Two games new and already have scratches😒

As the title states, I recieved both the Playstation 5 disc copies of Darkwood and Outlaws+A Handful of Missions and at the post office I noticed the new and unopened cases had loose discs, which I brushed off and thought that's completely fine happens all the time. Then when I got home and opened them, I saw small scratches on the edges of the actual disc on the backside, which frustrated the hell out of me😒

I mean I can always take the games to my local shop that sells games and have them resurfaced to get rid of the scratches for a small price, but that's not the point. This is absolutely unacceptable for the company, Ive already contacted support and it makes me quite irritated because It feels so wrong.

Has anyone else experienced scratches on their new discs after delievery/shipping? Is this a normal thing?

Splinter Cell Remake frustration🫤

These are my own thoughts but I have to wonder if Ubisoft even knows what the hell their even doing? How exactly is it a struggling task for the developers to remake the original game with new technology? I mean it should be easier without complications at all

Its not an open world checklist rpg like all of their other franchises such as Assassin's Creed, Ghost Recon, Far Cry. Its a single player narrative focused, mature, gritty, stealth espionage action game so I don't understand the problem why its taking so long?

Is the company just incompetent and can't figure out how to make a single player linear game anymore, or are they trying so hard to figure out a way to make it another open world checklist activity focused rpg like they did with Ghost Recon losing its identity?

It just confuses me as a long term fan.

Why do some games require a download to install the game and others don't? Its confusing

These are my own thoughts but Ubisoft forcing all of their games to be "download required" just to install or play their games is such a ridiculous element now

It seems every game they release needs some kind of online requirement just to play or install the game

Assassin's Creed Shadows

Black Flag Resynced

Rayman

Star Wars Outlaws

Skull&Bones

Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora

The only ones they didn't force this upon was Far Cry 6, Far Cry 5&New Dawn, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Assassin's Creed Mirage, Prince Of Persia the Lost Crown, to name a few of the games that didn't have this.

I don't understand this nonsense, why do some of their games not require an active download to play and install them while a lot of others require that??

Beckett deserved better

These are my own thoughts but Michael Beckett in F.E.A.R. 3 deserved a much better fate than how bad they ruined him after the events of the sequel. In the third game we finally get to hear the man speak, and all we get is a few minute cameo and then his whole body exploding thanks to Paxton with his abilities🤨

Having him get one game and then be killed off in a sequel is the most annoying trope in fictional writing. It feels like a cheap gimmick when they can't find a reason to continue the characters narrative or to spark shock value points into the audiences views.

The entirety of F.E.A.R. 3 felt so damn rushed and at times an incoherent mess of narrative plots that felt at odds with eachother and ruined what came before

We went from supernatural, science fiction cosmic man made horror to its the apocalypse now welcome your now being hunted, and your mom is pregnant causing the world to be overrun by spirits and all kinds of cosmic horror. Oh yeah your brother wants to kill your mother and use the baby's powers,

And when the story does end it doesn't even feel like a proper conclusion. Oh you saved the baby with Pointman? Guess what the world is still in ruins by Almas influence, so your not safe whatsoever and will be hunted for the rest of your days for the child.

It completely ruined both Becketts character and the entire premise of the F.E.A.R. unit made by the government to deal with supernatural, cosmic, science gone wrong, man made, creature horrors.

Evil Dead Burn information

Heres everything we know about Evil Dead Burn🔥💀

The movie is a direct sequel to the events of 2013 and Rise.

Jessica the young girl who was possessed at the end of Rise which lead into the opening of that movie is returning as a Deadite, we see her in the trailer Rise from the depths and attack some fishermen, and then later on seen in the woods deep in the night

The main characters husband is driving late at night, in a rush for some unknown reason when he sees Jessica on the road and flips the car off the side and into a ditch. She is then seen in later trailers without her head smiling, and the car sets a blaze for some reason killing him.

Hunter Doohan one of the characters of the family tells the main heroine that his grandfather was in the process of writing a research book based on his own findings of the Necronimcon. It also speaks into his connection with Professor Knowby from the trilogy who first came across the Naturo Demonto that Ash battles with.

In the Grandfathers diary pages we see images that reference the events of 2013 and Rise. One of the pages talks about "four dead bodies found burned alive in a cabin" referencing the events of 2013, while another page has a newspaper article talking about the apartment massacre that happened just before.

The movie is said to be introducing a deadite possessed dog for the first time in the film side of the franchise. Its already been done in the tv series.

The Kandarian Dagger is returning to the film series by being shown and used in this movie. It hasn't been in the films since the original films with Ash, other than the tv series.

Future Evil Dead:

Robert Tapert has said that Evil Dead Wraith that is coming in 2028 will be a direct prequel narrative that takes place before the events of The Evil Dead where Ash and his friends arrived at the Knowby Cabin and unleashed the Kandarian spirits.

