Car revs high before it starts pulling (BMW X1)

Just checking if this behavior is normal for a 2025 BMW X1 xDrive23i (U11).

So, when cruising in Comfort mode and flooring the gas pedal, the engine first revs up for a second and then shifts into the correct lower gear. I am guessing it goes into neutral, putting the engine at ideal revs for optimal power while it is finding the correct gear?

It accelerates and shifts normally otherwise.

Zakaj imajo upokojenci zastonj javni promet, medtem ko ga morajo dijaki in študenti plačevati?

Luba Mini 2 1000 vs Navimow i2 Lidar Pro

So my yard is about 700m² with a slope throughout, some steeper bits (up to 22 degrees) and plenty of obstacles like trees, bushes, flowerbeds, etc.

I am mostly considering the Mammotion Luba 2 mini 1000 (the no lidar version) and the Navimow i2 lidar pro.

Based on specs, the Luba might be a slight bit better due to the edge-cutting disc and a better mowing efficiency of 430m² per charge. But the main concern is, of course, Mammotion support. Reading through their Facebook groups and subreddits, it seems awful.

The Navimow has lidar, which should be better for navigating around obstacles. It also has AWD, but it has 3 wheels compared to 4. This might also be an advantage since that single wheel does the turning compared to tank-style turning on the Luba. Also, Navimow's support seems quite good. But it only does about 200m² per charge, meaning it would take more battery cycles to complete my yard.

So, considering all this, which would you recommend? Any other models I should consider at about the €1500 price point?

Why is the i2 Lidar Pro less efficient than other mowers with the same battery capacity?

I’m considering buying the Navimow i210 Lidar Pro, but I’m confused by the battery/performance specs compared to the other models.

All of the following three models use the same 5.1 Ah battery, yet the mowing performance is very different:

- H2 1000 → 70 min charge, 110 min mowing time, 348 m² per charge

- i208 Lidar → 110 min charge, 110 min mowing time, 265 m² per charge

- i210 Lidar Pro → 90 min charge, 75 min mowing time, 195 m² per charge

Does anyone know why the i210 Lidar Pro gets significantly less mowing time and covers much less area per charge despite having the same battery capacity?

Is it because of different motors, LiDAR power usage, wheel setup, or something else?

Would appreciate any insight from people who own these models or understand the technical differences.

Bodisi me kliče "banka", bodisi imam par bitcoinov pri nepoznanem brokerju in mi grozi zaprtje računa.

Why does the Luba mini with lidar mow more area per charge than the one without?

The Luba Mini 2 1500 was just released in the European market, and looking through the specs, I noticed that it mows 500m² per charge compared to the Mini 2 1000 (no lidar), which only does 350m² per charge. The confusing part about this is that both have the same 6.1 Ah battery, run time, and charge time.

So, is this a mistake, or how is it possible?

I just want to check if I am reading this right. Does the Luba 3 1500 only have LIDAR and vision? Or does it come with the traditional RTK antenna? Because it is advertised as tri-fusion positioning, but there is no mention of the RTK antenna, and the netRTK isn't available for it. So is it just LIDAR + vision?

I was originally going to get the Luba Mini 2, but after reading some reviews that it only does up to 150m² per charge, I don't think that is a great choice. It would need like 5 charges and the whole day to finish my 800m² lawn, which is not great for the battery life.
