SBS guitars. Hmmmm

Just arrived. I came across them about 1-2 weeks ago, ive been wanting a humbucker/single tele guitar so I was super interested. Spec wise on paper these are well above their price range. I was suspicious but for $260 to my door with these specs , why not. Im honestly a little speechless on how this only cost me $260.

Edit: This was a blem sale with extra discount code. Saved about $125ish

1996 vs 2026 MIM

First guitar was a 1996 MIM Black with rosewood fretboard. I no longer have that guitar but to me, theres no way it was a $600+ guitar like they cost new these days

Are the 2026 MIM guitars built better than those in the mid 90s?

Drill fee

Does your pro shop include drilling when buying a new ball from them or is it an additional charge.

I havent bought a new ball in decades but am thinking about it. The shop near me says its a $60 drill fee and $12 for grips, thumb stuff extra too. Is this about average?

Custom local luthier messed up BIG TIME

I paid for and was supposed to get a HHSHH but this fricking builder must've forgot and built me a HHHH. How could he forget to put a single coil between them!!!!

Should I return it and get my $748,374.39 back or just play it till the strings fall off ?

Can anyone suggest a pickup?

I have an old Madeira that I am considering adding a pick up to. I could and probably will go down the rabbit hole of reading a bunch of threads and watching a bunch of videos and comparing a bunch of prices... but for now, Id like someone to kinda guide me off the bat of whats a decent add on pick up.

I dont need anything special, just dont want garbage. Good enough works here

Why is this not the biggest head and shoulders ever?

QQQ is approaching a critical point where it will reject at the 718.64 gap or burst to new all time highs.

To me this looks like a txt book head and shoulder pattern about to play out. I understand it can reject the pattern and rise above, but it looks like a perfect set up to me

Im seeing this as possibly under $700 next week

Why am I wrong?