The movie is said to be filmed in a more grainy, old school atmospheric charm of that time period.

Jessica Mckamby[Sonya Blade from Mortal Kombat] is among the cast in that prequel movie.

New Images from Evil Dead Burn🔥

I Found these new promotional and film photo shots on the Evil Dead Burn social media page over on X.

It gives us a good glimpse of the Kandarian Dagger back in the films since the original movie, if you don't focus on the tv series continuity. As well as the notes that Grandpa made about the Necronimcon and its different variations, since we know he worked/Knew Professor Knowby which is a huge plot revelation.

The one page has me curious though🤔

"The Circle Of Wisemen"

Could this be hinting at the Knights Of Summeria and the ancient order built to fight and stop the deadites?

Everyday we get closer to the events of Judgment Day in Terminator🤯

Everyday it seems we are getting closer and closer to the events of the first two Terminator movies and its "Judgment Day" that kicks off the nuclear war🤯

In the original film, it was said Russia and the East were influential on Skynet becoming stronger and a lot quicker in its self awareness and growth in tech.

Wonderful.

History repeats itself, people are offended and disgusted by Hellraiser Revival😂

A few journalists got to preview Clive Barkers newest game at Summergamefest and as history repeats all over again, people are again disgusted and offended by Hellraiser which feels like tradition with anything Barker writes or makes in pop culture via film, books or video games. The man just can't escape this at all

Some of the previews were whining that there's a lot of nipples on the Hellish artwork/architecture and that it was far too violent for a modern game release

Luke Stephen's said in a video he was genuinely quite shocked at some of the dialogue that NPCs said to each other casually about their relationships and a few of their interests when you wait and hear them.

Imagine not knowing Clive Barker or the Hellraiser IP and being shocked and disturbed by all of the adult sexuality, brutal violence, disturbing torture esque elements, from a man who spent his youth at many LGBTQ+ clubs[hence the Cenobite leather, which was very popular during the time he wrote the novel], or the time he spent dangling in the air suspended by hooks for his own interests and pleasurable times

Its 2026, there are far worse things to be offended by

Halo Campaign Evolved details have me disappointed 😞

Here are the details about the Halo remake that has me a bit frustrated and disappointed to say the least

Unlike Gears Of War Reloaded, the game is not fully on disc and requires a download.

You need an active online connection to play the solo campaign mode, there is no offline play.

Local splitscreen requires an xbox live or PS+ account,

No firefight at launch or planned to come.

No theater mode/photo mode

Customization/unlockable skins are not shown in cinematics

Collectors editions are permanently sold out due to scalpers. No more planned at the moment

How does 343 and Microsoft fumble this so bad???

Its a STORY based shooter with no multiplayer, why the hell do i need to have an active connection to play solo??

Starfield Update question

I've got to ask but did the most recent update finally fix the game? I've yet to reinstall the game on my ps5 because of all the freezes, game crashes, and all of the lag that came with the title on the platform. Its a game I would love to play but I don't want to deal with all of the freezes, lag, studder and crashes that ruins the experience for me. Especially for a space fan.

Poland would make an amazing setting for the Metro series🇵🇱

Poland and its bloody dark past would make for a phenomenonal setting in the franchise

The following books take place within Poland's borders:

The Promised District

The Promised Human

The Abyss

The Tower

Achromatopsia

One short story from In the Firelight

Seven short stories from Whispers of the Fallen

Twelve short stories from Echo of an Extinguished World

Eleven short stories from In Ruins

Those books explore Warsawa, Kraków, and many other cities of the Country in the Metro universe.

This is my own thought but I would love to see a new Metro game with original characters that covers the dark history of Poland and its aftermath of the war.

Since the game covers morality, the complicated and complix duality of Humanity, waring factions, as well as the mutated nightmares this could be a great idea

The books are tremendously popular in Poland, with several of them published and written centered in a few of the large cities and areas of its country region

One of the ideas they could explore from the dark past of Poland is the survivors dealing with the Red Line, Noveoreich Nazis and the new emergency of the UPA faction that established after after the War.

Historically, The UPA[Ukrainian Insurgant Army] was a faction in World War 2 that massacred ten thousand Polish civilians, Ukrainian civilians and Jewish individuals and is considered of the darkest parts of Polands history.

This could be a terrifying and horrible new faction in the series alongside the other established elements that could make the morality and human nature of the franchise really feel more darker and horrifying

I know that's controversial but it would be something that could expand on the franchises beloved themes

Plus the Poland environment/narrative could expand further on what's happening with Europe outside of Russia and those regions.

So yes you could technically make a game set in the Poland environment because its already been explored in the spin off novels, due to their massive popularity in the Polish country.
