Advice needed: protecting fresh tattoo from a young puppy

Getting a small fineline piece done on my inner forearm on Friday and have a 15 week old puppy who is well behaved for the most part but like all puppies, accidentally scratches and nips.

How do I protect my arm while its healing as I've read you take the cover off after 12 hours and leave it. Other places say buy a sleeve cover or use tubigrip but how does that not stick to it and cause problems?

Long sleeves may just have to be it but we are in the middle of a heatwave here so looking for alternatives!! Thanks and sorry if this has been asked, I couldn't see it in the search results.

Areas around Marple Bridge?

We are looking ideally for a house in Marple Bridge but obviously there's few on the market in this small area.

We don't want to go further than New Mills but what areas around Marple Bridge give the same feel? 40s, no kids, dog, want a garden, quiet, not main road and safe to walk with parks and rural spots. Desperate to be in the countryside as much as possible but need to get to London once a month for work and partner travels to Midlands once a week.

Appreciate this gets asked a lot but I am just so lost trying to figure out what the surrounds are like and can't hold out forever for Marple Bridge in case it never happens. No house to sell. Thanks

Small fibre neuropathy

At my last neuro appointment for small fibre neuropathy they discussed Lamptrigine. But said to keep increasing my Noritryptiline up to what I can tolerate (currently at 40mg at night and doubt i can go much higher without next day side effects when I'm working) before going onto Lamotrigine.

Noritryptiline helps me sleep but doesn't do anything for the day pain that stops me functioning.

Everyone is saying to keep up with Noritryptiline and "keep" the Lamotrigine for later down the line. I'm really struggling and want a bit of my life back. I get it may not work, may not take it away but I'm wondering if I'm feeling pressured by people who have no idea what this pain is like.

Pain in both legs for 2 years after carnatine deficiency put me in a coma. Tried gabapentin, duloxetine etc with no real difference and not worth the side effects.

Has anyone been on Lamotrigine for SFN? Should I give it a go now for some quality of life? Im 41 and appreciate no one can give medical advice but just wanted some kind voices to sound this out to. Thanks

Boundaries with other people and your puppy

13 week old Jack Russell puppy and we've had him for 2 weeks.

He's such a sociable brave puppy. Just loves people and dogs. There's two problems here

  1. We get stopped every 2 mins by people making a fuss of him, touching him, winding him up

  2. He automatically goes towards everyone as he wants fuss and play.

I get it. He's tiny and gorgeous. But how do we stop people doing this as he's really difficult to train outside when people do this. Ive thought of a lead with a sign but don't know if that would work. Even when we carry him as he's tired or overstimulated, people just touch him.

It's exhausting. We are constantly on alert, can't get anywhere quickly and we both just get drained by it. Any kind tips appreciated. Thanks

Marple or Macclesfield to live?

We are looking at buying either in Marple or Macc. Is there anywhere to avoid in those areas, is one much better than the other, what are pros and cons?

We love Marple as its rural but not isolated but theres so few properties on the market. No kids so don't need to worry about schools. Just want somewhere leafy with nice walks and a little community. Both work from home, I travel by train to London once a month and partner drives to Leicester once a week.

I don't really know Macc.

Offerton, Bredbury and Hyde keep coming up on our search but I don't know a lot about them or if they're rural enough for us.

Thanks!

Untersbergbahn tomorrow

Doing a daytrip to Salzburg tomorrow.

Is it worth doing the Untersbergbahn in this weather or will visibility be poor?

We won't be hiking so will likely just go up and back down. Is the restaurant nice? How much is the number 25 bus from the centre?

Thanks so much
