Sleep looked fine. Same loop was slower. Which one do you believe?

Hey everyone.

Rings were green. Sleep looked fine. Same roads as last week and they were not faster.

I keep staring at that more than the close.

Do you trust the watch or how the loop felt?

I made Aera because I wanted to see the same running loop actually getting faster

Hey everyone. I built an app called Aera for Apple Watch and iPhone, and this is the first time I have shown it outside of a few friends who run.

The reason it exists is pretty dumb honestly. I run the same three routes near my flat, over and over, and I could never tell if I was actually getting fitter or just having a good day. Average pace lies to you because of traffic lights and hills and whether you started too fast. So the piece I cared about most was matching runs on the same roads and showing you those exact stretches side by side over months. Watching one of my loops drop time was way more motivating than any chart I had before.

The other half is readiness, and I wanted it to reflect how recovered you actually are, not a score that always floats back toward average. Same with the week, it gets scored as a week rather than pretending one good session saves it.

I ended up running a spring off it and took a 5K PB free, no plan, no block, just doing easy days properly.

It is my app, made solo. App Store link if you are curious: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6762456252

Is this design AI Slop?

Just published the TestFlight for my app I made using CC over months of iteration, would you say this is an AI slop?

Join the Aera: Sleep, HRV & Recovery beta - TestFlight

I’m looking for Apple Watch users who wear it most days and have at least 30 days of Apple Health history.

Aera tries to make Apple Health understandable using your own history, rather than population averages.

For this beta, I need one very specific test:

  1. Install Aera tonight.

  2. Open it tomorrow morning.

  3. Look at Today for 30 seconds.

  4. Send the first thing that feels confusing, inaccurate or genuinely useful through TestFlight.

Health analysis happens on your device. The beta is free. Testers get 3 months of free :)

My poor chicken had severe flystrike?

My family and I were away for a few days and my chicken now had, we tried everything but it was overwhelmingly much we couldn’t save her. She was like a pet for us, she always sat next to me and let me pet her. I miss her!

Just out of curiousity how severe was this? At the time of this picture would it had been possible to save her with a vet?

M5 Pro chip over Pro M5

I’m ahead of a big decision. Currently I use an M1Air (8/256)i got from my parents 3 years ago for university. I created an app with it (vibe coded) and I loved every second of that. But I cannot run simulators on it properly as it gets warm quite fast, It shut down quite a few times because the ssd is full and ran out of RAM. I will move out in a year and will probably lose my Gaming PC so I’ll have one laptop.

The question is what justifies the M5 Pro chip over the regular Pro M5 model? I figured it out I surely need a model with a fan to avoid thermal throtling, but I am afraid the M5 pro is still overkill.

My workflow is running Xcode, multiple CLI Claude Code Session + Codex while doing research on safari. All this at once, before you say anything keep in mind I was able do to this somewhat effectively on my M1 air (with a few mental breakdownxd)

One thing i am scared of is what if I stop vibe coding or doing these coding related stuff because of whatever reason? Then I will look so stupid with such strong machine. (+ to keep making my app better and better I have to spend 20-100-200usd on AI subs..)

Please don’t roast just give me advise I am feeling guilty for whatever reason.

Is this Design an AI slop?

Would you say this design is vibe coded or it looks good?

Spoiler: I did not wrote a single line of code, it was all made by Claude over months of iteration.

My first vibe coded app

My first ever app, honestly it is a joy to create software. A few words:
It’s free, runs fully on-device, and the app itself does not collect or upload your data.
The main idea is to focus less on chasing numbers and more on understanding the current state of your body. It still shows scores, but it tries to explain them in a more useful way.
Some features include:
Recovery, Stress, and Strain scores
Sleep score, sleep debt, sleep stages, and sleep vitals
Metric trend charts
Training load
Personal bests for runs, including 1 km, 5 km, 10 km, and more
Route flyovers powered by Apple Maps
Widgets
Export options for your data in CSV, JSON, and PDF
Biological age, included as an experimental/motivational metric rather than a medical claim
Works with data from Apple Health and devices that write to Apple Health

I’m mainly looking for critical feedback: whether the scores feel meaningful, whether the app is understandable, and what feels missing or unnecessary.
TestFlight link:
https://testflight.apple.com/join/sawvukyw
Optional: If you want to help with score testing, you can export your “All Time” JSON health data from the app and DM it to me manually. This is completely optional and only for people who are comfortable sharing it.
Thanks, and I’d genuinely appreciate honest feedback.

iOS 27 Fitness App vs my App

I noticed how iOS 27’s fitness menu looks similar to my app which has been out for 1 month now.
I guess that is a compliment?

MacOS 27 and iOS 27

I heard you can’t publish to app store if you ran beta, is that true?
I’d love to test the new stuff the 27 versions brought, was thinking i’d upgrade.

BUT
Still have an update for ios 26 so i am hesitant

App Store Connect

Am I missing something? The iOS app shows little analytics compared to the web, the web is very buggy sometimes there is difference depending on where you look at a metric. How to use this tool better to understand what is going on? Any tips you guys discovered?

My second year investing

This feels good because these are hand picked stocks I have in a pie.

Quite suprised how good the pie is doing considering the global tension, but hey a gain is a gain!

What are your guys gains?
I am 23 btw

Title says the question.

I believe many of us had no experience of publishing an app, and with AI, we were able to accomplish it. What are your biggest lessons, and how did it go?
