I have invisible grill + mosquitoes net on the balcony border

and where the room starts theres the usual glass sliding door.

I like keeping glass door open for the wind breeze to come in else i feel suffocated and stuffy in the room.

Keeping fan on is ok, but nothing like open breeze.

Whenever it rains, the rain comes through the mosquitoes net and floods my room, its gets filled with water and even my bed got soaked with heavy rain water.

So i have to always keep glass door closed as rain is unpredictable, but also i feel stuffy and suffocated without fresh air.

What to do ?

2 cr in bank

1 flat ( 3bhk ) generating 40 k rent monthly ( to continue even after migration as a fall- back place to return back to )

Family of 1 adult 50+ age and 1 school kid

Can they migrate to places like thailand, phillipines, vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and retire there ?

Prefer the other asian countries with cheaper living, good food, hygeine, infrastructure, medical care.

The main considerations is medical care because here its like drain ur entire life savings in private or get urself killed in low zero hygeine in govt hospitals.

Of all things, this is what hurts me the most to think of And medical insurance is another battle to fight to get reimbursed.

So i thought move elsewhere, like buy or rent a place ,

transfer the 2 cr in a bank there and live on interest generated or buy some property there and rent it out to live off rent ?

Im not depending on work income because going to new country and language etc takes time so for contingency sake just doing the calculations now.

Not interested for middle east because it's more expensive and war like.

There was a very well-known gold shop named Jhaveri jwellers next to Sheeba in Bur Dubai. I had good experience making purchases from that shop but my relatives say that shop is closed now from quite a few years.

Does anyone know if they have shifted locations or if they have opened in India or how do i contact them. They were quite reasonably priced and absolutely great to buy from. They were very popular and well-known.

I live in navi mumbai and i want to start my own small setup but i cant decide between boutique or silver or anything else ( that i can handle as a female )

Open to suggestions but generally il start by asling if anyone can supply textiles AND a tailor also ? I feel a boutique is manageable for now..

And before some entitled person comments " its ur wish to not employ a lawyer then " -

brother - NOBODY goes to a lawyer based on "wish".

And the average expat ( not the billionaire ones ) cannot represent themselves in any court without a lawyer as they are not local hence not allowed.

Why are the lawyers charging such expensive fees thats totally out of reach of the common man. Not even complicated cases. Even normal small ones.

Best part is IF u win the case the compensation granted about just 500 - 1k dhs as recovery of legal fees.

The lawyers charge even more than that for just an initial consultation.

And it's not like the lawyers go allllll out for ur case. Most of them want to do the BARE MINIMUM effort even after u pay the fees that is entirely ur entire life savings or even more than that.

Thats because mostly its the law firms bosses that charge this much and then pay somewhat salary to their legal staff ?

The embassies dont provide a lawyer. They say we cant do nothing.

So many people are stuck in small cases because the lawyers fees are exorbitant and unreasonable.

And no its not like that around the world. There are NGOs that work on charitable basis and other lawyers that do work on less fees in MANY COUNTRIES. Except here.

Many countries provide free lawyers for stuck people as basic human right.

Why are there NO charitable legal NGOs in UAE where as every outlet has that atleast one charity box for other things

Nobody is asking for cheap or free all the time, but reasonable fees should be charged. Not fleece a person when they are at their most defenseless, vulnerable time.

Like she will be really dependable and protective of her side of relatives, but shes nasty towards me plus she keeps letting me down, like she wont support me in any discussions or support me emotionally mentally when i need her.

Shes perfectly normal with her own side of family relatives with whom she grew up. She had an very abusive marriage with my dad but now she's not even living with him.

Ive spoken to her countless times on why she keeps making promises and breaking them with me or just stammering or talking gibberish with me but she'll be absolutely normal and super fine with just her own relatives and their kids.

1. Nana lived in landed home in village of area worth 2 plots to be divided equally among his 2 sons ( ancestral property)

2. He purchased 2 more plots nearby same area to give his 2 daughters ( 1 plot per daughter). The obedient daughters didnt ask for any papers till he died.

3. After nana death 1 mama ( maternal uncle ) took possession of ALL papers and refused to give anyone anything till his dying day ( last year )

4. His surviving 2 sons and widow wife claim they cant find any papers and refuse to even give any share of approximate land value to the remaining sisters nor their share in ancestral home.

5. They are waiting for the old age sisters to also die knowing fully well their kids are living in another city so they'll get exhuasted in legal cases.

So far nobody has done any case on anyone just trying to sort by talks.

To make matters worse the 2 sisters plots original sellers have come and claiming that land is theirs only as they have heard in village gossip that they cant find papers. The land plots remian deserted.
