Maintenance shot of 2.5mg after 22 days

68F 5ft 6ins and in my 40s weighed 20st 6lbs/286lbs - Nov 2025 starting weight on mounjaro 11st 6lbs/160lbs - current weight 9st 0lbs/126lbs

I've been tapering off since getting to my 'goal' weight at the beginning of March.

I've only ever been on 2.5mg since I started mounjaro November 2025 as my food suppression has been very high (that's the only side effects I've had). So because of this I've been taking my dose every 20 days but today's shot was 22 days. I think the next one will be 25 days...then try once a month and hopefully stop.

Despite leaving long gaps between shots I've actually lost another 5lbs as it's still hard for me to consume my estimated daily BMR calories because of my high food suppression.

My way of starting the day...

...with my Protein Banana Blueberry and Chocolate Baked Oats - with add-ins of desiccated coconut, chia seeds and honey. I'll be eating the other half after my evening meal and will add a topping of Greek yogurt/vanilla isolate whey protein powder/chia seeds😋

Reached goal beginning of March (and have since lost a couple of pounds more) as I'm still taking 2.5mg every 20 days (soon to go to once a month and then stop) so making an effort to eat 1,800 calories a day as my food suppression is still pretty high.

BACKGROUND INFO: 68F 5ft 6ins and in my 40s weighed 20st 6lbs/129.7kg/286lbs. I began losing weight with a slimming club, hypnosis, and then the last 3½ years intermittent fasting. In November 2025 I started taking mounjaro and weighed 11st 6lbs/72.57kg/160lbs. I've always been on 2.5mg and have gone past reaching my goal weight and now I'm 9st 0lbs/58kg/126lbs

I've been using MyFitnessPal for over 12 years - and after reading the recent posts of others losing their info when this update happened....I was dreading it would do the same to me.

Up until early this morning I've been logging as usual for the whole week - even adding new recipes. Then just went in again and there it was... the new version. But thank goodness so far - my info is still there 🫰🏾

So far this Blueberry, Apple and 0% fat free Greek yogurt baked oats dish is my favourite. It has a lovely texture - like banana cake but WITH NO BANANA.

Had half for breakfast and the other half will have later with some Greek yogurt mixed with chia seeds, peanut butter and vanilla flavour protein powder 😋

The dish I use is 5.7ins x 4.1ins x 1.8ins - capacity 12.5oz/370ml (enough for 2 helpings)
