How to prep for resealing timing cover
I'm back to working on my 93 Nissan pickup. It's been sitting for over a year with the timing cover off l, so I have some surface rust. What's the best way to prep it. Is 120 grit emery cloth okay to use, or is that too coarse?
My coworker's '02 Monte Carlo
It's super clean. I haven't seen one on the road in a long time, and when I do, they're always rust buckets.
I still remember the way these smell
And the way they made your water taste
The fact the the trigger happy cops have American accents has always cracked me up
It's such a great gag.
(I tried to fix the title but I guess you can't edit the title.)
I wish I still had a landline to call my cell phone when I can't find it
I lose track of my cell phone pretty often, and I miss having another phone to call it.
I lost my banjo at Buttermilk Falls about ten years ago
I managed to find the only picture I have of it recently and thought I'd reach out to see if I get lucky. I left it at buttermilk falls when I was hiking and didn't notice until that night. When I went back it was gone. I posted flyers but had no luck and I had to leave town because I was just passing through. It was the banjo I learned on and I put a lot of work into it. I made it fretless and burned the design on myself. It had been across the country with me multiple times so it had a lot of sentimental value. I would love to find it, so I'm reaching out to see if anybody in the area still has it. It would mean a lot to me if I could play it again.
Here's my PS2 hot take. I think Driver: Parallel Lines holds up better than the GTA games
The driving physics are so much better, the graphics are great, and it's just more focused overall. I loved vice city when it came out, and San Andreas was mind blowing when it came out, but I just don't have much fun playing them anymore. I replay Driver more often. People complain about the clunky gunplay of Driver, but GTA wasn't any better. It does what it does perfectly. Atari was putting a lot of effort into their physics engine back then and it really shows.
Tomorrow is Towel Day!
I'm going to celebrate by watching the BBC series with any folks I can attract to my house with pan galactic gargle blasters and Dentrassi hagro biscuits.
My hagro biscuits are going to be blue bread sticks with guacamole on top because I'm pretty sure that's what they used in the show. My gargle blasters are going to be Midori melon liquer for the color, and everclear for the brain smashing.
Check out that 4x4!
Some day, Jennifer. Some day.
I keep seeing it in the hot rod packs, but it's the only one in that pack that I want. Is this available as a single car, or do I have to buy the whole pack?
I found this piece of glass in the second to last beer in my six pack. I thought it was a piece of a tooth at first when I felt it in my mouth. I'm glad it wasn't a broken tooth, but also, that's a pretty big piece of glass that I could have swallowed. I'm okay, and I'm saving the can to report the batch info.
Almost every casting of a classic car is covered in graphics now, and I like a lot of them. But I would love to see more plain cars like this Daytona. It's simple and nice to look at.
