Looking for a nickel free water bottle that's insulated and keeps water cold
Thanks.
Thanks.
I'm looking to start a 1 year full-time course starting August in Scotland. I'm 46, single parent and want to improve my skills while continuing working as before. Child is 16 now, so I want to do something for myself. I'm self-employed, so hoping that adjusting my hours will work out, keeping everything the same. I hope I'll get a grant, but not looking into getting a loan. Will this be a problem with UC?
I work in the beauty industry and thinking of renting one of these little rooms in buildings around Central Station. It's only really since the fire that I found out how many little business units there were that sadly got affected. I guess since social media you don't need street visibility anymore...
I'm looking for advice where these buildings are and how I can enquire about renting a space. I saw something on Rightmove, but not much. So wondering if there are more direct routes.
Also, has anyone experience renting a space like this?
Edit: also interested in spaces on the Southside.
These are cheap Temu nails and I put 2 layers of regular top coat on top. I'm new to press on and these are my 1st short ones. Not hating them, but I think longer ones are more fun. Still better than painting my plain nails.
I'm so confused. Tried to make a same day GP appointment, but it was closed. Checked online, didn't see a bank holiday listed. Went in today, asked 'are you closed on mondays now?' Lady said 'No, it was a bank holiday.' I just checked again, not listed. Yes, I checked for Scotland, not England. Am I going crazy?
Made a GP appointment, but just wondering if anyone can help.
I had thrush a month ago, took one of these tablets (and clotrimazole cream), and another one a week later cos it never goes straight away, but then I thought it went.
About a week ago I thought it's coming back, got another thrush tablet yesterday. It just feels different this time I have no idea what this is. It feels 'inflamed' more on the inside, maybe inside the cervix or uterus. A tiny bit of cottagey discharge, but no smell. I take the pill without a break, so I don't normally get any bleeding or discharge.
I'm 46, so I'm wondering if this could be to do with perimenopause, but don't really think so?
Not sexually active, so not and STD, not pregnant.
Had a cyst removed years ago, but didn't feel any symptoms then, so hope it's not that. If it was something even worse, I guess I'd have other symptoms? Don't have any.
Could this be just a bacterial infection god knows from where? I think my hygiene is really good and I haven't changed any products. Could this be resolved with antibiotics? Or a first try at least? Never had anything like this before.
Who is doing Keto for migraines and how is it going? I'm starting again along with a bunch of supplements that have already helped. Just curious how quickly and how much has it helped?................
I did read through the notes and I think I've seen it somewhere, but can't find it now. Is there anywhere that sells the whole package: botox, saline solution, and needle all together?
The NYT has an article on the new trend of "nude nails." Different people interviewed (and in the comments) suggest it is a high status trend (like "quiet luxury"), an anti-immigrant and racist trend, or a recession indicator.
What do you think?
Link is to a gift article (no paywall).
Newbie. Want to experiment with different ways of making the nails last. Please give me your glue and tabs methods that keep the nails on for a long time.

They haven't arrived yet and it doesn't say in the description. I watched a video where a girl was curing similar ones.
Are stickers for curing and not curing different from each other or do you pick whether you want to cure?
Retail Brand: Temu
People in the UK, what type of alcohol are you using to dehydrate the nails?

Salon nails are expensive, take ages to do and they are difficult to remove by yourself.
Pressons are getting better and better.
Personally, I think it's simply because a lot of people haven't gotten onto the idea yet. But I think they will, maybe nail salons will eventually die out?
What do you think? No shade, just curious.

New to this. I want nails with flowers that are not painted on but glued on with plastic. The best place I found is Etsy, but it's slightly out of my price range. I think on Temu they use AI to make the nails look better than they are, and often the 3d effect is only painted on.
Is Shein any better? Any other chinese stores? What other options are there (UK)? I want to try a cheaper option till I work out what I like and then invest in some nice handmade ones.

Looking for SPF30 and 5* UVA protection. Thanks.
I spent 4 years drinking from a metal cup with a metal straw, day and night. 3 months ago I got diagnosed with a nickel allergy, but my vermillion border is still as inflamed as ever. Especially after I eat anything. I don't think it's a specific food allergy. It gets really itchy and red. Also tried using a wooden fork (instead of metal), but it didn't make a difference. Never had any filler. It calms down if I put hydrocortisone or ointment on it, but never heals. Can anyone help?
I'm coming on here to try and solve this for my 16 year old daughter, please help me understand.
First question. Is it possible to be neurodivergent, only struggle with dermatillomania, but show no other symptoms of autism or ADHD? Either that for my daughter or she isn't on the spectrum at all.
Can anyone relate to the following and give me pointers as to what to read up and what to say to the GP, because I don't want to be sent away with 'it's just stress':
She really enjoys breaking things for the sensory feeling (no aggression). When she was a baby, she used to chew her dummy/ pacifier apart. As an older child she likes breaking pencils, coathangers, ripping pockets of jackets... also broke a watch and bluetooth speaker for the fun of it.
That combined with the fact that she never understood when something fun was over. Used to scream when it was time to come off the bouncy castle or the carousel ride was over. We went to watch a kids show and she screamed for hours when it was over. (Age 2-3)
Later on when a playdate was over or even now she hates saying bye to her friend. She doesn't like missing out on something, but something ending is worse. When other kids are over, they always leave when it's dinner time around 6pm, when my daughter is out she always asks to stay longer till 8, 8.30. 9, she never wants to accept the final time I tell her and tries pushing it later.
Then I think about her relationship with food. A normal meal she'll eat and stop when she's full, but when she has sweets/candy she'll eat it till it's all gone, even if she gets sick to full for dinner. Her weight is within the norm, she goes to the gym, but sometimes I think that's only the case because of her fear of being overweight and others being cruel to her.
When she has money usually after Christmas or birthday I try and put a little bit into her savings, but the majority she'll spend mainly on sweet treats.
Can anyone relate to this? This disorder comes from somewhere, I'd go as far as saying nature/genetics as opposed to thinking it just started for no reason. I don't want to be disrespectful, but I also don't think stress or trauma triggers it, because I had a lot of it in my life, and I have not started any bad habits.
So I basically think she has trouble regulating her reward centre in her brain. I pick a spot sometimes, it feels nice when it's gone, but then I just stop and I don't really understand how someone cannot.
I think there is a disregulation in the brain, the combination of seeking pleasure and not knowing when to stop. I might have just invented addiction lol, but can anyone relate to this? I'm a bit scared for her future, for when the adult fun starts.
My 16 year old daughter has been picking for 4 years and after many failed attempts of being nice or not nice about it she now has to get long nails.
She has smallish hands, please advice what is best. Also for maintenance, because they will have to be refilled.
For the length I'm thinking at least 1cm/half an inch?
If anyone has any other advise, I appreciate it. We covered up mirrors in the bathroom (not in her room, she ripped it of).
Has putting ointment on the skin helped anyone, to make picking less pleasant, we haven't tried that yet?
We have a gp appointment in a few weeks, could she be on the spectrum? She is very 'normal', but has always enjoyed the sensation of breaking things, like pencils and coat hangers. When she was a baby she chewed her dummy to bits.
She had gotten better it seemed in the last 3 months when I became really strict, but then I discovered she picked secret places where she thinks I won't see.
I switched suppliers. On the left is Coq10 Ubiquinol on the right my new supply of Ubiquinone. Is it really that inferior? I couldn't feel much from the Ubiquinol, except once I took it without food and it made me dizzy. I'm taking it for migraines, so hoping for a long term effect. The internet tells me that Ubiquinone converts to Ubiquinol when taken with a meal. Anyone got 1st hand experience with this?
