Title pretty much explains it. Used to be really smooth and cut off after a few seconds. Fuel pump sounds super choppy now. I’ve ridden probably over a thousand miles since it’s been doing this with 0 issues whatsoever, but figure I’d ask and see what’s up so I can go ahead and get it fixed.

Appreciate it boys. Mechanically inclined but I don’t know much about motorcycle maintenance aside from the simple stuff like sparks, injectors, coils, etc.

Again bike rides like nothing is wrong. but… ya know. Would rather get it sorted out than pay later on down the road. .

2006 GSXR 750.

I don’t know if it’s the heat that’s getting to me or what but past few times I’ve gone out I have had to stick my foot out on low speed turns, I’ve had to take a fair bit of corners and curves at the posted speed limit suggestion, and just overall have not felt very… connected/synced up to what I’m doing and what the bike needs to do.. I guess you could say. I used to not ride in the summer very much, only on more pleasant days, but I’ve got some friends that ride and we all like to go out in the evenings. So this is my first “true” dead summer experience.

Recently, between school and work and clinic I’m only getting 1 day off every two weeks. But damn man it really sucks. I was fatigued after like an hour today, and on the way back at some point I just had to baby through curves that I’ve ridden dozens of times. A month ago a 3 hour ride was perfect and felt great afterwards, was ripping the hell out of the thing with no worries. Today was about 2 1/2 and I was 100% ready to get off the bike when we got home.

Don’t know if it’s just the heat wave getting to me or if everyone has those days where they feel like they can’t ride for shit. It was to the point where I was telling them to not wait up for me. They did, but I felt bad.

We did some hard riding earlier but even then I just felt sluggish on the bike.

Maybe it’s just the heat and humidity right now in the south, again I’ve never really done hard riding in weather like this. Anyone else?

Just so yall don’t think I’m a complete dumbass, this bag was in the cat food section.

Gonna delete this later, but I put the last bit in my cats bowl last night. Gave her a little can of tuna this morning before I left for my 12hr shift but she barely touched it. I stopped by a Walgreens after work (11p) as it was the only thing open. My brand of cat food’s bag was literally identical to the one for dogs. Except for the pictures of a puppy in a box on the bottom of the bag. But after a 12 hour shift in a hospital with an hour drive home I’m not really paying much attention.

I walked past all the dog food, got to the cat section. I guess someone noticed their mistake and decided to just set it on an empty spot on the shelf to absolutely royally fuck the next guy trying to buy that same food.

Yeah I bought the dog food on accident. Walgreens and CVS are closed now, of course Walmart, food city, Kroger, etc is. Do yall know ANY place I can get some cat food tonight? I gotta be up at 6:30, won’t be home til 5pm tomorrow. I’ll leave another can of tuna out worst case scenario.

I live in Appalachia, so most of my riding on my GSXR is mid speed mountain and winding roads, usually anywhere from 40-60 is my average speeds for those runs. But, sometimes on deserted straightaways I like to open up a bit. I’ve noticed that the bike is pretty smooth aside from the stiff suspension, but around 95 or 100 I feel noticeable vibrations. Tires are dated mid 2024, Rosso III’s, even wear, plenty of life left on em. Tire pressure is around 37 in the rear and 36 up front, checked yesterday.

Those tires were on the bike when I bought it, previous owner took really good care of it but upgraded to a newer one and sold me this. I don’t recall him mentioning any suspension or chassis work though.

The vibrations are noticeable but not in a way that makes me feel like it’s going to fall apart.

Normal? Or should I do some investigating?

If you have spent any amount of time on r/popular you absolutely know this sub. It’s a fan sub for a Netflix skit show, and the show on its own is not bad at all. Had a friend play an episode for me and I liked it.

The thing is that the show has been around since 2019. 7 years. What’s interesting is that I had never even heard of it until 2024, and it seems to be non stop political posts with seemingly nothing to do with the show. Posts about the show get a couple hundred upvotes, maybe a thousand or so, but posts having anything to do with politics immediately get bumped to r/popular with thousands, sometimes tens of thousands of upvotes.

Is this just a massive political bot farm where maybe a tenth of the users are actual people who just like the show?

It’s kind of funny how when you really look into it, almost every comment on any sub that reaches r/popular (and is usually a political post) is the same.

Just wondering if anyone else has been curious about that sub.

/uj Legitimately interested in this rifle but I’ve literally never heard of this cartridge before and don’t have anything like that in my reloading rig.

Fuck it. Rolling block. If anyone has any input I’d be very appreciative. The only ‘73 Winchester was just shy of 5k and that’s way out of my price range. Barrel looked brand new, gun is fully functional.
