I remember TikTok in 2019, someone from Netherlands could reach easily US/Japan audiences and it was easier to find people from other countries. Since 2022 its not the same anymore, its harder to reach the american audience if you are from europe. But somehow americans reach people in europe easier. Why is the algorithm so bad nowadays?

I really love our new Lara Croft, especially her voice actress. To me, she truly feels like Lara Croft brought to life, not just because of her performance but because of the values she represents. She speaks openly against war, mourns the loss of innocent children, advocates for peace and dignity for Palestinians, and isn't afraid to question the growing role of AI and its consequences.

What I admire most is that her compassion extends beyond the character she plays. She embodies the courage, empathy, and strong moral compass that I associate with Lara Croft herself.

It also reminds me of Angelina Jolie. After portraying Lara Croft, she became heavily involved in humanitarian work and eventually adopted a child. Seeing another Lara Croft actress use her platform to raise awareness for human suffering and stand up for what she believes in makes the character feel even more meaningful. To me, that spirit of empathy and responsibility is part of what Lara Croft represents.

Why is there no shooter game like Battlefield, The Division or Killzone with actual living streets full of civilians?

Imagine playing Team Deathmatch or a story mission while the city is packed with NPCs running, screaming, hiding, reacting to explosions and helping each other. You can’t hurt them without consequences.

In story mode you would have to calm civilians down, protect them and guide them to safety while fighting enemies.

In multiplayer civilians could panic and accidentally run into crossfire, so players would need to push them out of the way instead of shooting through them. Killing NPCs gives you negative karma that slowly affects your character mentally, like worse aim, shakier recoil control or blurred vision over time.

Most shooters feel dead outside of the combat itself. A system like this would make wars actually feel chaotic and human.

For me, Era 1 is still Kim Petras’ best body of work. The project captures that dreamy late-90s and early-2000s pop feeling perfectly while still sounding fresh and unmistakably Kim. The synths, melodies, and glossy production all work together with her voice in a way that feels effortless.

Hillside Boys is one of the strongest songs she has ever made. The nostalgic summer atmosphere, the romantic escapism, and Kim’s airy vocals blend together beautifully. Her voice floats over the production instead of competing with it, which gives the song a warm, cinematic feeling. Even years later, it still sounds timeless. The song was released as part of Era 1 in 2017. 

That’s why I personally think Era 1 is better than Clarity, Feed the Beast, and Problématique/Detour-era material. Those projects have great songs, but Era 1 feels the most cohesive, authentic, and magical. Tracks like Heart to Break, Can’t Do Better, I Don’t Want It At All, and Hillside Boys represent Kim Petras at her absolute peak. Many fans still regard these songs among her strongest work, with Heart to Break and Hillside Boys consistently ranking near the top of fan discussions.

I am considering to move to japan next year. how hard is it to find a job there? and cheap housing? I was thinking of kyushu/osaka.

I have noticed that men tend to speak with less words and everyone is ok with that. everyone is satisfied with that. meanwhile as woman I have to be talkative , speak a lot or else, I am considered „not social“ „shy“ „hard to build a connection with“ Its frustrating. I really think men have it easier with building a friendship or new connections, the expectations arent as high for them.
