($5-$10/day per ad set) Sometimes the CAC is like $20-$30 but our main campaign which consists of "winner" creatives has a CAC goal of $70, lifetime budget of $4.5k across 2 weeks but sometimes doesnt perform as well.

Curious if anyone can help explain why this might be happening? Seems like when we force spend even at such a low amount it converts cheaper than when we allow META to spend hundreds per day on the same ad creatives.

Film Rewind on Olympus mj ii

Very new when it comes to film cameras but hoping someone can help me. I had a 36 count roll in there and was on 24 when I gave it to a friend. When he gave it back it was showing 9. Anyone know how the film could have been rewound? Its the same roll.

Not sure what to do either since It restarted and I dont want to keep talking shots to the end of the same film roll that I already went through. Also not sure how to take it out and send it to be developed since it usually winds itself once the roll is complete.

Thanks!

Google attribution?

Keep seeing Triplewhale label Google as the attribution source for some purchases. We’re on Google shop but the only way people find us right now is through META ads or word of mouth (pretty unlikely since we are a new brand).

It counts for like 20% of our conversion. Anyone know what this might actually be? Our only guess is someone seeing our META ad and then googling us to confirm if we are a legitimate brand.

Thanks

We have 3 campaigns each used for a different purpose. Wondering what part of the funnel should we set up each campaign for and what we should set the audience around?

If you recommend a different setup would love to hear!

*Main campaign - CBO highest spend containing "winning ads

*Retargeting Campaign - Good ads with retargeting copy.

*Testing Campaign - forced daily spend to test creatives in volume. Spend gets increased if CTR/CPM or CAC is trending and looked good.

My wife and I just opened a Med Spa in MA and starting to dabble in META/Google ads. However, we know most new business comes from referrals or getting in front of people in a more engaging way.

Curious to hear what your best marketing hacks/unique strategies for getting new business?

*I'll start - we hired a mobile barista to set up a bar in our Med Spa and pre-paid for 30 coffees ($180) and told her to post on her social pages for all of her customers to see where/when to get a free coffee. We gained a few new bookings from chatting with her customers when they came into the Med Spa to get a free coffee.

We have a testing campaign that tests a bunch of different creatives at a time before we decide which ads are "winners" and can promote to our main CBO campaign/retargeting campaign.

Depending on CTR/CPM some spend anywhere between $1-$20/day forced spend. The only issue is that with such small budgets for some of these creatives META spends most of the budget before noon EST (assuming because that's the cheapest bid strategy ?) BUT most of our customers are West Coast so I know better performance/sales are being left on the table.

Anyone have any recs to help with this?

Been noticing our Welcome Series flow which contains a first order discount isnt immediately getting sent to people who opt into email and SMS. Lately several people have emailed us after placing the order saying they just received the email/text for the discount.

Looking at the klayivo log in their profile it is getting delay. For example customer...

  • completed form & subscribed to email/SMS 10:16p
  • placed order 10:35pm
  • Received welcome email at 11:08pm
  • Received post purchase email at 11:08pm

New to TikTok ads and just starting to make videos to run campaigns with. Seems like the Shopify / TikTok integration is super easy but by the looks of it its limited and im assuming forces all conversions to go through Shopify.

Is it significantly better conversion if you run the ads directly on TikTok ads manager and direct traffic to TikTok Shop?

Thanks

Anyone have a good AI platform for designing ad content? Really looking to just upload examples or ad designs we want to copy and have the AI agent redesign them with our branding, copy, etc. so we can constantly test new creatives without having to redesign them ourselves.

Tried Claude (our go-to) a few times but it always has issues with image placement, cropping, font styles are always off, and it just seems like the amount of time it takes for us to prompt AI to create a design close to what we want is even longer than the time it would take to just design them ourselves.

Hoping to find a good one that help us pump these out. Thanks!

Hello,

My newborn son is 8 weeks and we’re noticing he spits up almost every time we go to burp him. He’s on 4oz right now and we typically burp him twice a feed.

Anyone know of a way to try and limit or prevent spitting up during burping? Feel like sometimes he gets up enough that we should consider giving him another oz

Thanks!

My partner and I are looking to partner with some freelancer models / content creators for our premium men's golf apparel brand. We are interested in UGC but dont necessarily need the models to be a recognizable influencer who might charge higher rates for their social media status and follower count.

Does anyone know of any platforms to find these people? Doesnt even have to be in one country we just want someone affordable (can be low follower count) who looks like they fit the brand and can take some good looking model videos with our products for us to run as ads/tik toks/reels.

Thanks in advance!
