Popup quiz delay vs Klaviyo flow split, anyone solved this?

Our signup popup has a quick quiz, 4 options for what people are shopping for. Klaviyo routes them into 4 different welcome emails based on their pick, each with their discount code + content around their pick.

Problem: the quiz answer writes to the profile separately from the signup event, so sometimes our flow splits before the answer lands, and people get the generic default email instead of the matching one because of the delay.

We added a short 1min delay to help, but still getting people in the default email and don't want to push it much further since a slow discount code probably kills conversion too.

Anyone dealt with an async property plus a Klaviyo split like this? How'd you balance speed vs accuracy?

Best Platform for Designing Email Marketing Campaigns?

Looking for some automation in our email campaigns. We dont have a massive email list yet so we can't hire/outsource our campaign to someone else but curious which platforms people recommended for using AI to design their email campaigns.

We are really trying to keep our brand aesthetic and not just send out basic promotional looking crap. I'm fine with designing things ourselves a bit but ideally a platform that can use different unique and creative email templates for us to plug/play. I havent tried Higgsfield MCP using our claude agents yet either but prefer a platform specifically around campaign templates.

We tried meetallie. ai which its pretty solid but noticed its slightly on the weaker side of design.

TIA!

Shipping question

We just launched in March and have been using DDP pricing from our Asia factory. However we want to become more self reliant on logistics side and getting product to our warehouse so we can just talk pricing of the garments themselves without shipping having to be included or margined.

Wondering what the best way to go about getting this set up? Still new so don’t really have an idea of where to start and our volume is definitely low right now between smaller restocks (50-200pc) and new production (300-700pc)

Thanks!

Dysport pricing

Wondering if the price per vial negotiable or other products from reps? We just started an account with Galderma and our rep mentioned the price per vial of Dysport was $591. I was used to paying $390 per vial of Xeomin prior.

Are these things we should be exploring with other reps, suppliers or asking to negotiable lower rates?

We are new so the order volume isn’t crazy high just yet too if that changes anything.

Thanks!

Best way to measure inventory restock?

Anyone have a good way to gauge how much inventory you should restock. We are smaller so we want to have a fuller catalog but product development takes a bit of time so we keep having to restock current designs in certain sizes/colors while we work on releasing new products.

However we hope to eventually let outdated pieces die out and get replaced as we keep releasing new products but unsure of the timeframes for these. Is there like an industry standard for inventory restocks like X percent of sell through?

Return Policy Notifications

Curious what you guys use for Shopify notifications regarding customer returns? Before posting this we have it set to notifying them 21, 7, and 24 hours before the last day they could ship their items back for a refund. Just changed it to only remind them 7 days before it expires and considering turning them off. Curious if any brands/stores out there are just disabling all notifications?

From a consumer standpoint I know a lot of companies dont notify you to return your items and sometimes you have to find out the hard way your past the 30 day mark. But on the contrary its nice to get a reminder.

What do you do?

**EDIT - were not notifying them to return something if they dont like it. We're notifying customers who have ALREADY initiated a return that they have 7 days left to send the item back if they want the refund. That is the notification in question.

Best way to block customers

Have a customer who places huge orders and then returns everything right before the 30day mark. Our return portal shows he has almost $20k in returns on his Shop account from other brands too.

Anyone know the easiest way to way to block/prevent certain people from being able to place an order?

Thanks!

Experience with Agency's from a Brand Perspective

I'm a founder of a mens apparel brand and have worked with plenty of UGC creators who create content for us for ads, socials, etc. and am trying to understand why creators who work with agency's quote pricing that is absolutely outrageous (I know its the agency quoting and promising more $$). At first we assumed it was just the creators preference > less, more lucrative deals but some of the rates we're seeing for creators without even a large following sent to us by their agency is insane.

Recent examples:

  • 50k followers lifestyle content creator > UGC rates starting at $30k and up
  • 5.3k followers lifestyle content creator > $350 per photo + $500 , 30 day paid usage fee.

At this point we don't even reach out to creators who have an agency email in their bio anymore but Im genuinely so curious if this any creators are experiencing less deals or brands that actually pay these rates? No disrespect on them or the agency but the rates we see across agency quotes are 3-4x for the same content or even less deliverables. Sometimes i see their quote and am baffled and can't help but think they are actually holding these talented creators back from way more deals that could even lead to long term paid partnerships. I hope they are at least transparent to you guys about what they're quoting. One of our first UGC partnerships we did as a brand went from 2 videos to now we do 4 per month + additional content. $1k paid > $3.5k per month

Clothing Brand Photographer

Anyone know of a brand photographer in the clothing industry? We launched a men's golf apparel brand a few months ago and want to find a long term photographer or someone who has experience shooting products (flat lays + on model) shots for apparel brands and access to a studio.

