Dina tokio

I saw Dina Tokio on my TikTok today and realized I hadn’t seen her in years. I used to watch her YouTube videos when she made content for Muslim girls and did hijab tutorials.
I don’t blame her at all for taking off her hijab. For years, people nitpicked everything she did and constantly told her she wasn’t wearing it “properly.” Then when she finally took it off, those same people turned around and attacked her for that too. She literally couldn’t win.
I also remember Adam Saleh making a whole video about her taking it off. A man with his own long list of controversies publicly judging a woman’s personal choice says a lot.
I just feel bad for her. Muslim women online are held to impossible standards while men get away with so much more. I wish our community had more compassion.

Did I fuck up my interview

I had an interview for an internship, and everything was going really well. I felt like I was answering the questions confidently and doing great overall. Towards the end, they asked me how comfortable I was with presenting and how I would rate myself on a scale from 1 to 10.
I answered, “11.” I said that I’m extremely confident when it comes to presenting, but I don’t want to come across as overconfident or undermine my own abilities.
The interviewer laughed and said that no one should tell me I’m overconfident and that he thought it was a good answer. However, looking back on it now, I’m worried that it may have sounded arrogant.
Do you think I messed up? Is that an acceptable answer in an interview, or did I come across as too full of myself? I’m applying for an internship, so this is all very new to me, and I would appreciate your thoughts.

Masar internship

I got selected for the final round and I’m curious if anyone did an interview with them and I wanted to know if they take multiple interns for a department or is it just one.

Help for Kicad schematic

Hello, I’m part of a group project and I’m honestly feeling a bit out of my depth. We’re using a PCB editor and the final goal is to produce a complete schematic and Gerber files.

I currently have the schematics and Gerber files for three separate sections: the internal monitor, external monitor, and power conditioning unit. My understanding is that these need to be combined into one working circuit, but I’m not sure if that simply means connecting the correct pins between the three schematics or if there’s more involved.

I’m on a tight deadline and need to have this done by tomorrow. Could anyone guide me on how this is usually done? Is combining the schematics necessary, and if so, how do I determine which connections should be made? Any advice or resources would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

Rejection after final round - fresh grad

I’m a fresh graduate. I’ve never really been given an opportunity. I kept applying, kept getting rejected, and eventually I finally got a callback.

I was out of the country at the time, but I did the first interview online. It went extremely well. They seemed to really like me. I made it to the second stage, passed the psychometric assessment, came back, and did the final interview. I walked out feeling like I absolutely aced it.

For the first time, I genuinely thought, “This is it.” I thought all those years of waiting, all the applications, all the rejection emails were finally behind me. The next day, I received a rejection email.

I’ve been rejected before, but this one hurts differently. The others were just applications. This time I got close enough to believe it was actually happening. I could see the finish line. I could picture myself in the role.

I don’t know. This hurts more than any rejection I’ve had before.Does this ever get better?

Unattended call

Hey guys, I recently applied to an internship and I forgot about to it. I yesterday got a call but I was taking a nap and I woke up and saw the missed call. I call back and don’t get a reply. Today out of curiosity I check my WhatsApp with this number and it turns out to be the company I applied for 🥲

I’m freaking out because I haven’t gotten a reply back from ANY companies yet and I’m wondering if this is actually messing it up. Did I just mess up an Amazing opportunity. Please please let me know
