[Alton Towers] Fast pass really disappointed me. Complete and utter waste of money.

We went to AT last week during our trip to the UK, and the place is fantastic - beautiful, amazing coasters, good food, etc.

But the lines were horrendous so while waiting in line at the first ride of the day, we bit the bullet and bought the unlimited fast passes for our entire family. It was a LOT of money ($500 USD for 4 people). Worth it to get on lots of rides versus waiting in long lines for hours and doing 3 rides..

Anyway - every single coaster line combined the fast passes with single rider and disability. So people who paid NOTHING were getting in as fast as we were. And I understand that the disability folks then have to wait out that amount of time after, combining all of these three groups of people into a single line meant that oodles of single riders got on long before those of us with the fast passes, because they still got on first. They would simply pivot between our line and the regular line in regular intervals. So let on a dozen 'regular' folks, then a dozen people from our line. Meaning our line went no faster than the regular line. Which is fine if it's all fast pass people but it was like 80% single riders.

It really soured our day. First park I've ever been that did this nonsense. We could have saved all that money adn gotten on the EXACT number of rides with the EXACT same waiting times. The only difference would have been if we sat togther. That's not worth $500.

Weird issue - the screenshot notification I'm getting for my cameras for the last few days has not been correct - it's showing me an old photo from the nighttime (it's 12 noon right now). Any way to fix this?

It's really bugging me. Thanks

Those airplane foot hammocks - with or without the rigid bottom?

I've never used one, but have long flights coming up and they look like they might add some comfort to the trip.

But they come in two flavors - ones without a rigid bottom, so they conform your feet, and those with a rigid bottom.

Which are better and more comfortable?

Thanks!

Every time I open the app, pretty much, for the past week or two..

Android, Pixel 10 Pro.. is this happening to anyone else? Minor annoyance, but annoying nonetheless

Bluetooth - any way for our vehicles to NOT connect automatically when they turn on?

So my partner listens to audiobooks when they're alone in the car. But what happens every day is that whichever vehicle ***I drive*** automatically connects to their phone, which means either I get connected to their phone calls or audio (annoying obviously), the source automatically switches from Sirius to Bluetooth (annoying, requiring me to manually switch back every time I get in the car), or the car pops up messages as I'm leaving saying it can't connect to their Bluetooth and I have to click the screen to dismiss (again, annoying. Thanks Nissan)

Is there a way to keep the pairing but not have the phone connect until and unless it's wanted? We have three vehicles that I usually drive mostly and it's annoying in all of them. Been like this through different phones and different vehicles for ages and I'm ready to finally seek out a solution!

Is there any hope for help for this? Thanks all

Is my battery affected? (RadCity). Thanks!

Hoping that people smarter than me can help me determine whether this battery is part of the risk. Thank you!

I'm going to Six Flags all day and then the Eagles concert this coming Saturday. Can I leave my car and walk? I assume parking is a nightmare at the stadium . . I'd love some insight even if we do need to park at the stadium. Thanks!

Used Genesis EV's - what's the battery warranty exactly? Confused whether it's 5 or 10 years. Let me explain:

I have been pondering an extended warranty, and was about to buy the "official" platinum plan until I saw that they completely exclude the battery! That's the most expensive part of our vehicles.

But looking through the warranty, it seems like the battery might retain it's 10 year coverage. Every other place in the warranty, it'll mention how it's 10 years but subsequent owners get 5 years. But not when discussing the EV battery.......

https://owners.genesis.com/genesis/us/mygenesis/manuals/factory-warranty/2023/2023-Owners-Handbook-and-Warranty-Information-GIA.pdf

PAGE 26:

> WARRANTY PERIOD >
> The Warranty period for the following ELECTRIC VEHICLE SYSTEM components is limited to 10 years from the date of original retail delivery or date of first use, or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first.* >
> The Lithium ion Battery ("EV Battery") warranty covers any warrantable repairs that occur during the warranty coverage period. If your battery requires warranty service and if possible the EV battery components will be repaired or replaced and the original EV Battery will be returned to the vehicle. If necessary, the EV Battery will be replaced with either a new or refurbished Lithium ion Battery.

I've got a two weeks long vacation coming up and I'd rather not ask anyone to mess with the litter if at all possible.

I have two LR4 with the litter hoppers, and they usually need emptying and refilling about every 11 days. Any way to stretch both of those a little bit? Any settings I can change temporality
