Evil Dead Future Film ideas

These are my own thoughts but I think an awesome idea for a potential action horror sequel with an all new protagonist for future narratives could be one in the series that focuses on the last descendant of the Circle Of Wisemen. An all new male hero who's both naive, vulnerable, emotional and relatable who's full destiny comes crashing down on him through secret discoveries from his mysterious bloodline in his life.

The protagonist could be a normal ordinary man, who has had a father who abandoned him at a young age. The father claims it was to start a new life with a new wife and child, but it turns out it was only for him to protect his real family from the deadites that are hunting him to end the bloodline and legacy too.

The hero could learn through a family member who sacrifices themselves to save him, that his family and many others were fighting deadites for a very long time going back to Centuries to the battle of Castle Kandar[referencing Army Of Darkness] and that one of the prophesied ones[Ash] has now gone into protection because of a fierce battle against evil

In future sequels, our male hero could be used for intense action and atmospheric horror as he learns spells to combat the Deadites with abilities that can exercise the demons right out of the host, destroy them right out of the gate[full body explosion] and he has his own page written in the Necronimcon as a new hero to fight against the evil Darknesses Evil.

You could have this character named Sebastian Christopher Nightingale, as a new Van Helsing type for the franchise. Traveling in future sequels to new locations to save people against the deadites and even having their own business similar to Ray from Ghostbusters but dedicated to Ancient Kandarian protection and historical research.

Best internet service provider-question.

Hey everyone as the title states I was wondering if you would suggest me whats the best service for an unlimited data plan towards internet every month? I currently live on my own and on ODSP, but I feel as if I'm not technologically up to date being without the net at my apartment and being in the current world.

If your asking how Im posting this, well I use my data off my phones service provider which helps a lot but it would be used up too fast if I used it for anything else like online gaming and other alternate forms.

The Thing Sequel??

So according to John Carpenter who clearly talks out of his own cigarettes, there's a sequel to his 80s cult classic "The Thing" in the works which to me makes me question where exactly the narrative could even go?

Do they make a direct followup to the ending of the original with Macready and Child's, ruining the whole mystery of what made it so talked and theorized to this day?

An adaption of the video game which Carpenter has said is a faithful and canon sequel to the 80s film

A modern day film set decades after the 80s with a new group discovering the remnants of the Thing?

Or do you make a followup to The 80s film and the 2011 Prequel with Kate at the Russian base trying to survive the Thing again with an even bigger base and camp ground of employees there? It could tie into the cold war and paranoia of the time with the team from Russia speaking their own language making it even more suspicious?

Item Shop Bundle Concept-Quake

A concept that would be ultimately awesome for the future battle passes, or Item Shop Bundle in my own opinion would be based on the original cult classic IP "Quake"

Since the game has so many collections of music by Nine Inch Nails this would be a perfect fit for the title

Quake Bundle:

Ranger-Skin

Self Defense Axe

Nine Inch Nails-Quake theme music

Ultra Damage glowing Quake 1 logo Symbol

Considering the game just had its 30th anniversary, it would be an awesome idea to add into the game✌️

Well shit that Fortnite Battle Pass was hyped and such a letdown👾

With All of the teasers and trailers Epic has released for the upcoming "Overdrive" season showcasing the character roster of Mega-Man, Pac-Man, Sonic, Tails, Greenhill Zone to the overworld alongside some fun fighting game style moments you would think that at least the Battlepass would be something creative??

Then they dropped a teaser showcasing whats in the battlepass and it looked absolutely disappointing😬

We've got temu versions of Link, Ghost, one of the fighters from King Of Fighters, and Sonic being the only video game character amongst the roster in the season pass.

Epic being a company that has millions of dollars in their belt, should've done more to the battle pass for their massive player roster....

They could've easily put Mega-Man, Pac-Man, Sonic, Robotnik, and other video game icons into the pass and everyone would've been super excited for it. Hell they added an old cult classic Jazz Jackrabbit into the game as a Sprite...which would've easily been a great fit for a Sidekick or a character skin to use in the game...

For instance what they should've done for the battle pass was:

Sonic

Shadow

Knuckles

Tails

Dr Robotnik

Mega-Man

Pac-Man

Jazz Jackrabbit

Malcolm-Unreal Tournament

Man what a letdown.

Hayden Panettiere from Until Dawn has sadly passed away💔

Hayden Panettiere best known for her roles in film, tv, and video game voice work has passed away at the age of 36, an unfortunate and sudden shame tbh💔

She was best known for Heroes, Until Dawn, Scream, Kingdom Hearts, I Love You Beth Cooper, The Mark Of Kri, A Bugs Life and many others as well.

You guys really need to watch this Bruce Campbell interview with Michael Rosenbaum

Hey Evil Dead Fans, you should really go checkout the Michael Rosenbaum[Lex Luthor from Smallville] Podcast he has over on youtube. This is not a paid post, but its a phenomenonal channel that goes into incredible depth and lengths with behind the scenes information, interviews from actors and many more.

He recently did one with Bruce Campbell that hit me deep in the feels when he brought up Cancer, and it was actually really emotional. As someone who lost a family member to Cancer, it struck a deep cord in me.

