How to make getting back into school easier?

I'm a high school graduate and I'm being encouraged to apply to a technician job. One of the people encouraging me warned me that I could lose my momentum with school work (not that I had much momentum in the first place, but she doesn't know that) which could lead to me finding college too difficult.

My last two years of high school I was already struggling with daily math homework since I tend to be tedious with it, and not doing projects because I simply didn't like them. So, I don't know if I'm going to mature in a way that will be beneficial for college or if I'm just going to end up crushed by the amount of responsibility and effort it takes.

What did you guys do if you put off getting your degree to make it easier to get back into school?

Pace Analytical Work Environment

Hey all, I'm looking to get an entry level tech position at Pace Analytical.

Does anyone know what the people there are like? And is the work environment toxic?

Over summer chemistry opportunities

I plan on starting Shasta college soon, and I'm hoping I can find a chemistry internship or something similar over the couple of summers while I'm at Shasta. Should I just email chemistry professors asking if they'll have anything going on? I'm not sure of what to actually do for this and if it'll be worthwhile.

Why are timeshares (considered) scams?

I don't mean to sound rude or anything, I really just want to know why so many people don't like timeshares?

As a kid my grandpa would take my family on vacations to WorldMark resorts, and I loved it, though I obviously wasn't financially responsible for it.

Edit: Thank you for the answers, I get it now

Is the community generally outdoorsy? Are there any good hikes in the area that don't require more than 2 hours of driving to get to?

How to make the texture of a popsicle smoother/less icy?

I'm wanting to make my own cinnamon chai popsicles, but I want to know what I should use to make sure that the popsicles end up with a less icy, softer texture. Should I brew the chai tea in heavy cream or something?
