I am using the just cut Vanguard Veterans box to build JPAI and Vanguard Veterans. How would you go about build them to tell them apart?
Is Bolt Pistol and Chainsword next to a Plasma/Flamer/Melta Pistol and Power sword enough to tell them apart?
Or will players complain that they are to similar?

I was wondering if anybody has a photo of Stalker Constructs next to a Heavy Weapons team?
I am making a Grim Dark Servitor Imperial Army, and looking for something that could fit in that setting.
According to Minicompare.com, Stalker Constructs and Heavy Weapons teams are fairly close in size… and use the same base size.
I was also considering the Serperos as Krieg/Cadian horse proxies of the legs could be made to fit a 60x35mm wide base?
But Minicompare does not always Capture the 3D feeling a photo will do.
Trying to find the smallest bolter I can to fit on a Firstborn…
Now, forget its a Bolt Pistol.🙂 Does anybody know if the left arm could hold that small forward Rail?

Models that can with a tiny bit of work be proxied into a unit in my own chapter. Space wolfs seems to be difficult to remove enough to look like regular Chapter…

But, the 1st Company.. it just says 10 Veterans or 20 Terminator.
I think this means 10x10=100 Veterans OR, 20x5=100 Terminators. OR a Mix of the two.
So… what are Veterans? What type of squad do they use?
Do we just paint them white, call them Veterans and use them as any Unit type/squad we want? Assault Intercessor with Jump Packs Veterans? Devestator Squad Veterans? Outrider Squad Veterans?
Or, where we supposed to use the Sternguard and Vanguard Veterans for 1st Company? Maybe Bladeguard now as well?
Which current models do you have problems with accepting/belive using Firstborn units for?
I am struggeling a bit with the Inceptor Squad… Having a Fb with a Jetpack and Two plasmas or Bolters on a elevated/see through stand. Looks very close to AIJP or Vanguard Veterans. And, not as thick.
It could work.. as I dont have problems using Fb as (Gravis) Heavy Intercessor or Eradicators.. just use a 40mm base and maybe elevate him a bit.
Sold some unpainted Imperial Army vehicles and got some Knights instead.

Is there a point to use Eradicator with Heavy bolter when they can be included into Heavy Intercessors?
I am looking for alternative uses for my Venerator Dreadnoughts (just in case), and the largest Normal figure I could find is a Captain in Terminator armor (50mm)…
Now if I where to swap him out for a Venerable Dreadnought on a 60mm base.. Dreadnought Captain.
His Weapons (Terminator), Relic Fist and Combi-Bolter, which stats almost fits Venerables Dreadnoughts Combat Weapon and the Assault Cannon.
Now that the Castellan went up in cost.. it messed with lists. Is it worth bringing two now?
Adding the cheapest big knights I still made it barely. How does this sound?

This is probably Heresy, but does anybody have Photos of a Kastelan, next to a Venerable Dreadnought?
They are both on 60mm base, and according to my Minicompare, the Kastelan is just 4-6mm taller (excluding top weapon on Kastelan)
Has anybody tried altering the height on the Aethon Heavy Sentinel legs?
Was wondering how tall you can get it? Or low.
Looks like legs could be extended quite far?
Is there a fixed spot where the Leman Russ Plow is to be attached?

Personally I think it sticks out to much from the Hull. Is there an easy way of moving it back or shortening it?
