Do you know someone who you feel like would complain no matter the situation?

Meaning they are never satisfied and nothing is ever good enough for them to the point where it is draining, or they complain about this one day and then it gets handled, then they complain about something else, like the goalposts continue to be changed.

Do you believe in today's day and age if you have to ask if someone is attracted to you, most of the time they aren't?

I know sometimes people can reach for signs due to desperation and all that stuff, but I also can see the argument that some people won't show too much if they are already in a relationship, unsure where you stand, etc.

What does it mean from your perspective for someone to have had a hard life growing up?

Meaning what are your ideas/examples of a hard life? One could obviously argue life is hard in general no matter who you are

What's something specific that a person can do or say that makes you think "I need to keep my distance from this person unless I have to communicate with them"?

Would you hypothetically chose between your future kid growing up with you as a parent having 8 figures in the bank account, but they have no social life growing up due to severe introversion, or they are beloved by peers growing up, but you and your spouse make $80,000 a year combined?

These things aren't mutually exclusive of course, it would just be you choosing for them to live a life where the parents are wealthy and can go on these vacations and give them extra presents and whatnot while not being sought after by peers because they are shy, socially awkward, etc, or would you rather them be beloved by everyone, make all these connections, and always be invited places, while you and your spouse essentially paycheck to paycheck or might live in an apartment or townhome because of the economy and area you reside in.

What would you consider a successful season this year?

Is it just making the playoffs, is it making it and winning a game and losing to a higher seed on the road, is it getting to the NFC Championship game, making the Superbowl, or simply winning the Superbowl and every other outcome would be disappointing in your opinion?

What's a perceived physical flaw that people only notice/say something about if they don't find you that attractive to begin with?

What's something people do that signals "I'm conventionally attractive but somehow completely oblivious to it"?

Not that everyone cares, but whether it be an obvious signal that they miss, having low self esteem that clouds judgement, etc.

What's something that someone truly has to have great self restraint to avoid doing/saying?

While it's situation dependent, it means someone who had a decent or worse level of self restraint probably would crack and end up doing/saying it, which likely would lead to regret of course.

Your stock investment pays out $75,000. You have your own house already, but your sibling and their spouse don't. They have been looking to buy a house for years, but weren't able to for whatever reason. Without them asking, do you just offer to give them enough money for a down payment?

I'm not quite sure how the numbers work, but if they wanted a $250,000 house, do you give them 10 percent down let's say?

It would be assuming they both have decent careers and can presumably pay mortgage but maybe they both have bad credit scores, or one wanted it in the others name, etc.

Parents of Reddit whose kids are 18 or older, when was a moment that it really dawned on you that those kids are grown?

If you have one kid that is grown, the same logic applies of course
