This photo is from the “Global Spirit Tour”, taken during “Cover Me” - Let’s see your favourite live snapshots
Been browsing some old picture folders and re-discovered this one of only five pics I took during that show. Pretty basic phone camera stuff, but I think it came out well. Just don’t zoom in too close, iPhones of that time didn’t like the dark lol.
Curious about your favourite live photographs. Any era, of course.
Rated one star because they don’t like the colour yellow - what’s wrong with people?
In der ARD Sportschau nimmt Thomas Hitzelsberger gerade Julian Nagelsmann auseinander
Er redet Klartext. „Bundestrainer zu sein, beinhaltet mehr als taktische Maßnahmen zu treffen.“
*Thomas Hitzlsperger, sorry

Propaganda’s “A Secret Wish/Wishful Thinking” | Got to love those Japanese releases
The 2009 Japanese reissue. It sounds as good as it looks. Bought it on release, directly from Amazon.jp. One of the last new CDs I ever bought. It comes with the OBI and a booklet that‘s unique to this release. Love it!

Not a fan of EA, I guess
These aren’t my favourite remixes, but this 1984 German release of the limited edition “Master and Servant” 12 inch is a thing of beauty
Managed to find a pretty cheap “mint” copy of this 1984 German limited edition 12 inch of “Master and Servant”. It has the Adrian Sherwood remixes of the title track and “People Are People”, that on this occasion is called “Are People People?”. Plus the regular 7 inch mix of “(Set Me Free) Remotivate Me”.
I must admit, I never really much liked these Sherwood remixes, but for a collector of DM vinyl it doesn’t get much better. This is a very pretty release. The chains on the front and back cover are beautifully embossed, and the black, white and grey marbled vinyl is gorgeous. It sounds great, too. Love it!
Von hinten sieht die riesige Messi-Statue in Argentinien übrigens auch Scheiße aus
Was bin ich sehend?
My favourite version: “Don't Say You Love Me” (Instrumental)
My favourite version. I don’t like the overly dramatic vocals on this one, but the production by James Ford / Marta Salogni is next level. Same thing with “Fail” from the “Spirit” album. Which DM song do you prefer as an instrumental?
Depeche Mode - Fools (Bigger) | Such an excellent song, I still can’t believe it’s a B-side
The single version should’ve been on the album, imho. And the 12” inch mix is excellent too. I actually prefer it over “Love, in Itself”.

Music has the right to beautiful CDs
All original European pressings, deliberately arranged randomly lol. Bought the “Trans Canada Highway” EP at the long since closed HMV on Robson Street in downtown Vancouver on release day. Played it on the stereo of my rental car while driving on that highway.
When “Tomorrow’s Harvest” dropped, I already switched back to vinyl records.
