Do you feel annoyed on Sunday evening at the thought of needing to go to work the next day?

Most of us working adults work on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and have our weekends as off days.

I do feel annoyed when it is Sunday evening because I have to start working again the next day.

I hope I am not the only one who feels annoyed.

Can I perform sadhana or upasana of a Devata at home but not visit temples?

I have not taken deeksha before and I don't have a Guru.

Can I perform sadhana or upasana of a Devata at home but not visit temples?

Why I am asking this is that sadhana or upasana if done daily can take up to a few hours. As a working adult in overseas country, most temples are far away from my home.

Hence, I was wondering if performing sadhana or upasana at home is sufficient for spiritual progress.

Will I still able to progress spiritually by doing so?

Do you iron your polo tee shirts?

I am a guy in my mid-thirties.

I understand that dress shirts, long sleeve shirts and short sleeve shirts will be ironed.

But I am curious to know if most men iron their polo tee shirts.

My polo tee shirts are slightly creased after taking out from laundry.

And I feel uncomfortable to wear the slightly creased shirt without ironing.

Do you iron your polo tee shirts?

I am sorry if my question sounds silly. It's just that I have social anxiety and I am quite self-conscious about my appearance in public. I don't want to be a weirdo in public wearing the slightly creased shirt in a silly way.

Can we still take up another sadhana or upasana if we don't feel satisfied with our current spiritual practice?

I have not taken deeksha before and I don't have a Guru.

Can we still take up another sadhana or upasana if we don't feel satisfied with our current spiritual practice?

Example. If we are currently practising sadhana or upasana of Lord Rama and we don't feel satisfied with our current spiritual practice, can we still take up another sadhana or upasana of Lord Bhairava?

I apologize if my question sounds wrong.

Should we just accept the Guru's decision to initiate us to mantra deeksha on an inauspicious day?

I have not taken deeksha before and I don't have a Guru.

I desire to take mantra deeksha from a Guru in the future.

My concern is that if the Guru chooses to initiate us to mantra deeksha on an inauspicious days like Ashtami, Navami, or Chaturdashi Tithi days, can we request the Guru to change the initiation date to another date?

Should we just accept the Guru's decision to initiate us to mantra deeksha on an inauspicious day?

Is it okay if the Guru initiates to mantra deeksha on an inauspicious day?

My concern is that mantra deeksha is a lifelong commitment and that it will be nice to get the mantra deeksha commencement on an auspicious day.

I apologize if there are any immature thoughts in my post. I am a beginner.

Can an imperfect person take up mantra deeksha or upasana first and then slowly become perfect?

Can an imperfect person take up mantra deeksha or upasana first and then slowly become perfect as he advances in his upasana or mantra deeksha?

I understand using the words perfect and imperfect sound ambiguous.

What I mean by imperfect person is a person who has uncontrollable lust , jealousy over other people, bad anger, desires over materialistic things like movies etc.

Can such a person qualify to take up mantra deeksha or upasana first and then slowly overcome these bad habits as he advances in his upasana or mantra deeksha?

Or should the person overcome these bad habits first and then take up mantra deeksha or upasana?

Do you agree with Jordan Peterson's view about finding the right person?

I saw one video whereby Jordan Peterson says the following:

"And you think the right person will come around? Well first of all, that's a delusion to begin with. Because you build a relationship. You don't find one. Now, you should have some sense when you pick your partner tot the degree that you have the luxury to have some sense but the notion that the person right for you will come along at the right time. That's just not the case. That isn't how things work at all."

Do you agree with Jordan Peterson's view that there is no such thing as the right person will come around?

Can a person perform Vatuka Bhairava Upasana lifelong?

I have not taken deeksha before and I don't have a Guru.

I have noticed that many people worship Vatuka Bhairava as a "pre-requisite" for other upasanas like Devi Upasana.

I am curious to know if Vatuka Bhairava Upasana can be performed as its own lifelong.

Are pajamas and nightgowns still commonly worn by adults in America to sleep at night?

I apologize if my question sounds silly.

When I mention pajamas and nightgowns, it's like those worn by the characters Darrin Stephens and Samantha Stephens to bed in the 1960s TV series Bewitched.

Here is a link to the picture: https://preview.redd.it/which-tv-series-first-have-married-people-sleeping-in-a-v0-2k6eqaeomwkg1.jpeg?width=1124&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e46346d543176f056a2f76360d65aba37d782f35

Can we change our deeksha Guru if we do not receive any spiritual experiences after a year?

I have not taken deeksha before and I don't have a Guru.

I desire to take a mantra deeksha from a Guru.

I have a question:

Can we change our deeksha Guru if we do not receive any spiritual experiences after a year?

Why I am saying this is because there are so many fake Gurus around and it is not easy to spot them at initial stages.

My concern is that if I never receive any spiritual experiences after taking mantra deeksha, maybe it might be due to taking deeksha from a fake Guru.

But I also understand that it can also be my fault and my flaws that I never receive any spiritual experiences after taking mantra deeksha.

Can we change our deeksha Guru if we do not receive any spiritual experiences after a year?

Edit: Spiritual experiences like darshan of the Devata in one's dream, miracles in life, miracles in puja like the naivedya offered to the Devata getting slightly reduced etc.
