Did anyone else have the Kellogg’s Variety pack as a treat when they were younger?

Apologies if this is basic but it’s just appeared on my BT pension statement.
I started drawing my pension at 60 and am due state pension at 67. I’m currently 64.
What exactly is this, is it particular to certain conditions or general across all company pension schemes and is this something I should have been advised about?
thanks in advance.
I live is a really hard water area (uk). With my old cheap and cheerful Russell hobs drip thingy, it had a warning light telling me to descale.
We used descale tablets and ran it through once and then rinsed it through about three times.
Would this still work or am I better using a different product?
Also any tips on how often?
thanks
and a huge thank you to everyone who gave me such great advice
I mean I clearly won’t remember it but damn, that’s feels good!
Just ordered the off-white one for my husband’s birthday next Monday. £229
THANK YOU!!! 🙏🏼
So I’ve just started training for a half marathon and the most I’ve ever done (race wise) are four 10k’s. I’m 61F and have only been running for two and a half years.
I do run 5k three times a week but honestly, sometimes it feels like a slog.
Anyway, signed up for a half in Oct and started training for it.
I honestly thought I couldn’t do “long runs” but after so many different threads suggesting a conversational pace, I decided to try it.
Ran 14k on Sunday and have just come back from a very relaxed 10k.
Pace not too fast at all by any standards (7:46/km) but absolutely consistent at that all the way and no stops.
Mentally (and tbf, physically) it’s a game changer for me.
I now feel I can definitely get there by Oct and am going to take the time between now and then to improve my stamina and improve my distance.
Thank you!!! 🤩
Went to Scunthorpe PR last week and the RD asked for those with dogs and buggies to start towards the back.
I’d not heard this anywhere before. I happened to have my dog and I’m not the quickest anyway so it didn’t matter to me but it just made me wonder whether this was the RD’s decision or a wider thing.
I’m 61f and have only been running for two and a half years. I love and HATE running in equal measure. Is that normal 🤣
I currently run 5k, three times a week religiously.
I’ve done six 10k races in 1:08 ish and my 5k is usually about 33-35 mins.
I’ve been persuaded to sign up for a half occurring in 19 weeks.
I looked at Runna, Nike, another I can’t remember and even CHATGPT and they all suggested wildly different training programmes.
So in the end I’ve decided on continuing three times a week with
Run 1 : 10k ( increasing 1k each week)
EDITED: to correct my glaring maths error 🫣
Run 2: 4k with a few hills thrown in
Run 3: my Park Run as usual.
I did a 10k on Monday and I was running at 7:29km per hour which felt like a good pace for me to keep to, conversational but with a bit of puff.
My question to you all is, does
this look realistic?
I am panicking a bit that I’m not going to be able to do that distance. I’ve never considered myself a natural runner so just need some reassurance and honest advice.
I would love to feel confident enough to try it but I’m not even sure where to start. What sorts of dishes. What cuisine etc.
can you share your best tips?
Honestly, every…single…time I hear “Don’t Fear The Reaper”, I think of Will Ferrell on SNL
So, we like a pot of coffee. We don’t want to make individual cups. We drink long black. No milk ever.
We do want to get into grinding our own beans.
Is the set up above a decent choice?

It’s made me so happy to think I was surrounded by these little beauties. It was a cacophony of beautiful sounds.
Stayed in South Beach in 2018. Found this fabulous inexpensive bar/restaurant that I’m pretty sure was pizzas and pasta.
Full of local workers rather than tourists.
Had a bar in the middle with chairs all around it and dining tables under a sort of open cover outside.
The bar part had real “Cheers” vibes. You could sit around it in pretty much a large semi circle and drink or eat there.
The main thing was the vibe. Definitely not expensive like MB restaurants can be.
And that my friends is it. Can anyone suggest a name?
Mine was being asked if I wanted to buy a bottle of Britney “Fantasy “ perfume to go with the 16 paracetamol I was trying to purchase at the till in Superdrug.
Is it a new third member?
Why isn’t it wearing a fancy shirt?
Does it sing?
So I’m thinking 1960’s /1970’s. Blonde. May be cockney. Definitely British.
Looks a bit like Alan Ford but not him.
Always played a bit of a hard man.
I can sort of see him in a brown leather box style jacket. No one uber famous like Michael Caine. Never a leading man.
And that’s all I’ve got 🫣🫣🫣
SOLVED- Phil Davis!!!
Thank you so bloody much.
The one on the left is apple shortbread and the one on the right is mint chocolate teacake.
Oh my sweet Jesus on a 🚲, these are just incredible.
And, that service station 💖💖💖.
And yet nowhere else inside or limited to one teeny tiny place outside?
