Chargeback

Legit online US based casino. $3K. I’ve read a lot about people having luck with offshore but wondering about US based.

I had to take image of my ID and scan face, so seems like I might be fucked. Is it even worth trying?

Started 25 mg, now sunburn-like feeling!

I’ve read some other posts and it sounds like a relatively uncommon side effect but one others have experienced. Has been happening for about a week now on outer thighs, lower back, and back of arms near my wrists.

Any advice? Does it go away with time? It’s rather uncomfortable!

What dosage did you start to make progress?

1 month on 1.5 mg and 1 month on 4.0 mg. Have an appointment on Wednesday with my PCP - hoping she will increase me to 9.0 mg but I’m only down like 3 lbs :/

Day 2

Really was tempted to place a sports wager yesterday that would have lost so glad I didn’t

While I’m down pretty bad it can’t get worse if I don’t place anything going forward

Relapsed after 4 days.. :(

I have been trying to close one of my accounts. They refuse to close it.

Edit: to me this is predatory as shit to begin with. I posted about this on that particular apps sub and everyone was just shitting on me about how I need to just control myself

I logged in to check my ticket to see if they finally closed it. They didn’t, but I had $700 in my account. Cool - right? I think they gave me money back for the issue with their platform that caused losses during an outage that I had been fighting support on.

I have the option to withdraw it but it’s free money - nothing to lose, right? I wagered it, lost, then came to learn it was my money. I initiated a withdrawal several days ago, they declined it, and it was my money going back into my account.

So now I realize I’m down $700 when I thought I was playing with free money. I can’t let that happen so I deposit $1,000 to make my $700 back. Lost it.

Devastated. I feel the need to make it back. Fucking hate myself.

26 y/o down $25K my mortgage payment is due in a few days and now I’m going to have to sell my retirement savings to pay it :(

Two checks gone in a matter of 10 minutes.

While a lot if I could just fucking quit betting I think I can recover over time.

Fully anticipating this to be met with “get help” comments but ending it all gets more tempting every day…

Pay Mortgage or Invest in Market?

26 y/o owe $200K on the mortgage at 6.125%. (property worth $400K). $85K in retirement (VTI/VXUS in Roth, S&P 500 in 401k). Income $92K. Currently contributing about 14% to retirement.

I guess it comes down to if I think the market will beat 6.125%? I don’t have a crystal ball so I think I like the idea of paying the mortgage but making sure that makes sense. I’ll be taking the standard deduction so I don’t think interest being deductible is relevant.

Thanks in advance!

Do you all invest in individual stocks?

Day 3 no gambling.

I’ve always purchased the market (VT/VTI/VXUS/S&P) in my retirement accounts. There’s a specific stock I’m wanting to invest 5% of my portfolio in that I think has potential to beat the market but my fear is this will spark gambling in my retirement account, which would obviously not be good. Stocks/trading has not traditionally been my method of gambling (it has been sports/predictive markets) but I also fear it could become an issue

Do you all successfully buy individual stocks or just the market?

Edit: now that I’m thinking about it is investing in the market a form of gambling in itself?

How do I close my account..?

Google says I have to chat Support, but I can’t create a ticket and the one I made 8 days ago hasn’t received a response.

I have a gambling addiction and just donated $3K to this app and I can’t figure out how to close my account…

This seems predatory as hell I can’t close my account or limit my deposits with an addiction.

The ads reel me in and then I’m fucked from there. Does anyone have advice on getting rid of ads? It’s so predatory. Cigarette ads aren’t allowed but every ad I get is gambling why isn’t it the same..

Mentally chasing losses

Trying to accept a $2k loss. I deposited $1.5k I was going to chase with but am trying my best not to. Before the Reds Yankees game started I called Yankees to win. While not over it looks like it’ll hit (96%). Then before Brazil Haiti match I called 1h goal, which did occur. I would have made like $1k back if I did chase.

I’d be better off if I did chase - while not actually placing bets I’m mentally calling what I think will occur and seeing that I’m in a worse spot because I didn’t chase is fucking me up. Any advice?

It feels like I can’t just enjoy sports - I’m watching and thinking how I shot myself in the foot by not betting it.

Pet Insurance Cost Growing Exponentially

I have had a plan with AKC for several years. At first it was like $40 / month for my 2 dogs, now this upcoming policy year it’s about $100. It has been growing exponentially for years.

Am I just SOL? I would look at switching but my biggest concern is everything then becoming an uncovered preexisting condition that AKC would cover but another provider would not..

Edit: one dog is 4 the other 7 years old

Relapsed. Want to end it all.

I’m so fucking tired of this addiction. I was up $2k now I’m down $2k. I can not afford this. Lifetime probably down $15k and I do not make a lot of money. I feel physically ill and disgusting.

I manage to close one app but there’s always another willing to take my money..

It’s been years of fighting addiction now.. all started when online gambling became legal and I wanted to make some “free” money from the sign up bonuses then quit because I’m frugal. This “free” money has been the most expensive purchase of my life.. so much I could do with $15k

▲ 2 r/Affirm

Do purchases show as pending instantly on account?

Made my first purchase using Affirm today for about $3K but I don’t see it on my account.. would have expected it to show as pending if nothing else

Apple Pay -> Affirm -> 6Mo Plan Pay w/ Bank

Edit: Merchant claims no issue on their end. Nothing under Manage tab on Affirm.
