Was it $1450? Yes, does that seem like a lot for a Timex? Yes....but take the Timex name off and put a micro brand name and it's well worth it...the design details are incredible though, you can tell a master like Giorgio Galli had his hand in this, the design language is just sooo cohesive.

Really testing how deep I can dive with this certina at Nikki beach in Ibiza........I think it can withstand the depths of the pool! Maybe a splash in the med to put it in it's real environment

Should Bulova had made this with the 314 or the Electrostatic (probably not big enough for the electrostatic) or even as a precisionist? That seems like it would have been truer to heritage and made this more smash hit than an SW330.

I think the California dial and case shape is exquisite - I hope Tudor offers up more options for dials

As a third gen Californian, I feel like I need one in my collection. If the Tudor monarch had a dial color I liked that would be a no brainer, the Nomos have nice dials, but I need to stay in the 39-42mm ballpark. Open to all suggestions, but also looking forward to the discussion, opinions and suggestions on how you'd spend my money! I hope I've hit the minimum word count this sub requires and haven't wasted your time.

Perfect size, exceptional comfort on the jubilee, nearly perfect aesthetics, LUME and ACCURACY I'm at 0sd to +1sd ....perfection would be a lacquered dial.

These two came 2 days apart, I ordered the Seiko because the delivery date for the Christopher Ward was way in the future...but surprise delivery came. While they have a similar aesthetic, I think they five different vibes, I think I'll keep both...the Seiko for more casual beat about GADA and the CW for maybe more dressy/serious situations. Rate my GADAs! 😉

Just arrived, first Christopher Ward. I didn't think 39 would suit me, but it fits perfectly and is very comfortable. Build quality is nice for a $1500 watch. The iLinks are slick; I thought they were a gimmick on paper, but actually a pretty good system.

SRPE55 was the latest add to the collection, it is truly a GADA...the guy at the Tudor store yesterday first asked if it was Smily Face when he glanced at it; then when it was on the tray he said "that's a truly great watch, so versatile and their lume game is on fire" he proceeded to try to sell me a another Tudor, and we lamented how stupid Rolex retail policies are! Overall I'm pretty satisfied with "bento box" as it stands.

Finally got one of these, I had forgotten about this model when I started looking at Black Bay One, forgot how similar they are, but I actually prefer the Seiko full black, vs sunburst on the Tudor. As luck would have it...a LOT of luck, Amazon had an issue and refunded me fully form the purchase AND the inventory I was shipped is Japanese made, not a K1! I feel like this is my lucky day!
