Upstairs neighbors and I moved in the same day 4 days ago. And i've been woken up at 6am 3 out of the 4 days to their dogs running, jumping, fighting and barking. I've also heard the neighbors screaming at them for fighting. My husband and I work nights so I already want to move again, because this is hell.

My husband went upstairs to ask them to try to keep them out of the rooms in the mornings so we could sleep longer and she said they can open doors?? Even though its a door knob so im not sure how that works. She also said she crates them most of the day which I think is cruel, and ive only seen her take them out once in the 4 days we've been here. The rental application says no huskies on the list of unauthorized dogs so I'm unsure how they even have them in the first place.

If anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it, ive emailed the rental company but im not sure they'll do anything. Im hoping they will because this is not sustainable, ive had like 12 hours of sleep in 4 days and im already at my wits end. Can I break the lease for this?

I work at a grocery store at today and elderly man came in to buy gift cards- already a red flag. It became even more suspicious that he tried to buy 3, $200 gift cards (but our system flags it) so he could only get 2 from one checker. Then he comes into my line with a handful more of the same gift card (razer gold).

So I call my manager over because now I knew he was getting scammed and he threw a fit, said he wasn't going to leave until we called the police. And said it was to "pay for a vacation".

So does anyone know what kind of scam this is? Or is this just what the scammer told him to say?

Edit: I know its a scam. I was wondering what kind, but romance seems the most likely.
