Hi, I want to start by saying I’m too knowledgeable on this topic. However I am taking a few law courses and the idea of becoming a PI has become attractive to me. I always grew up with my grandpa, who was a major book person and who got me into reading. I grew up reading Tom Clancy, John Connolly, etc. and so I have a few basic questions about the field.

1. How long did it take you to become a PI? What degrees do you need?

2. Did you have to work with the police to get where you are?

3. What is your approximate salary/pay? Can you live decently?

4. Kind’ve an optional question for those it applies too, but how dangerous is the job? I’ve heard it somewhat varies. Should I carry a sidearm even if I don’t plan on using it? What tools DO I need?

5. Personal question, do you like your job? How long have you been doing it for? How hard is it?

Sorry if I’m asking the wrong questions or worded it really. I’m just trying to get a feel for the field, but thank you in advance for any help.

Hi, I finished Flight of the Eisenstein and was kinda turned off after that (I personally didn’t enjoy it) and I recently started the Siege of Terra novels, however I’m looking for new paperback heresy books to read, which I know is a bit of a tall order. Preferably from the traitor side please:) I’m open to pretty much any suggestions, but if it has a precursor/series it’s apart of I’d love to know if.

So, can I see yours for some motivation? Need some paint scheme ideas

I’m not entirely sure if this is the right place but I hope so. I severely struggle with self harm and I used to use bandages as a way of prevention. I struggle with severe depression where doing anything feels like a chore, and if my wrist is just covered in bandages I would feel e lazy to cut. But we just moved and we don’t have any money currently, and my mom thinks I’m a pussy for what I do. Is there anyway for me to get free/in expensive gauze bandages from somewhere? I would prefer not too tough it out

I feel like a fucking second rate conscript from Kazakhstan charging into Chechnya, we are literally an unpaid mass of conscripts charging with assault rifles into barbed wire trenches with machine guns. Like moths to a flame we are. The Dusk assault rifle is genuinely the only saving grace in this bottomless pit of bodies, the amount of veteran support required after this battle will be astronomical. For every trench we gain 20 more of these baby eaters charge us, also HUGE smooch to our medics. These guys are beautiful.

I hate the larpers on TikTok Warhammer that don’t read the source material. No Tyberos isn’t the size of a primarch, no Krieg aren’t suicidal maniacs (atleast to what I have read) I just HATE peoples who get their knowledge and opinions of the setting from yt shorts and TikTok. I realize everyone is not a book nerd like I am, but PLEASE just pick up a book on Warhammer once. Read one book of your faction/chapter please, or even just an audiobook. Just something official to Warhammer I beg of you

Question is in the title. For a few years now I have owned some TSons models, but never any interest. But replaying the space marine two game is really making me reconsider, I’m going to read the Ahirman omnibus and a few other TSONS books to get the feel of things, but I’m really looking towards making a custom warband using some 30K models from wartable games. Any idea on how to build a good army list for TSONS? Any advice and suggestions would be appreciated.

I am apart of a Colonial tanker/infantry regiment that occasionally does air and naval operations. Any ideas where I can try and post to find members for the regiment? (Other than ingame, we post signs enough lol)

I don’t know his lore, but I’m curious why his profile is a bolt pistol and a plasma pistol. Why not use the sword on his model? Again I don’t know the lore of the fallen/Cypher, but I’m curious why.

Hi, I believe this post is valid here, but please tell me if it’s not and I will remove it. I simply want to share my father and I’s experience

( prelude to the story )This is most likely one of my most haunting memories. My father (I’ll refer to as J) was very active on conspiracy boards on 4Chan and another website in the 2000’s, I can’t remember the name of it, but I remember my father saying it turned out to be a honey pot for the FBI. He was very much into the occult and study of esoteric religion and history, and before he died he got me into the rabbit hole. Which I’ve only been digging deeper into. So, now for the actual story. (As I remember it, it’s been a hot second) my father was talking with a man on 4Chan or Reddit (from this sub I believe) and after a while of talking about the occult and Freemasons and at some point the account was banned(I believe, despite them planning to meet up)

So there’s some things to be known about how the neighborhood is situated. It’s a long road, on the right side is a wall of wood holding up a few houses along the sidewalk (very important) and on the left is a hill, with a few houses at the bottom and some more at the top. As we were walking down the sidewalk on the left a bullet hit infront of me, but it was very weird. There wasn’t any flash (according to my father) and there wasn’t really a whistling. Just a crack into the wood. I was very confused when my dad grabbed my arm and told me to run, because all I heard was the wood split. Not a gunshot (at least to my memory) My father and I run back down the street and call the police. And a little while later my father called back to check on if something happened, but the police denied such call was ever placed. There was plenty more stories of my father that he never got to tell me. He took his own life a month ago.

I’ve always wondered what warbands end goals are, since so far in lore they are never really explained to me. So, what are your warbands end goals? Complete annihilation of the imperium? Death of all the Dark Angels? Revenge? Whole sale slaughter? And why? And thank you for all the responses in advance!
