Im watching the entire franchise through right now to do a proper ranking. I just have the DGG trilogy left.

Here are my favorite things about the first 10 movies

1978

- The Kid running into Michael’s arms was an awesome scene

- the chase scene was awesome, and all of the final portion of the movie is amazing.

1981

- The first 30 mins of this movie is legendary. The opening scene,

- Michael roaming the town in the shadows after escaping Loomis

- picking up his knife in the old woman’s house

- Loomis really shining as a character that rivals myers in value to the franchise

- that scene where the kids with the radio walks into Michael

- Bud being hilarious in the lunch room

- nurse kill with scalpel and the chase scene when Laurie is running through hospital. Theres a lot to like here

Season of the witch

- The scene where Cochran has chalis tied up and says happy Halloween while the OG Score plays in the background. Cochran in general for being an awesome super charismatic villain

H4

- The beginning of Loon Loomis

- Jamie’s bullies terrorizing her saying “every days Halloween at Jamie’s house” “Jamie’s mommy’s a mummy” “Jamie’s an orphan, Jamie’s an orphan” always found those chirps to be hilarious

- kids leaving Loomis in the dust and then Loomis being picked up by the super religious Armageddon hunter.

- Jamie killing her stepmom at the end, classic ending.

H5

- Loomis turning full loon and giving abusive grandpa vibes

- House stalking of Rachel was genuinely creepy

- Mikey being a hilarious douche boyfriend

- Laundry shoot/Attic scene being genuinely scary

- Loomis Luring Michael and using Jamie as bait

H6

- Deborah: “John something terrible has happened” John: “What do you want now Deborah?” Lololol John being the biggest prick of all time and treating everyone like shit

- Deborah being 90% victim while having a 10% subtle touch of insanity

- Michael Kills Deborah with the Axe

- Classroom Scene where Molly and Laurie are having a discussion about fate

- Laurie hitting the fence controls with a rock locking herself in to face Michael

- Movie just being very well made and consistent throughout

- Laurie killing Michael with the axe at the end

- Ronnie being absolutely hilarious with his shit talk. Michael comes down and says “morning boo” to the baby, and Ronnie mocks him in a funny voice “morning booo”

- Michael getting his overalls from the legendary Joe Grizzly

- Moment when Laurie finds Annie bloody on the floor is powerful

- Scary moments and short chase after Laurie stabs Michael and then runs into pool

- Rob Zombie being just generally under appreciated in my opinion because of his style. But I think he’s very good, just someone who you sometimes need to take in small servings.

H2 (2009)

- Michael killing those pricks who attacked him with the baseball bat in the field

- Laurie finding Annie again on the ground again emotionally powerful

- Laurie’s friend having realization that she’s stuck in the path of Michael myers and running out into hallway in a full disoriented panicc

I guess they bypassed verification because I just got an email about a login from a new device un a different state. They followed a shit ton of people.

I can’t get in because I don’t know password and I don’t have verification options. It’s from like 10-15 years ago so the selfie is not recognizable apparently. I was unsuccessful in getting back into my account but instagram says they locked it.

Can a hacker that can get into it in the first place also get it unlocked? What can I do to protect my account?

I just walked into my bathroom and there is a little stink bug sitting on the wall. Size of the tip of my finger. I was just thinking “im not gonna hurt ya bud” cuz if that was me I’d probably be afraid considering I am thousands of times bigger than it.

I love the concept. I love the scene where the main character is in some tiny dark room with his therapist at a dinner table in the backrooms and she meets his monster. I love how the monster looks sad, since a lot of what creates monsters is trauma and not necessarily a desire to do wrong. I love how there seems to be so much to explore with the rooms themselves but also the psychological meanings that come with it.

It was a weird feeling because I left this movie saying fuck yeah this is awesome, but I feel like there’s so much more to learn and explore. So im dissatisfied but genuinely optimistic. Also the characters were great, loved their personalities.

Feels like a movie that could spawn many sequels but at the same time I want them to be a continuation of what we got in part 1. Like one long movie. (Im thinking Halloween + Halloween 2) Not a bunch of rip off money grabs. Quality. Not a movie that tries to out do part 1 but something that honors and expands upon the journey.

Out of curiosity, What is the best movie in the franchise? I have a lot of nostalgia attached to Scary Movie 2, and to me that is my favorite without question. But ive never actually seen part 1 or 5. 3,4,6 I remember having enjoyable experiences with but to me part 2 is amazing. Im just curious if part 2 is seen as the best or if part 1 is or maybe even some other movie in the franchise.

It was a lovely little movie. Seeing my favorite actor mark duplass in it was a lovely little surprise. I really enjoy the psychological themes it was using , but I didn’t fully understand the points it was making but I felt like I was kind of understanding the direction they were taking just not having a crystal clear understanding of the message. It was good though, did you like it?

I know of a person who has been targeting people. He has been attempting to set people up in fraud scenarios. He runs a large foundation, but apparently is using it to his advantage to manipulate others. He’s been caught already using other peoples email addresses and names to make small purchases. He is abusing his power and influence to engage in a lot of different criminal activities. I’d like to have someone look into him how much would it cost?
