To this day, there's not a single shounen manga that is as genre-pushing and influential as Devilman (Spoilers for Eva and AOT in 4th, 5th pictures)

Devilman was way ahead of its time. So much of the groundwork for modern shounen started here. The inner demon trope was popularized by Devilman. The story tackled much darker themes and is much more graphic than its contemporaries. One of the most overlooked shounen of all times.

"I hate how rushed the ending was"

Oh boy, I cant wait for people to say how rushed Gamoverse, Animator vs Animation, and One Pieces endings will be in the future. I swear to god EVERY show that ends now a days gets the exact same criticsm. If all the shows YOU watch fall under the same category maybe its NOT the shows. Maybe it has ALWAYS been fast paced, but waiting between episodes let your headcannons control your perception of the show. For the love of god please find a new criticsm