Bruce mentions that people he doesn't talk to for a long time returned to his life because of the sickness such as family, friends and so many others to support him that it became too "overwhelming" for him because he didn't quite know how to make up for it.

Michael's done some other incredible interviews with Michael Biehn who talks about the Abuse that him and Ed Harris went through on James Camerons The Abyss which lead to Michael refusing to work with James on any future project, which is shocking tbh.

Worth watching!

Ash Williams and the future of the series

Bruce Campbell recently came out with an article for the franchise and claimed that his time as Ash is not happening for the future and that he's done with the role via live action performances, as well as VO work

He also said that the animated series now is dead, and that if they want to bring back Ash they need to hire a sound alike or something else to bring his role back through other means.

If they wanted Ash back in an animated feature, they need to do what Telltales Back To The Future game did where they found a voice actor who captured the sound and vocal tone that Michael J. Fox had for the series. I think that's the best direction for Ash to be in a future game or possible animated feature film or series.

Look at the recent Indiana Jones game, Troy baker did the voice of Indy, his vocal change and sound was very similar to Harrison Ford that I think that another voice actor could do the same for Ash tbh.

New Images from Zach Creggers Resident Evil

Here are some new official images for the upcoming film adaption of Zach Creggers Resident Evil. I'm not a fan of the whole tentacle based elements set in the Raccoon City Outbreak. It feels a lot more like John Carpenters The Thing and its 2011 prequel narrative than you know an adaption of the series branding??

Evil Dead Fans I highly Reccomended this movie-Deadstream

Hey Evil Dead Fans, if you haven't already you need to seek out the horror comedy found footage film from Shudder called "Deadstream" because it feels like its ripped right out of the franchise with the tone close to the first two Evil Dead movies[originals] and worth the watch. Its both hilarious and downright creepy af

For those who haven't seen it a brief plot synopis

A disgraced internet personality tries to win back his followers by livestreaming himself at an abandoned haunted house. When he accidentally unleashes a vengeful spirit, his comeback event becomes a fight for his life.

Its got some evil dead 2 levels of horror comedy in it.

He falls down a flight of stairs at one point and a demon/spirit winces in pain and makes the pain sound lol

The main character also gets frustrated at the spirits and gives them the middle finger😂

MDK1&2✌️

One of the most criminally underrated and forgotten 90s and early 2000s science fiction action adventure titles that deserves an Enhanced Remaster from the talented team at Nightdive has to be the MDK games

A unique third person platforming shooter where you play as a normal ordinary guy named Kurt Hectic, a janitor on board a space ship working for a scientist who exiled himself from Earth, and ultimately falls to you to stop a galactic threat from an alien race hell bent on destruction, enslavement and basic chaos.

You get this awesome ability known as the "Coil suit" thats basically a futuristic Iron Man meets Venom style outfit that lets you do all kinds of abilities such as tendrils that warp out like a parachute and lets you soar across the environment and land safetly.

The games also had comic book adaptions made, it felt like a solo Jet Force Gemini only with a lot more maturity to it.

Evil Dead 80s question🎃

So I understand that Ash threw the Necronimcon into the fire at the end to make sure he survives and also kills off the remaining Deadites but it left me quite a bit of questions that made me slightly confused too.

  1. Why did the Necronoimcon suffer pain and find it hurt in the fire, when other movies showed us that it doesn't affect the book whatsoever? Was it just in a way mocking Ash and pretending to be dead later?

  2. What the hell are those demonic hands coming out of the remaining Deadites after Ash "burns" the book? Are those the physical manifestations of the demons that possess Scotty and Cheryl hurting from what he did?

  3. Why didn't those demonic hands reach out longer and attack Ash if they had such huge palms and arms?

  4. WHY HAVEN'T WE SEEN THE DEMONIC HANDS IN OTHER MOVIES such as 2013, Rise, Burn, or even the tv series? Their ungodly nightmarish and creepy!

We lost another great icon of the genre💀

Today another icon of the 80s and 90s has fallen to the damnable chaos of health and sickness. Reggie Banister the man who stared as the iconic shotgun weilding ice-cream man in Phantasm, alongside his other roles in Bubba Ho-tep, and Wishmaster passed away. A generous and soul to his fans and everyone who knew him. May he serve justice to the Tallman and rest peacefully in the heavens above. R.I.P.🍦💔

Alternate Universe Idea-What if Scott survived the events of the original trilogy instead of Ash?

I've always been curious how the franchise would've been if Scotty survived the events of the original film instead of Ash, and what his life and future could've been like with the events of the second and third film as well as the TV series focusing on his future story

If Scott didn't leave for the woods and try to find an alternate way out of the area, leaving Ash behind I do believe he could've survived the events alongside his friend and remained until Dawn arrived the next day.

I think the direction of the story would've been a lot more atmospheric horror focused instead of the OG comedic route that the franchise took if it was based on Scott instead of Ash, especially the narrative from Army Of Darkness. Evil "Scott" could've been a much darker, and more dangerous form of nightmare fuel.