Ideally we send them products to shoot for us as we release new pieces/collections. Location isn't really a concern as long as they have experience in this and resources aka a studio and models (doesnt have to be big scale professional models)

TIA!

Where do you find tiktok UGC creators?

Where do brands actually find TikTok creators to work with for UGC and tiktok shop orders?

The "discover creators" tab on TikTok Shop's affiliate page is pretty useless for us. We've been through hundreds of their "suggestions" and they all seem to be some generic creator clearly just pushing whatever product in every single post with zero brand fit.

Is there a better way to find UGC creators who'll work commission based and actually match your brand, or is manual source/outreach just the only move at this point?

TIA!

Happy to help

My co founder and I started a contemporary style golf apparel brand called Howie Benson in 2024. Custom designs from scratch that took us about a year to finish and launch in March. We’re focusing on scaling the brand while launching new products constantly.

By no means are we rich yet or what you might even consider “successful” but we’re pumped to be where we are at today (currently $15k in monthly rev and growing, getting a lot of happy/repeat customers coming back, building and establishing a brand identity)

Happy to help anyone out who has questions or wants some advice! Been there before and actually got some sound guidance from Reddit ourselves.

**disclaimer - WON’T share any supplier info

Should We Abandone Email Marketing?

We're a clothing brand startup (launched in March, currently $12k/mo rev) working with a solid agency who runs our META ads + email marketing. They are performing well so far on META but email side of things has extremely poor performance. The designs they create are super underwhelming and lack any creative/on-brand visuals while pushing heavy towards promotional copy and designs.

We're paying them $1k/mo for about 7-8 emails per month but so far we've seen terrible ROAS from them and email returns in general when we were sending better designed emails ourselves prior.

As a new brand we are considering dropping their email service and just putting that money towards better META ad creatives (UGC, influencer posts, photo shoots, etc) THEN, once we get to a comfortable spot financially and higher volume email sign-ups we reintroduce emails campaigns with a better team that can design better email campaigns that convert.

Is it stupid to temporarily stop email marketing at an early stage? I know email should account for like 30% of our revenue channel but I dont think we have the volume for that right now and its accounted for like maybe 2% as of today.

UGC / creator platform

Hoping this doesn’t get spammed by promotional AI bots but Does anyone have a platform used to find and connect with UGC / micro-influencer they recommend?

Seen a few on meta ads but when I would do some research they had poor reviews from both creators and brands.

Thanks!

Free Shipping Discount being used on 2nd Day Air

We created a shopify discount code in Klayvio for free shipping on your first order and set a maximum amount but noticed its being applied to the 2nd day air shipping option. We only have 2 shipping options via UPS (ground + 2nd day air) And want to limit the discount code to only allow ground shipping.

**We tried capping the shipping amount that would be allowed to $15 but 1.) some people went to place large orders where just ground shipping costs $20+ and 2.) Still noticed people would bypass their $7 ground shipping option and select the 2nd day air option at $14.75 so it didnt prevent anything.

Is there a way to only allow for our free shipping discount code to be applied to ground shipping somehow?

thanks!

More feed?

My son is almost 4mo and weighs about 11.5lbs and we feed him 5oz during the day except for his last bedtime feed we give him about 6oz.

Noticing he keeps waking in the middle of the night at the same time hungry around 130a-2a. Hes pretty good at showing hunger cues so we know he wants to eat and isn’t just fussy or needs to be put back down.

Anyone have recs on how to get him to sleep through the night like he was doing for weeks up until now? Consider upping his feeds during the day to 6oz and 7 at night.

Deadstock Fabric Marketplace

Is that a thing or does anyone know of a way to source deadstock fabrics? Asking because we are not at the level of customizing/developing our own fabrics yet and having some trouble finding in-stock fabrics that fit what we're looking for.

Curious if theres a marketplace or somewhere to source deadstock fabrics that other brands/mills have developed and no longer need.

Thanks

Your Best Ad Creative

Hey guys!

My wife and I are diving into META ads right now. We have a couple on there that have yielded 1 booking so far. Wondering if anyone would be nice enough to share some examples of their best performing ad creative or what type of ad designs yield the most new clients.

We have landing pages with the correct CTA's for all of the ads we will be launching so we are just focusing on the top of funnel creatives right now.

Thanks!

Folders From One Shared Drive to Another

Trying to move some of our documents between shared drive. I have a shared drive with our photographer and want to add these to the shared drive we have with our marketing team. It wont let me drag an entire folder from a shared drive to another drive and we have so many files within that it would take forever to download and reupload.

Anyone know a way to copy and send these over so we can have all the folders in both shared drives?
