I’ve been extremely biased towards horror movies my entire life…
So much that ive not seen most of any movie of any other genre. I decided to start exploring comedies. Today I randomized Titles beginning with the letter A from 2004, and chose this.

So I decided to do this a few days ago and I generated one missed call. I didn’t watch it because I had plans change. Come today i decide to try this again, I generate one missed call again. Absolutely astronomical odds against that. For reference i randomize a year first, then I randomize 1-27 representing # + A-Z. Then I pick a horror movie under that letter. That’s a 2% chance on top of a 3.7% chance. 1 in 1351. When I got O in 2008 again I knew I needed to watch this.
Im not sure why though because it was not that great. The pacing was good, it kept busy and it wasn’t ever really boring. I appreciated the atmosphere it provided and the ghosts & dolls were pretty cool. But my goodness the movie was just so corny. So cliche, predictable and low effort. I liked the cast, and there were some funny moments (so bad it’s good) and also some genuinely good scenes at the end that worked for me. (The final reveal that brings a lot of clarity to the situation) overall this movie was just a half decent B hotel movie.

Feels like rebirth or cleansing, empowerment, freedom, creativity. Ok I’m probably getting a little out of hand but I love these fucking guys! Haha
Still probably one of the albums lowest on my ranking for them but like I’m in love with it. I love AFI I love how genuine they are. I feel connected with that after years of following them. They’ve provided me with so much inspiration and sparked my drive on so many occasions.
Through our bleeding we are one feels real. Through my struggles I find strength in this music! This band is exceptional to me! A hidden gem! Maybe it’s just that i don’t involve myself with other bands much, or maybe they just are absolutely peak!!! Idk either way I wish all my fellow AFI fans a good day and I wish you well and I hope you can do something to affect the world in a positive way as well! Much love ! 🩸 🔥 ❤️
