Hypnosis

Does anyone know anything about hypnosis? I believe it’s real but definitely not all the time. My aunt somehow had a hypnosis make her quit smoking cigarettes for decades. (Weirdly enough picked up a vape habit last year but I think alot of people cycled back once vapes hit). Either way. I have a horrible habit myself of skin picking that I’ve had since I was a child and I’m thinking of getting a hypnosis to help me. May seem dramatic but I don’t want to take meds. Nothing else about me is abnormal noone even knows I have this issue bc my foundation has always looked natural since high school. Please don’t be mean. Wanting to know if anyone has heard of anything about this or anyone. Or any other suggestions!

EDIT: I made this post before realizing there was some of these subreddits. I joined. And I have been scrolling and will continue to. However i haven’t found an answer quite yet for my particular issue. I’m actually desperate and would like real help. So knowing that there is a community that exists now does anyone have suggestions that can help me with hypnosis as it relates to my skin picking addiction. I believe and know it’s real already. PLEASE HELP OR ENLIGHTEN IF YOU CAN. Only writing this edit bc the comments are already frustrated with me and I truly just want help. Wasn’t trying to be obnoxious by linking my post to this subreddit. I’m grateful for it and would like help I don’t know where else to go. YouTube hypnotist and psychics can lead you down the road wrong.

Melatonin gummies

I have Vitafusion Melatonin gummies I purchased. I always had issues sleeping since I was a preteen. I want a way to get to sleep without my mind being restless. (Marijuana doesn’t work that way for me). It makes me stay up and then crash and the next day I’m unproductive. Also messing up my eating habits. The gummies say the serving is 10mg (2 gummies). This seems high but I also read that the melatonin gummies don’t process all those milligrams the same. I work late nights so is my best bet just to take the gummies as soon as I walk in the door? Have you had good or bad experiences with gummies? Do you wake up sluggish after the gummies?

Natural remedies for sleep

I’ve always had issues sleeping since I was a child. To the point I used to take NyQuil smh. As an adult I just try to deal with it accordingly.

My job is very active and a lot of times are long hours or really late. (20k steps a work day according my Apple Watch). Sometimes I’m tired when I get home but most days I’m super wound up. Marijuana helps sometimes but it’s not my go to bc sometimes it keeps my mind going. Honestly alcohol helps me go to sleep no matter what. But I would never make it my go to lol.
I just bought melatonin gummies and ashwagandha (sp) gummies. My mind is so wound up from work on my last day of work before my day off (My Fridays) I am up so late I end up sleeping in way too much on my day off. Should I take these as soon I get home from work? Which ones work better?
And please give me some other options or natural remedies or a routine that works for you. And NO I’m not trying to get on sleeping pills. I keep this information away from my doctor bc if he knew my sleeping patterns I’d just be getting referred else where. lol

Has your candle ever relit itself?

Two nights ago (48 hours ago almost exactly) I lit candles in my house. I always do when I cook and clean. I light a candle in every room. While I was cooking a friend called me over so maybe two hours later I blew out all the candles. One of the candles I didn’t blow out bc it ALWAYS goes out by itself. It never stays lit more than 2 hours and idky just never does. I remember looking at it and it was going out. By the time I got back home it was all the way out. Okay so 48 hours later I just saw that my candle was fully lit. How is this possible? This is a candle that has NEVER stayed lit for more than 2 hours (had this candle for almost a year) and has been out for 48 hours. A little freaked out lol And yes it is kinda warm in the room it’s in. Is this science or more than science? I’m so confused.

The Jacksons: Triumph Album

I’m always disappointed that the era of Triumph isn’t talked about enough when referring to Michael Jackson’s career. Or even the respects of the brothers. They are so talented and contributed so much to that album. All of them wrote composed and produced. Randy and Jackie contributed heavily also in the writing process. And in my opinion Triumph has some of Michael Jackson’s greatest work. I’m not one to skip anything Michael but this is 100% a no skip album. One of his and their most underrated pieces! I was disappointed that in the movie (or any conversation)there is no mention of it. This was such a strong time for Michael coming off of Off The Wall pouring his creative young mind into this album totally got him ready for Thriller. He displays so much range in his performance it’s just so amazing. What are some of your favorite songs? Mine has always changed. But it’s usually “Give It Up”. If you have not listened to this album thank me later.

Rewatching The Wire

What characters do you think made the dumbest decisions? I’ve been thinking of this and keep removing people from the list. I used to think Stringer was the dumbest but he definitely wasn’t. Just making manic irrational decisions in the end. I used to think it was Jonny but his mistakes were just silly. And bad luck. I thought D Angelo just from how goofy and unserious he was when he beat the case. And him bragging to Wallace Poot and Bodie about killing a woman he didn’t even kill. And all his blind decisions after that. I’ll say Ziggy number one for sure if I’m not forgetting someone. I’m thinking Sobatka for 2 bc it was all over a window. Then I’m thinking Herc for 3.