That's a comic series or book I'd kill to see happen, show Scott's life in the story of the second and third film and where it leads him instead of Ash as the guy who becomes the hero prophesied from the skies🤔

Guillermo Del Toros Mountains Of Madness

Out of all of the movie adaptions that Hollywood in their infinite wisdom of stupidity had to cancel, this has to be one of the biggest annoyances that irks in my deep soul. It had so much damn potential to be a huge hit and honestly one incredible cosmic project.

It had James Cameron attached as a producer, which is a good thing because the man knows how to make an epic scaled project. Del Toro had written and was going to direct it as a huge passionate fan of H.P. Lovecrafts classic tale. It had Tom Cruise as the lead, with an R rating and being historical era too

I read that the studios rejected it because they didn't have a "romance" subplot in the movie, that it would be too hard for audiences to understand, and the end would be too miserable and bleak for any film goers.

Del Toro has since said he would love to turn the film project into stop motion one day, but its a damn hard shame it never got off the ground. James Camerons even going off Avatar to work on the next Terminator as the sole writer/director, but its a shame they can't get this project developed.

Imagining the practical effects of what the cosmic horrors could be done today, with Toros passionate love for monsters and Lovecraft is such a dream.

Lovecraft fans need to watch Netflixs "The Last House"

As the title suggests, I highly reccomend the Home style thriller "The Last House" for Lovecraft fans as it feels like "The Call Of Cthulhu meets Home Alone" 🏡

Its about a fisherman father who returns home after a days catch and finds that his family are trapped in their house without a means to escape since all of the doors, windows and entrances/exists are locked and cannot be open. A heavy rainfall storm is falling outside with mysterious creatures watching them💀

Without spoiling it, the reveal of the creatures is very Lovecraftian and feels straight out of Dagon, as well as Call Of Cthulhu and Shadow Over Insmouth⛈️🦑

The Deadites use to have such creativity to their otherworldly designs, now they just look so disappointing😞

These are my own thoughts but I genuinely find that the modern "zombie/infection plain" appearance of the Deadites seen in 2013, Rise and Burn are slightly disappointing and not as creative or unique anymore

The aspect of them just wearing these yellowish red, or milky white contacts with red veins all around it to me at least comes off not as scary or otherworldly at all. They just come across like rage virus infectees in the 28 franchise or something out of modern zombie genre based content. There's something missing to it

I wish we could have more creative, otherworldly and unusual Deadite designs back into the franchise as it seems that every director after 2013 has followed in the previous films notebook with simple contacts as well as more pale looking skin which loses what the franchise made the Deadites so horrifying to start in

The series has always had phenomenonal deadites in the franchise from Apple Head in ED2, ED and his otherworldly face in ED2, Henriettas transformation, the Winged Deadite in Army Of Darkness, the brutally creepy and sculpted design of Ash when he was in a possessive state, the Pitt demon from AOD, and so on. They always had such creativity and fun while still carrying that horrifying and otherworldly designs

Is anyone else feeling a bit let down by the look of the Deadites with the modern trilogy?

We still don't know what type of design Wraith is going to have, but im thinking it will follow the more modern appearance

An Ash Williams idea thats ripped from the comics

We all know that Bruce Campbell has stated that he's officially done as Ash in the live action portrayal, and that he won't be coming back to the franchise as the character which is an unfortunate shame but hear me out I have an interesting idea that has been done before with the comics and could fit in naturally with the deadites and the supernatural realm of reality🤭

Follow what the comics have done and introduce an alternate else worlds Ash Williams that's similar to Bruce Campbells version but different at the time too

An else worlds Ash could be shown to have not lost his hand, or gone through time like Bruce's and has a much different personality where he's not as silly or selfish towards himself and others. They could show an Ash that's more vulnerable, scared and hanging in there. That could be a fun angle to explore in a new game or animated feature if they dont pursue it in a film.

I know they would be compared to Bruce, but in a way they wouldn't either if they showcase a different version of the character. The comics have done it and with the franchise pulling from different angles such as time travel, deadites and the dark ones, the three books, and so on the potential for it is massive

Sam Neils final screen performance is in the upcoming Legend Of Zelda

Well according to Deadline News we know now that the veteran legendary actor Sam Neil will perform his final role in the upcoming live action The Legend Of Zelda movie next April. There has been no news who the man is going to be portraying but rumors state he could've taken the role of The King Of Hyrule in the finished product. That would suit his talent a lot.

Dead Howling, Werewolves vs Zombies new film trailer

Theres a new original zombie/creature feature in the works from the Producers of "Dog Soldiers" which in turn looks like such a creative direction for the genre.

Dead Howling is about an apocalypse where there's romero esque zombies shambling around, and the narrative focuses on a werewolf trying to protect a group of people from the hordes that growing in their numbers.

It looks like full on practical creature effects with non cgi werewolf suits.

Theres a cool shot in the trailer where a character is facing a huge horde and changes into his Lycan form and starts brutalizing them

Temura Morrison from Boba Fett and Blood Quantum is in the movie too, same with Ryan Kwanten so it should be a really fun movie for the genre.
