I was going to wait but really wanted the black cat one. When somebody posted the remaining inventory counts I decided to order. BBW marshmallow fireside is one of my all time favorites & this one sounds similar.
I already have tons of body sprays and lots of lotions & candles to use up. Today I went to B&BW to use a free reward before it expires. Instead of getting another body spray or a single wick candle or lotion bc it was free.... I chose a body wash. This is the only body wash I have now. I'm going to use it entirely before considering getting another one. 🥳 Tagged as beginning project but its more than that to me.
Took a look at my sample products today and decided to go for the low hanging fruit first- these little packets before moving on to some larger sized samples. I'm keeping them in a plastic berry basket that I thought was too cute to throw away. They will be visible in the bathroom and my goal is to get thru them all in 6 weeks.
2 things don't have prices on them. Averaged from what I looked up puts bag value around $38. TFM has had consistently good deli & bakery bags for me. I havent tried a dairy one yet. Im not buying any produce bags right now bc of the lettuce thing & I'm picky about produce in general.
This is not a feel good post for me, but more of accountability. I joined this group a few months ago and have panned a few body sprays since the beginning, 3 or 4 so far as I remember. How did I get so many? As Ive gotten older my sensory tolerance has gotten worse so I dont wear many perfumes now, just mists. I noticed I rationalized buying so many bc they are cheap compared to perfumes and bc the scents are often limited time. This is what I have left after giving away ones that I blind bought and didnt like at all, or liked instore but not after they developed on my skin, or if they bothered my allergies. I gave away about 50% of this amount. I'm trying hard to not buy anything new although I do have a couple free item rewards that I would use if any late fall or winter scents that I like are released. Im also not blind buying things any more. This should get me thru 3+ ...years 🫠
The ones on my bed are open, the ones in the basket under my bed are new & some of that is lotions.
The marketing is tempting me but I dont want to buy them if they aren't good. Has anyone tried these and if so what did you like or dislike about them?
Has anybody tried this brand? They have a pretty IG and I tend to fall for aesthetic marketing like that. They also do drops from what I saw and theres a countdown to the Halloween/Fall drop. Of course they sound amazing reading the scent notes... but do they smell amazing irl??

❤️Several of these I liked and would buy again. The top right white jar is Oui scalp scrub. It was satisfying to see thatall of the retinol serum in the black bottle was vacuumed from the interior baggie. I never saw the inside of one of those type containers before.

⁉️ this youth to the people idk what is up w my skin + this product but we would be cool most of the time, then randomly it would irritate my face bad.
And I don't have pics but I threw out an old beauty by bees body serum that has been in the shower for a few years and it never absorbed fully into my skin, even on my old dry legs & would then get oil marks on my clothes. That one I didnt care about. But I also bought and paid import fees for a l'occitane brigaderio tub of body cream & perfume. The perfume is ok but light scent. I might resell it. The lotion was a disaster. It was dark brown and I'm light medium complexion. I thought it would be ok like a sunless tan w instant bronzer. I put it on and it stayed dark...and streaky!!...and didn't smooth and absorb fully...and then looked like I rubbed a pudding pack all over my body. Insane actually and I can't value the poor quality for the price & the company.
A few things I got today for late summer/early fall and a mood boost ✨️. I used a free item reward on the lotion and 20% coupon on the rest. Thought I had a free travel item mailed coupon but found out at the register that I had already used the app version. I wanted the vanilla spray and still got it just 20% off.
This is my 2nd time getting a bag & we were happy with both. I forgot to take a pic of the 1st bag but it had - 2 large juices, 3 small juices & a sald/noodle bowl. It was the same price.
My favorite candles from the summer so far were - honeydew melon, poets garden honeysuckle, and terra & thyme. Starting to crave those apple & spice notes now. I'm still into outdoors summer scents like walks in the woods notes. Did you guys shop just sale this week or start to add in new releases?
I'd like your opinions on a situation. There is someone I have a long 25yr+ complicated relationship with that is possibly a soul contract of some sort w me but has remained a mystery to me as to exactly why. This person has not always treated me well but we are still friendly at times off and on. I am not able to be in a romantic relationship with said person for multiple reasons so dont take my post as trying to break it up for myself. This person went thru a bad breakup of a long relationship but is now seeing somebody that I can clearly see is an energy vampire, skin walking the person I know and really seems to have no personality of their own unless you count selfies and vapid reels where they eyefuck themselves the entire time. Its shocking to me that the person I know would be involved with the vampire as they are intelligent & usually date intelligent people. Its like npd lovebombing mirroring to an extreme. They are possibly on the take for money from the person I know. That person and I are on the outs currently which is part of our long complex relationship. My question is would you reach out risking it being not at all well received & say something or is there a point where you just let a person fafo? I will delete this post soon but I'd like to hear your thoughts on morality, obligations as a seer, etc. Thank you. ✨️

I love pistachio but never used this brand before. Its about $28 without the holiday discount. The discount plus shipping are still close to that price. If you tried it: 1) is the flavor/scent nice? 2) is it long lasting moisture?

The farmacy bha & lush coffee scrub are my favorites and I replace them as needed. Ive stopped looking for other options so I hope those never get discontinued.
Also used up but not pictured are 2 bar soaps. A tallow one lasted about 6 weeks and a goat milk one about 2 weeks.
The other items were just OK for me, not remarkable. I can't really justify buying most them again or buying full sized based off the samples. Something in that middle sample of the trio smelled like mildew to me. I had to rehash my face after putting in on. The cleaner & moisturizer in the trio were fine.
I thought I'd have more empties this month but a handful of products are dragging on into to July.
