Despite most women identified as straight, they technically not. Society believes that female sexuality, unlike male sexuality, is determined only by romantic attraction. That's why most women consider themselves straight, because they only experience romantic attraction to men but most of them experience sexual arousal from women's bodies often even more than from men's. I've seen so many women literally declare, "Women's bodies arouse me more than men's, but I'm straight" which is absolutely absurd in my opinion. The way "straight" women talk about other womens bodies clearly indicates the presence of sexual attraction and not just an aesthetic appealing because their wording often includes porn, erotica and other sexual content.

Also let's not forget the popularity of lesbian porn among women. You can make up as many excuses as you want, but there is no way you're straight if you aroused by watching two members of your gender have sex and you would never consider a man who masturbates to gay porn straight. Somehow, society uses logical conditions to define only male sexuality but women can say and do the gayest things and still legitimately claim to be straight.

I've noticed how popular it has become for women on russian-speaking social media to accuse men of latent homosexuality at any convenient opportunity. To me, it's hypocritical when it's coming from WOMEN.

I mean, ive never seen men make such gay statements as "straight" women make on regular basis. "Straight" women regularly say how much more attractive female body are than male, that they get turned on by women body in porn and that they check out women more than men and after all they think that they legitimately straight. Women on average WAYYY MORE gay than men and much more often deny having bisexual tendencies when they obviously do.

Because in homophobic Russia women absolutely the same. Same bullshit about "i see attractive women everyday but attractive men", "i prefer female nudes", "we check out other women more", "i wish i was lesbian". ABSOLUTELY THE SAME. So it must be obvious that it's not just cultural, it's biological female nature which revealed even in a homophobic country.

For some reason, people always talk about closeted DL men and how common are they, especially women. Russian women accuse every other man of latent homosexuality, and all the problems in dating, in their opinion, stem from how common latent gays are among men. However, I believe its fair to say that most of these accusations are projections from women and that there are way more latent homosexual women.

They should read about concept of Occam's razor. Even so, most of their arguments are easily shattered by facts and logic. Let's examine some of them.

1. "It's just socially acceptable for a woman to compliment another woman in a very sexual manner." Really? It's also socially acceptable for lesbians to admire men's bodies and for gay men to admire women's bodies. Have you ever seen a gay man admire a woman's body in such a sexual manner? And, moreover, have you ever seen a lesbian who drools over men's bodies as much as "straight" women do over women's? It's just natural women gynephelic attraction.
2. "Women just put more effort into their appearance!" Then why do you find attractive even some fat ugly girls who put even less effort into their appearance than average guy? You're just naturally dislike male appearance.
3. "Women are just less homophobic." So you're saying that if some men weren't homophobic, they'd all be making out with each other and jerking off to gay porn? I don't think any of WANIM members is homophobic, does it make us to do and feel all this gay shit? Another idiotic projection.

But women don't have an object-based attraction to male bodies. Their sexual arousal is narcissistic. They are aroused by what is done to them, by how they are made to feel desired and sexual. Straight women stand out among all sexual groups in that they generally dislike the gender they claim to prefer. As a guy myself i don't have many female friends but i see what i see. We always hear this stereotype about women being snakes and extremely jealous of each other but i actually think it's a male fantasy and form of projection. I literally never see women being hostile to each other or trying to devalue or humiliate each other. They mostly genuinely admire other attractive women.

But men one is the one who really jealous. They very hostile to other attractive and successful men and always try to challenge them. If there's buff looking dude they will start to blame him for using steroids. If it's more feminine handsome guy they'll try to make fun of them cause he's supposedly gay.
