LOOK at this dog that literally smiles to greet you. Sweet as can be and wants to snuggle so badly. She is at Fort Worth shelter.
She’s a 70 lb female, spayed, vaccinated, and HW positive, but shelter will provide meds for free.
They have her marked as a terrier / pit mix but shelter looks more lab to me. She is marked as not eligible for doggie playgroups because she is nervous with other dogs, so she either needs to be the only dog or must be tested with any pets a prospective adopter may have. But keep in mind that shelters are scary places for dogs and they often exhibit behaviors that are not their norm.
She is well past her time at the shelter and has been there since March.
SHE CAN BE EUTHANIZED AT ANY TIME. I wish I could take her, but I had to at least try to network her in hopes she has a hero. It’s not often we see a dog that actually smiles.

Super sweet dog found in Grayson county (90 min north of Dallas) on side of road.
She’s clearly lactating and the finder took her on a leash back to where she was found in hopes she would lead them to her pups. No puppies found so far. 😭 Vet appt tomorrow.

This poor dog was dumped at the Fort Worth shelter by owner. When told she would most likely be euthanized, they shrugged.
Senior red husky is 9 years old, HW+, and has cataracts. She is unlikely to get adopted hence funds needed for her care at the HappyFurever.org sanctuary.
