Sweet LINDA #A658207 came into Harris County Pets with her siblings after they were found as strays. 💔 Her brother Bowie has already been adopted, but Linda is still waiting for someone to choose her.

At only 6 months old, Linda should be growing up in a home—not sitting in a shelter kennel. She is now at risk due to her length of stay and urgently needs an ADOPTER, FOSTER, or RESCUE to help get her safe.

🚨 URGENT — PRINCESS A645607 IS BACK AT THE SHELTER & STRUGGLING 💔

You may have just seen her brother PRINCE. Now meet his sister, PRINCESS. 💔

Last October, PRINCESS and PRINCE were picked up as strays and their owner reclaimed them the very next day. Now, the siblings have ended up back at the shelter again.

This time, weeks have passed and no one has come for either of them.

And PRINCESS is having an especially difficult time. 😢

This big, beautiful girl is depressed in the shelter, and although her brother is there too, they are being housed separately. She doesn’t even have the comfort of him beside her while she tries to adjust to being back in a loud, stressful kennel.

PRINCESS is only 2 years old, already spayed, and weighs 85 pounds. She’s a whole lot of girl with a whole lot of love left to give. ❤️

💔 PRINCE has been here before. The heartbreaking difference is that this time, no one came back for him.

Last October, PRINCE and his sister PRINCESS were picked up as strays. Their owner reclaimed them the very next day.

PRINCE is a 97-pound gentle giant who is described as sweet, affectionate and people-friendly. Please don’t let his size make you overlook him — this big boy deserves to feel safe and wanted again. 🖤

His sister PRINCESS A645607 is also at the shelter, although the two are currently housed separately. She is struggling in the shelter environment, and it’s heartbreaking knowing these two came in together and are now separated.

❤️ Of course, seeing PRINCE and PRINCESS leave together would be amazing — but they do NOT have to be adopted together. We’d much rather see them leave alive separately than lose their chance waiting for one home that can take two large dogs.

𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐠! 𝐔𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭!💔🐾 ABBI is scared—not bad. She needs someone willing to give her time. ABBI is a small 36-pound girl who relies heavily on the comfort of other dogs. She's currently kenneled with a canine friend who gives her confidence—but that dog has an adoption hold and will likely be leaving soon. ABBI could be left to face this frightening place alone. 😢

When ABBI feels safe, we see the sweet girl underneath the fear. She takes treats gently, accepts affection and enjoys being with other dogs. Staff specifically noted that she would benefit from a friendly canine companion in her future home to help her gain confidence. 🐶💕

Leashes and unfamiliar handling frighten her. In a shelter, a scared dog's reaction can easily be misunderstood. ABBI needs someone who understands that trust may come slowly and is willing to show her patience and kindness.

Her body tells us she's likely been a momma before, although no puppies came in with her. Whatever happened before she arrived here, this sweet girl deserves a softer life from now on.
